Finally got the quests done
Peronix replied to Soupy17's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
So you felt completing those particular quests represented a significant milestone in your career. Great! And as long as you don't make a personal blog out of this forum, I'm perfectly fine with you posting achievements which are below my standards for what I post. And no, that wasn't sarcasm. Though in the future I'd advise you to avoid feeding the trolls. There are many here. -
Btw, I just got through reading book 1 of the comic and so far it seems the movie has been pretty loyal to the comic. A few things were different, but then again a lot of the lines were the same. Most notably it seems scott and friends weren't as big of nerds as they were in the movie. But TBH that just made it better

Just got back form the movie, and I loved it. Don't think I've ever LOL'd so much during a movie. I'll admit it's defiantly not for everyone, and I just know the "intellectuals" are going to [cabbage] all over it. But whatever, haters gon' hate

To heck with CE, I miss Zamorak. God letters bak pls -
I feel ya', power outage at TDs = full void range and melee + 1m or so. Ofc the void if it were tradeable would probably be 10m+

You just proved him right. It wasn't inflated. The reason it is CRASHING is because of a panic, its not crashing because it was inflated, and then people panicked. Indeed, that should have been obvious. Yes the herbs are inflated, because everything else is too. Nothing major has changed to the source of this inflation, and massive ammounts of herbs were just dumped onto the economy due to a glitch, so increase in supply + panic = crash. Snapdragons are crashing purely because of panic. Which never ceases to amuse me :D

Funny thing, spapdragons falling when they don't even come from MTK :D

Second article is pointless. Sure I'll hop worlds if something is full when it rarely ever is, but a lot of things are so packed I have no choice. Like the greater demons in Kuradal's dungeon. I can kill those suckers so fast with extremes turmoil and claws that I can kill most spawns in the entire room before the first one comes back. Consequently, when I arrive on the scene, others tend to leave in very short order...
-
What's wrong with instancing things? The whole problem is lack of spawns, no? Of course people at the top of the totem pole don't want instancing, because they don't have to worry about being crashed. While people lower on said pole would gladly sacrifice some profit for a little security. Instancing couldn't possibly make this any more of a single player game. Jagex's [developmentally delayed]ed game mechanics make it so. There's no way to tank, no true healing magic, no buffs, nothing. Combine this with the fact that most people don't give a [cabbage] about anyone other than themselves, and you have a single player game already. And besides, if the only player interaction is crashing, I'd be glad to take it out of the equation.

On some accounts MTK was glitched such that a ton more resources were produced than should have been. Like me, my store rooms were completely full, which should have taken a full year, but only took less than a month. Which is about 60m worth of stuff. [/hide] The rooms were completely full regardless of the time you last checked them (people reported that it took them 2 days, personally I last checked them 6 days ago) Yes, well someone people reported getting far less than 60m worth of stuff, though still far more than they should have. I figured it must not have filled up for everyone.

Its use is highly situational, at best. I don't spend 100m+ for highly situational items. Unless I'm a Bill Gates merchant clan leader. In which case I'd buy any and all items anyway, just because I can.

So the advisor works now, and guess how much stuff I got. 60m. And I still have 6.5m in the coffers LOL. I know the money is bugged, but technically this isn't bug abuse because I didn't actually do anything. I just went and collected my stuff like I would normally do. I suppose if giving a few lucky players 50m+ who just happened to have a couple thousand climbing boots sitting around is OK, I can take this stuff to the bank too. Though it probably won't sell for a while  -

Meh my servants informed me that "the storerooms are full" but when I go to the advisor he just says "Please try again later" <_< -
Yeah, don't get your hopes up. They said they've guaranteed a drop by adding a bunch of new common unique rewards, like god arrows teletabs biscuts etc. In other words more junk like firelighters.

When people look forward to something and there are this many delays, of course some people are going to be upset, and some may even blame Jagex. Not a whole lot you can do about that. Unerstandable to a degree as well, as we do pay Jagex by the month and delays mean more money is spent maintaining membership in the meantime. It's just amazing to me that you people who claim to be so patient as to not let these delays bother you at all, let the complainers get to you. Can't you just ignore them?
-
I wouldn't say that's entirely true. For example I didn't really like Clash of the Titans at all. The CGI was amazing, as was the action, but I thought the movie itself was just meh. Yes Avatar was average at best, but in my opinion it was a world better than movies like Clash, and combine that with he best damned CGI experience I've ever seen and it becomes a hell of a movie. Yeah CGI isn't everything but neither is plot. I guess it's just more important to some than others.

I would give you a decent explanation into understanding the movies. Because if you don't think these movies are great, you probably do lack the intelligence to recognize their artistic value (let's not even talk about appreciate it). :) YGuy, I'll go into that later. I haven't got much time on hands at the moment. Oh, would you now? Because I wouldn't even bother trying to explain anything about Inception or anything else to you, because it would be pointless. Because I actually recognize that other people have different tastes and points of view and to try and convince them that they are wrong would be presumptuous on my part. And, most importantly, that these other points of view are NOT necessarily a result of someone being less intelligent than I. That I think that a good movie is judged by its popularity is simply a reflection of that belief; that I can actually recognize something is a good movie even though I didn't necessarily like it. For example, those movies you listed are probably all very good movies, but there is a good chance that I wouldn't care for at least one of them, for any number of reasons. That's how human beings are. You can't please everyone, but when you do manage to please a good majority of them with a movie like Inception, in my book you've got a winner.
-
Well, stupid, that might be a bit too much (a lot of people probably are, though). Let's keep it at that those people generally don't have much understanding of movies (note how movies comes from movement, something Nolan doesn't seem to be very comfortable with). I haven't seen much movies the last two/three months, but some highlights were "A Star is Born", "Basic Instinct", "Make way for tomorrow", "De Vierde Man" and "Le Mépris". Most people said that they liked this movie, but to be honest, I haven't seen or heard a single decent reason why I should like this movie. Let alone why this should be a "masterpiece". And what if I were to watch any of those movies and tell you I didn't care for it? What would you say? That I lack the intelligence to appreciate its artistic value? I'd hope not. And yet that's exactly what you seem to be saying, in reverse, about this movie. That anyone who did like it has [cabbage] for brain or is ignorant.
-
Oh boy, "It was a CGIfest", "It's a shallow movie that tricked you into thinking it was deep". Just a couple of comments I've seen that were almost exactly like that. Such drivel. Look, just because you didn't like a well-received movie dosen't mean you have to insult the intelligence of those who did. Or state your opinion as fact... Yes, it was a good movie, for the simple reason that an overwhelmingly large percentage of people that went to see it loved it.
-
Fanboys? ;) It actually was pretty good. Nowhere near 3rd greatest movie of all time, but good nonetheless. Yeah, well ratings really have nothing to do with actual worth. They moreso represent current trends, e.g an old movie may get worse ratings over time but that dosen't mean it has gotten any worse, it's just less appreciated because of new technology. But yeah, it was one hell of a movie.

Installing iTunes automatically installs all of that, though some older versions lack some of it. Just make sure none of those exist in add/remove programs before you reinstall.
-
Yes, but make sure that you uninstall ALL of the itunes components before reinstalling as this is where I ran into trouble and wound up having to do a system restore to resolve it... <_< This includes iTunes, Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, and Apple Application Support. You may want to install an older version because as I mentioned earlier the latest version has some issues with some versions of Windows. You can find older versions at websites like oldapps.com
