  1. 1. I was in no way part of any clan chat that spammed your clan chat. Many of my friends left this game long ago. Up until recently, I had done the same. But that is neither here nor there. And I am all for you defending yourself. I will "vouch" and say that your payouts are legitimate. You have a 18% house edge and a reputation. Ruining that reputation would likely cut any future profits by scamming. So to anyone who wants play dice, go with mew2 cc, as they will pay you out. My problem with this is the fact that I have now been muted twice for committing no runescape offenses. This post would have never been made if I wasn't muted. And as far as it looks to me, I was muted for 1. Advertising my own hosting, outside of your clan chat. 2.Vouching for a member that was not part of your clan, outside of the clan chat. Again, I did nothing wrong. Mew2, if you thought I was auto-typing or if I was muted because of one of the other auto-typers and just hit in the crossfire, then that's nothing more than a misunderstanding. However, Pyr0 had the intention of trying to get me muted because I was "on your turf". He knew I wasn't auto-typing, he just told me to "keep talking so the mod can mute me"... inb4thelock
  2. I disagree with the fact that you say dice games aren't legitimate. The odds are stacked against you, however so are the odds in vegas casino's, yet they are supported by gaming commisions, as well as gamblers who know the odds. I know that playing 60x2, there is a 18% house edge. I know that if someone offers 60x2 95x2, the house edge is reduced to 6%. I know the odds are still against me, but that's why it is gambling. I also know that staking on my account likely offers a greater edge than those mentioned above. Thanks for your input :)
  3. That is kind of what I was hoping for. The main mission of this statement is that corrupt pmods need to be dealt with by Jagex. I have no problem with mew2's dicing clan on the aspect of paying out, as I believe they are legitimate in their payouts.
  4. Ok, well you missed the point. The point is that I wasn't.... I wasn't advertising anything in your clan. I've been kicked from that clan chat since yesterday. Nice try though And I don't have a clan. So there is nothing for me to advertise. I was merely just hosting on "your turf". And then playing on "your turf" with someone who wasn't associated with your clan. Again, he said-she said bs.
  5. I am using runescape within firefox. Not even using the SK client. I obviously wasn't auto-typing. To try and say that I was auto-typing is absurd. And can you explain my second mute then? The guy wasn't even my friend. Just a legitimate hoster. He had some people adverting for him who were likely auto-typing, but I had no part of that. The evidence for my 2nd mute is: "-so and so- is legitimate. He payed me out 3x" this was followed by a guy asking if he really pays out 3x "Yeah, he paid me 3x". Only evidence in report. Either way, this is going to turn into a flame war and likely be locked. As far as being behind you're back. I told Pyr0 I would be posting evidence to TIF if his pmod buddy muted me for no reason, to which he replied "Jagex doesn't accept video evidence". I don't think posting this to an open forum is in anyway "behind your back". Sorry, there is corruption within your clan. You are well aware of it, and allow it.
  6. I realize this is a kids game. But the immaturity shown by you... :wall:
  7. Mew2 was part of the corruption as far as I'm concerned. 1. The player mod corruption is more of a concern to me than the clan. I've heard good things about the clan, but they are pretty immature when it comes to competition. 2. This guy was giving better odds than most of the people in mew2's clan. I decided to try him to see if he was legit. He rolled a 95 and payed me 2.7m on a 900k bet, and the guy followed with a 96, and payed some guy 1.2m on a 400k bet. Pyr0 loves that he can get people muted with this corrupt mod. More of my concern. 3. I now have 2 mutes in 2 days from this Pyr0 guy. He obviously isn't the mod, but he informed me that he "would get me muted". 4. The injustice of the above action speaks for itself. 5. I appreciate your maturity on the matter, but the damage is done.
  8. So this time, a guy was dicing in a different clan. He was offering 60x2 95x3, which is only a 6% house edge, compared to 18% of the other clan. Well, he payed me out on a 900k bet, and I let everyone around know that he is legit. This is the results. Both the original host and I were muted.
