V for Vendetta - not quite as good the second time. still pretty enertaining, just was missing something. Full Metal Jacket - a really awesome anti-war movie. two main parts to the movie, the first 40 minutes really was the most cliched boot camp training scenerio that ive ever seen. the second half kind of made fun of vietnam and everything to do with it. it was kind of odd to see adam baldwin in another movie after seeing him in serenity/firefly.

its actually about 15 seconds long, and didnt give nearly as much information as that. SPOLIER: the guy on the table says the girls name, the girl says "xavier, is that you?" and thats about it. less than 10 words. you could figure out that xavier transferred his mind to this body, by the scene at the begining. what they didnt point out was that the woman in this scene is in fact xaviers wife.

thats why i like having my own computer, no one else can get on it without me knowing. and if you dont like people looking while you are surfing the web: try Ghostzilla. its pretty cool.

:P . i read every single post, although i dont reply to them very often at all. it may seem as if i just post my movies and dont care about anyone elses, but i do. just thought id point that out, i looked back over some of this topic the other day and thats what it looked like i was doing. is there a way to search just this topic? after i watch a movie (not before, so i dont go in with bias) id like to be able to go back and read what others had to say about it. or read what i had to say about it, if it was a repeat. @rick: that is a crap load of movies :o . all 20 james bond? freaking awesome. On the Waterfront - magnificent, awesome performance by marlon brando. definently a great movie, good story, good everything. the only thing, and i mean the only thing not all that great was the girl. she didnt "convince" me like everyone else did. other than that, great, great movie.

Back to the Future - this movie is enjoyable, as always, still havent watched the whole thing at one time though :lol: . this time i missed the first 30 minutes. definently going to look around for a box set, i really want to sit down and watch the whole thing at one time :D . The Manchurian Candidate (1962) - heh, watched the one on the top 250 list this time. i think i liked them both equally, some parts were better in the new one, some parts (specifically the end) were better in the old. the name actually makes a little more sense this time, it was just a name in the new one. anyways, good movie.

ill shop around a bit then, the miniseries was $22, and the first season was $43. Ant had to go and show off his posters ( :P ), which made me want some more, and then allposters.com sent me an email announcing a sale, so i bought $60 worth of posters :lol: . once i get them and hang them up ill take pictures of my room, i already have a few other posters hanging.

:shock: @matt: i was probably going to skip the 1978 version anyways, it cost $72! they are all kind of expensive, i might just buy the miniseries for now. do they still play the episodes on tv?

id have to say because it is easier to listen to all kinds of music and hold opinions, whereas movies are much longer, so you dont watch as big of a variety. actually i dont know if that makes sense or not :lol: .

really? my dads a mailman, he loves the summer. too hard to walk around in the snow in the winter. me, i hate cold weather. it was around 85 degrees (F, of course :wink: ) today, and it was almost perfect. when im at home its perfect, when im working i like 85 with a good breeze. anything colder than 70 is uncomfortable.

If you are too stingy you can make one yourself by following these plans And yes you will LOVE Battlestar Galactica, its the best drama on TV by far ignoring the fact its a sci fi show. ah man, that site has a ton of stuff on it, i know where all my money is going next month :D . although i dont see anything about international shipping, that may be a problem... and that model looks to hard for me to do :lol: . and i see battlestar galactica season 1, season 2, a miniseries, and a 1978 version. which should i start with? yeah that is better prices for frames than i was looking at. ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã3=$5.50 usd, and i was looking at $10 a piece, and thats only if i bought bulk (10+). too bad i dont live in the uk :( . and i always worry about buying stuff on ebay, i dont trust people :x .

ahh, thats for two people. i was kind of wondering why it was so much :lol: . usually go to the matinee, $5.50. dont buy pop or popcorn or candy. sometimes ill sneak candy in, but nothing else.

about the sony dvd-r thing, there were two players. one had a dvd-r in it, and the other had a blu-ray. i think it was a comparison.

QFT never liked the final fantasy games or any japanese rpgs like it. favourite definently morrowind, followed by oblivion, followed by kings field 2 for psx. then id have to go with the d&d games, kotor, nwn.

@matt: where did you find that serenity model ship? that thing is awesome. and if i really enjoyed firefly, would i like battlestar galactica? @daan: that avp boxset is awesome! i liked alien and aliens, and predator 1, the others, not so much. still i want it :lol: . @rick: i like that alien tin, if it wasnt region 4 i would get it :( . @ant: awesome room, i love the 6x4 poster :D . where did you get it? and where do you get frames from, all the places ive found cost more than the posters. i only buy the cheap posters from allposters.com, i guess if i spent more id like to frame them.

yeah, sawyer would be pretty good at it. hes my favourite charachter in lost, so id be happy with that :D

i always thought the aes sedai from the wheel of time series were pretty kick [wagon], as well as the forsaken.

as for your rights, at age 17 (are you in the usa?) i dont think you are protected. i know its not the way it should be, but thats the way it is. i dont know if this deals with free speech rights either, probably something more along the lines of property rights. if the laptop is bought and paid for by you (with money you earned from a job, not from "allowences") you might have a small chance there. but its probably hopeless.

yeah, gambit was always my favourite charachter. brad pitt would be a good choice, so would ed norton. i dont know if ed norton could pull off the accent though.

yeah its from ctrl alt del comics. tim posted the next day that there were a lot of things he didnt think of at first, that there were good arguments for both sides.

Doctor Zhivago - pretty good drama/romance movie. the time period the movie is taking place in makes it pretty interesting. a little too long, for what was accomplished. and the dvd wasnt set up all that great, it uses both sides of a disc and didnt say which side was first. then they put an intermission before the movie starts, and well the dvd wasnt set up very well. anyways, pretty good watch.
