  1. This time of year is going to be killer for me buying TV box sets. BSG season 3, Lost season 3, 24 season 6, Heroes season 1, Jericho season 1, and Dirt season 1.
  2. 7/10. Didn't know we were supposed to read every single word on the page to see if it was grammatically correct or not.
  3. Much rather be deaf.
  4. Did they give a definite starting date yet? As far as I know, it's still just "sometime in 2008."
  5. I work, so I don't get summer holidays :P . Well that's not entirely true, I do go to school at night and I took the summer off. However I am working a lot of overtime at work in its place.
  6. I remember reading this topic and I am pretty sure I replied to it, guess not. Still, that is a cool video of Weird Al.
  7. All computers are binary. 2038 is a problem with 32 bit systems.
  8. Yeah, it being labeled the number 1 movie of all time I think is the main reason it didn't feel like it lived up to expectations. I will have to watch it again, but it seems it isn't on my computer anymore so I will have to buy it. "Drive" complete series - They finally put the last two episodes up a week or so ago, so all six that are going to be coming out are out. Was it a good show? Not really, it actually kind of sucked. The plot was stupid at best, the dialogue was atrocious at best, and the acting did leave something to be wanted. However, for some reason I liked it. I know it wasn't very good, but I was still pissed of FOX canceled it. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - This movie was different. OK I guess, kind of boring at times, most of the time it was just plain weird. Most of the time weird is good, but this time it was just kind of meh.
  9. This is one of the worse internet quizzes I have taken before. After not being happy with the first three questions (no answer for me in a 2d spectrum) I decided it wasn't worth finishing.
  10. If the situation were merely a choice that I had to make, but was not the cause of any of the factors leading up to it, I would choose a loved one. Choosing the loved one wouldn't be condemning the 3000 to death, it wouldn't be your responsibility, it wouldn't be your fault they died. The only thing you would be responsible for is saving one persons life.
  11. I am using those spiral light bulbs right now, but one is flickering really badly. It is very annoying. It sucks even more because I just installed it yesterday.
  12. I was just thinking about bumping this up sometime soon. Great minds think alike :D . Oh and very, very, very nice collection Daan. Looks like you are about out of room to put anymore :D
  13. In the right mood I can get scarred by a good amount of games. I've been dungeon crawling in Morrowind or Oblivion before and had someone appear out of no where and scare the [cabbage] out of me. That happens a good deal. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem scarred the hell out me many a times.
  14. Why those three? Toyota is the biggest car manufacturer. Anyways I really don't do anything to stop global warming. When I get the money I will be trying to go green with electricity, not so much for the environment as it is to save me money in the long run.
  15. Ron Paul is pretty big on the Internet, at least on digg, but the latest poll puts him at not having 1% of the vote yet. Still my favourite candidate, if no one better comes along I will be voting for him.
  16. I felt the same way about Citizen Kane. I always meant to watch it a second time through, maybe I will do that tonight. It just didn't seem as great as it was supposed to be.
  17. "Reno 911!" entire series - Not a big fan. I did laugh a few times, but that was spread out over 4 seasons of episodes. Reno 911!: Miami - I guess this wasn't in the same continuity as the TV series. A few funny parts, but not even as many as other generic comedies. Overall very disappointing (even expecting as little as I was), but I guess if you like the TV series it might be OK.
  18. I order you to go down to your nearest game store and get LEGO Star Wars RIGHT NOW!!! I heard that was good, and really wanted to try it out. I did end up "acquiring" it, but it didn't work and I haven't tried to get another version yet.
  19. On the type of lock he is talking about it isn't any harder than that.
  20. Did you know you can't believe everything you hear on the internet? Yeah it was actually revealed today that that was just a hoax.
  21. Tis what I said :P Yep, it was said a few times but others I guess wanted to show off how good of lock pickers they are (lol) with detailed instructions that don't work on this kind of lock.
  22. The OP said it was just a doorknob with a hole in it, you don't need detailed lockpicking instructions. Use a nail and push straight in. They aren't made to be secure, incase of an emergency they can be easily opened. Just gives a symbol of security so family members don't walk in.
  23. When you are outside working in the sweltering heat, and the hose is right there it is very nice.
  24. Same news report happens every summer. At least it has as long as I can remember. I drank water from the hose when I was young, and I still do every now and then. No lead poisoning here.
  25. Could be cool, but also could suck. I was really excited about Lego Racer back years ago when it came out, but it turned out to not be very customizable at all. Haven't played a Lego game since then so who knows.
