There are topics in the General P2P forum discussing trophies. The number of kills people are needing are in the hundreds - it's quite a rare drop. I think if there was a limit on what you can have or get, it would be posted in those topics.

As the poster above confirms, assuming your your experience extends to everyone isn't wise. Many people had the entire outfit within 6 weeks after the event was released. I myself didn't get my first one until 9 months after it was released, and the second time I got it I was lagged and couldn't play, lol. There's a reason they call them "random" events. It's because they are random, not scheduled.

Yes, there is such a place. It is from the Rock and a Hard Place quest. You make a gold helmet and the dwarf fires you from a cannon into a rock, lol. The mine has nothing but gold -it's a great place. The dwarf east of the mine charges you some of your ores in order to make your bank run (but it totally beats walking back). I think he takes 5 of 27 (have to leave 1 space for taking off the helmet). If you do the Creature of Fenkenstrain and get the Ring of Charos, and then get the ring unlocked in the Garden of Tranquility quest, you can get the dwarf to take fewer gold (like 3 or so). Obviously I wouldn't recommend doing the two quests just for this savings, lol; but if you've done them it helps a bit. Good luck!

He got "You must complete Desert Treasure to use this teleport". I *think* it was after he built it and tried to use, but not 100% sure. This was McGuff1, btw.

Well, a friend was allowed to *build* a Canifis portal, then tried to use it and couldn't - mentioning Desert Treasure. Yeah, he was a bit ticked, lol. So that's how that works as far as I know. I'll check with him about the focus things too, in case nobody here knows (hate to have someone pull them down if they are expensive).

Heh, no, the point is that if you can't do a certain teleport in the game already, then you can't use the portal either. So Ardy tele requires the Plague City quest to be complete, Canifis tele requires Desert Treasure quest, and Yanille requires Watchtower quest. K? Um, I need someone to explain to me how the "focusing" thingie in the middle of the portal room works. Do you use it one time, or every time? Is each portal permanently fixed to one city (I assume so)? Why is the second of the three focus thingies (higher construction level) better than the first, or is it? Does it do more, or allow different teleports? Please advise, either here or by PM. This will go into the Tip.It Construction guide. THANKS!

Use at the Air, Water, Earth, and Fire altars to make simple elemental runes. Can't be made into a tiara.

Not true as far as I know - enchanted amulets are still free to play, and enchanting them is also. Only enchanted rings are P2P, along with amulets of glory and new fury amulets. EDIT: heh, sheepdean (post below about necklaces), I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks for adding.

Sorry to post again, but I just read this in a P2P topic and thought I should share: I'm not casting aspersions on your real life friend, lawrencekill, but players should be aware that sometimes people offer to pay just to take advantage. The account password is required in order to pay for someone else. Obviously, the person then has total access to your account. This is probably why Jagex prohibits payments from outside immediate family - Jagex constantly tries to protect us from scammers, and we continue to try to get around their restrictions, heh heh. I *think* (not sure) that you need skavid map and a candle. Skavid map is from Watchtower quest - if you lose it I'm fairly certain you can get another, presumably from the Skavids ... Next time use Help and Advice forum instead of P2P ;)

Um, Mushrooms are only available during farming. Mort Myre fungi, while they look just like orange mushrooms, are obtainable anytime. Use a blessed sickle (from the Nature Spirit quest) to "Cast bloom" in the Swamp near some fallen logs. I get them all the time to use in potions.

Since you don't seem to be getting anywhere due to all the restrictions, I suggest you resort to paying by "snail mail", that is the postal service. The "Pay by Cash" feature accepts checks or money orders. A money order can be bought at any convenience store (like 7-11) or grocery store and requires only the money and a minor fee (probably less than $.75 since the amount is so small) :D - I'm fairly certain that even a kid can buy one. Mailing the money to PBC avoids the problem of mailing something to England, too, lol. A money order is better because a check takes time to "clear" the bank (for them to actually get the money). The delay for the mail to get to PBC will be frustrating, but it is possible. Good luck.

The books are not tradeable, with or without the pages. If you lose your book, go back to the Lighthouse keeper and he will return it to you with pages intact. Also, your first book is free, but you have to buy another for 5k. You can't buy another book until you complete the one you have. And of course the books from him have no pages. I think info is included in Tip.It's prayer guide about this, as well as the Horror from the Deep quest guide. Normally you can sell the pages, just that now is a bad time to sell anything due to money plowed into construction. If you hang onto them a while, you should be able to sell. ;)

I have a question. What is the cost per plank for each method? (not counting sawmill cost - just wages cost). Sorry if this info is in there - I kinda got jumbled since I haven't used this method much yet. Thanks. ;)

hrm. not sure if you end up having to jump in or what. lemme go check some guides ... I assume you already got the two scrolls and the remains from the other cave, yes? Assuming so, let's move on. From Tip.It quest guide's Tips&Tricks section: Be sure to read the scrolls and ask all the questions when speaking to Trufitus, as you won't be able to do certain parts of the quest if you haven't. From Tip.It guide step: There are two ways to get out, either go back to where the broken table is and make a raft from it or go to the end of the path and click on the rocks. {that's all the way south and east where the little waterfall is. May take some small damage going out that way?} Another fansite's guide says you can't craft the table and must use the rock-waterfall exit only. Dunno if they took the raft out of the game or what ... Hope this helps. p.s.: now I'm wondering if maybe we were all supposed to bring a plank on this quest, lol!

Crew is working on getting the minimum data (by skill level) posted to the site before the main guide hits, just to get it out to max people.

Ectofuntus gives 4x the xp, so technically none of the new construction altars are better. HOWEVER, considering that there is no slime and bone grinding involved (both of which are done by very tedious and repetitive clicking), the new altars are the best thing since sliced bread. It's based on the fact that they had too many people on the boat and so you got passed over (that's why the crowd of people around you disappeared and you were suddenly on the boat with only a handful of people.) So you are the first pick to go next time so you don't get passed over again. Hope this helps.

Allbogs has all of this data entered into the skills calculator now (with xp) - guess we need to figure out how to open that up for users to see by levels rather than by room until we get the main guide up. In the meantime, another painstaking person has typed out all of these things in text. I'm trying to persuade that user to post here - it may be handy to some of you. This is not at all meant to diminish alkatmsu's excellent and EXTREMELY helpful work, which aided EVERYONE. But it will at least ease the photobucket bandwidth issue ;) Alkatmsu, I still plan to credit you in the site guide for your heroic work here. The version that got officialized was just one ahead of me :oops: Remind me early and often - you worked hard and you deserve it!

Darn, I was desperately hoping this was going to be about Construction. Considering you are something of an expert (lol), and considering that we are still working on completing the guide (ahem), would you be willing to share some of your expertise? That would be with or without the "mills", BTW. (I thought you meant sawmills. Obviously I only see what I want to see, heh heh.) Don't worry about anything that is included in the Jagex Knowledge Base, or details about the tea - we have plenty of info on that. But anything else would be GREAT. *sits at The Valor's feet and waits hopefully for wisdom of the ages*
