some movies just dont rub me the right way, and i guess this was one :? . X2 - second in the xmen trilogy. it was enertaining. not much else to say. X-Men: The Last Stand - third in the xmen trilogy. it was enertaining. not much else to say.

my friend said the lady at the begining and end is xaviers wife in the comics. he also is a huge fan of the comics, probably has everyone there is, and knows way to much about xmen in general. he enjoyed it, so not all people who read the comics arent going to like it. i enjoyed it too, as much as the first two. the acting wasnt all that great anywhere in it, but the special effects and action was good. the plot was ok, nothing special about it. and FOX confirmed another xmen movie, i dont know how they will do that without the two/three that are dead. they could all make them come back alive like they do in the comics quite frequently (friend said at one point or another almost everyone of the xmen have died and come back to life, some multiple times), but that might not go over to well with the general population.

well, donnie darko is my favourite movie movie, but i dont know if it "changed my life". it is really enertaining though :D

Das Boot - i guess if you like submarines its a good movie, personally i havent been more bored or uninterested in a movie in a long time. about 50 minutes into i almost shut it off, but i figured i had to watch it to mark it off the top 250 movies list to watch. about an hour and 50 minutes into it you have to turn over the dvd, since the movie is 3 and a half hours long. i ended up skipping a few chapters, and i didnt miss a thing. then i watched about an hour total at 2x speed, the subtitles still worked so i got just as much out of the story. watched some of the rest at normal speed. i wouldnt recommend it to anyone, unless you really, really have nothing better to waste 3 and a half hours on. actually, just sitting on the couch doing nothing, just thinking, for 3.5 hours would probably be less boresome.

Big Fish - talk about a wierd movie. but its a tim burton movie, so i expected it. it was really good; had a very interesting story, everything was done very well. dont have much to say, except see it if you have the chance.

yeah, it was a big rukus on a few other sites a few days ago. the marketers at sony would know better than to do something like that, it would completely kill the renting aspect of games.

"Mr. Bean" - a tv series from 1990, and it is absolutly hilarious. i watched all 15 episodes, and every one was funny. it might be even funnier for some of the others here because its a british comedy. "Firefly" - this makes the third time watching the entire series, and i still got a kick out of it. at first i didnt want to watch it because i just watched it not to long ago, and i didnt want it to get old. finally i couldnt contain myself and had to watch them. third time through, so i figured i could really study everything thats going on with the actual main plots of the series with the blue sun corporation and everything. saw a lot of advertisements for it in the background, but after the third or fourth episode i was enjoying it way too much to pick it all apart. every episode is great, with two exceptions. one is where they are shipped a dead war buddy at the begining, this episode was good, not great. the other is the very last in the series (on the dvds, it may have been one that wasnt shown on tv), which id have to say is really freaking awesomely great. for a "season finale" it might be lacking a bit because it didnt leave you hanging onto anything, but for a regular episode its definently the best. Serenity - i always follow up watching the series with watching the movie. the only difference this time is what i thought of the movie. all the other times i thought it was as good as the series, but for some reason i was a little let down this time. i think because the movie really has to rush everything, and so much is missed. they dropped the whole blue sun plot, and when straight towards one of the biggest points of the series (reavers). didnt give me the same feeling as the tv show did. i think the problem is the show was cancelled, and that really really pisses me off after i watch all the episodes. then i watch the movie, and it kind of makes me feel like im dying of thirst in the middle of a desert, and someone gives me one drink of water. sure, its nice, but its just not enough to make a difference. just prolonging the inevitable. althought there is another way to think, it may prolong it enough for there be a chance to be saved... anyways, that all sounds like i dont like the movie, which isnt true at all. i really, really enjoyed the movie too. just not quite as much as the series.

"good" when talking about comedies could really mean one of two things. it could mean the movie is good, directed, written, acted, and produced all very well, or it could mean its really really funny. most comedies that have been coming out recently have been good in the "really funny" way. there are less comedies that are "good" from a movie standpoint, and i cant think of one off the top of my head that is really new. have to go back a year or two i think. that is, of course, just my opinion. oh, and the ringer was just "ok" in the "really funny" way, and not all that great in the "movie" way.

are you saying its easy to take your own life? im sure it takes a lot of courage to bring yourself to end your life. it may be selfish in some instances, in others it may not. dont see how that matters though, i dont think of selfish as being a negative word.

they both involve ending your life. everyone is going to die eventually, and usually suffer at one point or another before then. just because the people who "think they have nothing to live for" dont have any medical or health problems doesnt mean they arent suffering. everyone, regardless of health, should have the right to end their life when they please.

yep, for euthenesia. if someone doesnt feel like living anymore, its not our right to tell that person that they have to live. suicide is completely their choice.

Actually, it is. People with mental problems will receive way lighter criminal charges than a person without. now it is, but it shouldnt be. they dont deserve any different rights than every other human being.

yes, it does. and they have to accept the consequences of their actions of drinking, or doing drugs, or whatever (i cant decid what i think about the voting part, havent worked it through yet). if they start operating heavy machinery, and run into a building, they will be punished the same as an adult.
