I focus on playability of consoles and games, but unfortunately, people care about great graphics. So, in order to sell those that audience, they'll need bluray discs. Again, we can't really say anything but that it's had a rough start. We'll see once the bigger titles come out :) Then we can argue some more, haha.

Generally, if you buy the parts and give it to them to put together, they will charge labor. Different shops have different policies, so call around to local computer shops.

Too bad you can't play Tekken 6 on anything but the ps3 :) Blu-ray will probably be useful in the future, but as of now, I think DVDs are fine. I think Sony did it too quickly, but who knows? Maybe they're just one step ahead of all their competitors :) Only time will tell what becomes the successor to DVDs..

I wonder, all the ps3 critics.. have you guys actually owned a ps3? :/ I don't know what this talk about bugs and glitches is about, but from my experiences, my ps/ps2 games all play perfectly. The only problem I've seen was with NBA Live 2007. Now that was horrible glitching. xD With an annoying emphasis on graphics with new consoles (which I personally don't think is that important), they'll need blu-ray. I'm assuming other sites load up. Try refreshing the cached page (ctrl+f5). If that doesn't work, clear our your internet cache and see if that works. It's either that, or it's a temporary thing. I've been seeing a lot of "runescape's website won't load" threads lately..

Same goes with xbox. Nintendo too. It happens with all consoles.. Actually, every single one of my ps and ps2 games have worked on my ps3. I don't know what you're talking about. Developing a game for a new system is always hard. You have to get used to the new programming. And since it's a new system, you also have to work on wowing the players with all new stuff. Remember when the ps2 came out? It had a slow start up too. Or xbox? Launch for xbox (not 360): Honestly, there's like 2 whole games I'd play in that lineup. But better games have been made for the xbox/360 since then. The same will happen with the ps3. And with all the negative publicity, people aren't even willing to try it out.

Before you save the movie file, it'll give you options for quality. As for the error, I can't exactly tell you what to do.. since it could be anything causing it.

Change the quality when you're saving it. You probably saved it as low quality and hence, it looks like weaksauce.

PS3 will definitely win. Everyone's all Sony-hating although you know you all love them. :wink: Give it time, let the companies produce their games, and allow the price to drop, then we'll see who wins. IMO, Playstation has the best games, although Nintendo is a good second. Personally, I don't see the 360 winning at all. And Nintendo will be pretty well off with the Wii, simply because they can cater to gamers and non-gamers.

wilcher, scan with AVG and such? It should be able to clean out the trojan by itself, hopefully.. And Jaziek, PM an admin with info about the malware ads and explain the situation. I haven't seen one of these bad ads yet :/

If you'd like, Start -> run 'msconfig' (without quotes) Startup tab, uncheck the [Caution: Executable File] files for the tray icons (google the names and itll tell you what each one is) A little more work, but it will save you some system resources :)

It looks like it removed it, but crashed on the restart. Give me a copy of hijackthis log, and we can check :)