  9. The point of pmods is so they don't have to read reports...apparently.
  10. I respect your reply, however I disagree with you're final comment There are ways to make faster cash.. If you take the scamming out of dicing, it really is no different then many legal us casino games. The house edge in dicing with 60x2 is 18%, which is pretty horrible compared to games like blackjack and roullete, however compared to games like keno and some slot machines, it's right on par. When free trade first came out, I was able to easily turn a 10m cash stack into over 200m in only probably 10 hours of playing. I don't know any other activity that gives 10-20m per hour, along with social interaction.
  11. I was no way judging "all" player mods. I know Spooferfish although not as well as I probably should. Both of us have been long time players of this game, and I am aware of his PMOD status. I would never state that all pmods are corrupt, or even that most are corrupt. I just think it's pretty ridiculous that these players are honored by Jagex with the ability to offer some moderation to this game, and instead they abuse their privileges. I also find it discouraging that any sight of competition and this clan is able to call upon one of these players who obviously lacks the ethics that a person in their position should withhold. Next I blame Jagex. 1. For their unclear stance on dicing. 2.For their ability to only trust those who they have nominated has player moderators, and to very rarely review if these p mods deserve this title.
  12. Hey Everyone, So today I ran into a rather interesting predicament in runescape. Never before have I ran into what I like to consider administrative corruption, however I had witnessed it before. I was getting bored of skilling, and decided to try hosting some dice games. I join a friend and we hop a few worlds, offering the services of our dice to all those who wish to partake. After a while, we decide to hop to world 22, as I was told this was another popular dicing world. After advertising our game, it was apparent that this world was "turf" of a popular dicing clan, who I won't advertise. Apparently pissed off, they started spamming to join their cc, as their hosting is legit. Snidely, I commented that my hosting is legit as well, as I see the benefits of hosting legit dice games(the advantage is already in my favor, and I know I could earn more as a legit dicer than as a scammer). Anyway, after a few moments, my friend is muted. He starts talking to me on his other account, making me aware of the mute. A member of the other dicing clan then joins my cc and informs me that if I don't leave, he will 'get' me muted as well. I inform him that I haven't committed any runescape offenses, and that I am doing nothing different than he is. He informs me that this is "their" dicing world, and that I had no right being there. I was in the middle of a game with another person, and continue this game. In the middle of this game, the same person rejoins my cc and says something along the lines of: "Enjoy that mute" "Guys, he is muted. Join "xxxx" cc if you would like to dice". Sure enough, I was muted. I checked my message center to find that I had received a black mark for "item scamming". The evidence was nothing more then me advertising my dice game, as well as my comments on whether the person had one or lost. The mute was apparently removed from my account before the 48 hr period that was required for it, however the mark remains on my account. When I log back in about a day later, the leader of the dicing clan had informed me that if I "messed" with them again, he would do worse than mute me. I started playing kind of dumb and asked him how he had managed to get me muted, and he told me he had a JMOD do it. That was obviously crap. I'm sure it was some pmod. So to sum it all up, I was muted for being competition to this clans dicing game. I found out that you can join this clan, however you must pay the leader of the clan 200m and there is a 4 week trial period. However this apparently offers you protection from being "muted". Sounds like something straight out of "the godfather". Anyway, this is obvious corruption in the community, and I for one think it's pretty ridiculous. As far as dicing goes, to my knowledge Jagex doesn't consider the act against their rules, however I have heard it is frowned upon. Of course this is all controversial, and you won't receive a straight answer from any Jmod about it. For this reason, I still partake in the activity when I am bored. I wouldn't mind starting my own dicing clan, as there is a sense of community. I still await how the appeal will turn out with my black mark. I'm sure I'll get an automated response, and it will remain on the account for a year. Anyway, I thought I would share my stories with the community. I know a few pmods peruse this forum. If any would like to either post your response here or pm what you think about the above action, I would enjoy. -N64jive
  13. If you don't want to "throw" away your life then you can log off of runescape and go find something that makes you feel like you're not wasting time. That argument could be said about anything. Why play xbox, it doesn't contribute to you're life...oh except for the fact that it's fun. Some people don't find levels 1-98 fun on runescape. So they bot to 99. Once they are their, everything is fun.
