  1. Sweet, only one level left! Tell me party details pl0x! (I can lend you a purple if you want, too.)
  2. BiJay replied to a post in a topic in General Discussion
You have two hands I assume so you just say that you can type with one hand and click with the other hand. Thats nothing big and I often do it while firemaking. And I can't remember anyone who called me an autoer for that.
  3. Adverts for myself ftw.
  4. Of course. Most people who see someone with a p hat thinks that the wearer of that item is also the owner of it. They most often don't think that the item might have been lent. I have other experiences. Most people don't believe it's my phat and want to see it in trade (both on my main and my pure).
  5. Just wanted to answer the question of the thread starter... [hide=Jagex Finance Overview][/hide]
  6. Hey man, they weren't always junk, its not like people just suddenly wanted partyhats, they were always expensive and in demand. Only reason they were considered junk is because everyone came to that consensus and no one wanted to buy crashing items. Ask yourself, did you want a partyhat when they were crashing? Will you want it if it crashes again? And think about this, partyhats used to be a lot more, right before the grand exchange was when partyhats were at their highest. I really can't remember too much the prices of others hats, but I know that blues were going for 600m before the grand exchange came out. When the GE was announced people panicked and sold all their hats and Jagex took those crashed prices as the street price instead of looking at the price pre announcement. Honestly, with how much money is in the game now, I expect partyhats to continue to go up for a veryyy long time. I do think that it sucks that even if you have money they are still impossible to buy. Also, don't bother trying to get in the GE unless you are using a bot, not even kidding. If you don't have you offer in the second the GE updates, you aren't getting one. I did put in an offer for a purple phat around 2-3 mins after the update and got it at the same day so it isn't impossible. Same for a friend who got 2 phats in the last weeks off the ge.
  7. Only if you play in fullscreen. ;) For pvp and combat minigames I also suggest to use the F-keys so you don't have to move the mouse to the button to switch to prayer/inventory/whatever.
  8. For me the loading times are the same on SD and HD. My 3 years old PC can easily handle two RuneScape HD windows at once. I prefer to play in resizeable HD because it uses nearly the same size of the screen but you have more room to click around. And when you close the chat box (and the inventory) you have even more room. By resizing the window to a wide window you can clearly see much more (up to 5 times than SD) and if you resize to a high window you can zoom a little bit in.
  9. Yeah, those PvP updates were happening because players were ranting on the forums... They don't play their game most of their free time but they are typically cb 70-100 which shows they at least played their game for many hours. And if they work all day on the game I can understand if they don't want to play it every evening. :P I can contact them easily (german consultation-hour). They do Q&A's atm and they read most of the RSOF and answer there from time to time. It's obvious they can't answer everything (the RSOF is one of the biggest forums in the internet). And if they lock threads without saying why it's often obvious why they did it. If you don't know why then there's a thread where you can ask for that. They don't support clans atm. That's right but I think they plan something for clans. Follow their rules like a sheeple? Rules are rules. You can follow them or not follow them - your choice but consider the consequences (it's the same for every other game).
  10. That sounds harsh. My picture of Jagex is quite different to yours. They really listen to the players (just look at all the pvp updates this year). They really play their game (FunOrb is a good example for that with the Mod Wars). And thinking they are arrogant, stubborn, controlling etc. is more offending. I don't know any other company which is more community oriented. I'm just playing the free version of the game which I enjoy and I don't have any interest in most of the members content so there's no reason for me to pay for the members version. And I'm sure there are other people who think the same.
  11. 1. Inflation (or exactly ancient statues). 2. Whiners. : 3. Lack of high or end game content. 4. Price manipulation clans (or just scamming). 5. Updates that make the game easier.
  12. Forcing people to pay £3.50 for membership, forcing you into RWT with JAGEX to get a cape, thus breaking one of JAGEX's rules. -.- That idea has been suggested so many times already. They sell the option to get more items with membership not the items itself. Thats not RWT. And you don't have to get the cape.
  13. I doubt you recognize someone walking by if you don't look at the screen...
  14. A similiar question came up in the german JMod consultation-hour. It was about clicking high alchemy without sitting at the computer (with wireless mouse/keyboard or a WLAN remote control). And the JMod said it's against the rules because you don't recognize what's happening on your computer screen. In this case you don't even click something so it must be against the rules.
  15. My second account finally bought a phat. I put in my offer 2-3 min after ge update: It's possible! \
  16. The trick is to be at the GE waiting for it to update and then get your offer in right after (ie within seconds, from what I understand) it updates. How can you be sure it is about to update? You can't. There are people sitting in front of the GE ready to press the button right when the ge updates. I think they even wait hours for that. :D
  17. So you should be rewarded for being inefficient? Do you also think it's inefficient if you play a game on hard instead on normal? My reason for staying f2p is because p2p makes everything easier (and I don't like quests, duh).
  18. They would only have to move the NPCs in a F2P world. So for members there's no need to change anything.
  19. They changed the reqs (dragon pickaxe hint? 61 mining is now 64 mining). ^^ /edit: Ok, no pickaxe. ;)
  20. I speak absolutely no German, so if anyone wants to help translate it more accurately, please do! : So, I'll do my best... Yeah, I know my english grammar isn't the best. :(
  21. If it's a speech bubble then I think it will be a mail system. So you can send others messages when they are offline and get messages like a mailbox.
  22. While I appreciate this was at this specific time, I think Gerhard has mixed up "subscribers" with "accounts". I just highlighted the key word you were missing. Nothing wrong in what he said.