  14. This entire thread is a joke. It's good to see that some of the TIF community have their heads on straight and aren't being brainwashed/butt-raped by jagex. To call someone "Scum" because they don't play a video game the way it is supposed to be played is completely crossing the line. To compare the personality of a botter to that of a person who lies/cheats/steals in real life is completely crossing the line. To the guy who cussed out his "friend" and removed him from his friends list, he is better off not having friends like you. Everyone by now knows, and I shouldn't have to say it, but runescape is a GAME. A game that takes many, many hours to get to the "ideal" part of the game. I have friends who bot. I have real life friends who bot. They started the game years after me and have better stats in many skills. Does this piss me off? No. I enjoy doing activities with them, such as boss-hunting, or other activities that require high level skills. The only way for them to have achieved that otherwise would have been to turn into a runescape playing zombie and grind out the levels. Nights when we went out to the bars or to parties, they would have had to play runescape instead to get where they are at now. I feel like a good chunk of my life was wasted by getting some of the skills I got to by grinding it all out. I could have focused on so many different things that would have bettered my life. By the way, to those who are interested in programming/engineering/computer science, botting could help you gain knowledge/skill in that profession. How does runescape better your life? It doesn't. So to those of you who the judge the personality of someone poorly because they choose to automate the grind of runescape. To those that call these people scum, and compare them to people who cheat to get ahead in life? Fathom this situation for example: Jimmy and Rob are in college together. Jimmy and Rob both play runescape with similiar level accounts. Jimmy thinks Rob is scum, because Rob gets those level by leaving his computer to "play iteself" while he is at class. Rob hardly ever sees Jimmy at class, because Jimmy is playing runescape. Rob hardly ever sees Jimmy at social gatherings because Jimmy is playing runescape. Rob asked Jimmy if he wanted to goto the REC to play some sports, but Jimmy refused because he wanted to get 96 runecrafting. Jimmy then proceded to call Rob scum, because he noticed that he already has 99 runecrafting. Rob goes to the gym and better's his health by exercising. Jimmy begins to develop plaque in his arteries. Next semester rolls around, Rob get's an intership for a big company. He is going to help them develop software. Jimmy drop out of college. He failed most of his finals. He lost his scholarships. 5 years later, Rob works for a fortune 500 company developing software. Jimmy works at a Grocery Store. Jimmy and Rob both have very close skill totals on runescape. Jimmy is legit. Rob is scum. This may or may not be based on a true story.

If by better, you mean more, than yes. However the seeds produced are completely random.
  16. When you get up to the mid level dungeons, a lot of the monsters start dropping prom gear. I got a gorgonite maul, 2 minutes later I got prom spear, 2 kills later I got prom rapier....next dungeon I got primal rapier.
  17. Jagex would have to change the ID's every week, which would be burden on their part. Also, I'm not 100% sure of the size of bot "development" community (those that don't just use bots, but actually develop the scripts), but I would assume that people would be able to collaborate, maybe even create global ID's for any monster, and then whoever has access could just update that information based on the user collaboration.

  19. Why do people feel like captcha's are unsolvable? According to a class I'm taking captcha's have a fail rate of somewhere between 30% to 50%, depending on the type of captcha. If something is only able to stop animation anywhere from one-third of the time to half of the time, it's not very successful. And yes, Jagex used CAPTCHA like system back with sleeping bags. I believe their success rate was even worse.
  20. I may cancel my membership for....may (no pun intended)...seriously, I don't care about any of these updates...
  21. The ipad, it's either a kickass ipod, or a [cabbage]ty laptop. Take your pick.
  22. They can only change things in their client and would be unable to change anything in anyone elses client without direct access to their client (ie, they would have to have control of your computer).
  23. Someone went through the bytecode of the Runescape client Java classes and was able to discover how to edit a few bytes in order to do this. It's actually pretty simple "repeat" although finding it is pretty insane. Props to that guy. I wouldn't recommend doing it as you could get banned.
  24. This is Fake The guy has a lot of cash from abusing staking glitches. He used cheat engine to create the negative value, CLIENT SIDE.
  25. Games shouldn't take dedication. It's a game. You should play it for fun. However, with that said, paying money for in game items would be ridiculous. I can't believe that people do it. Although I have a theory that some people do it in order to gamble, ie they buy a maxed account, they buy gold, and then they stake. Gives better odds than the casino, except for that fact that people can cheat, and you always pay more for gp than you can sell it for. So I guess that ruins that theory...
