I think you know the chracter long needs more memory space, to be exact the database gets doubled in size. Maybe, it's too huge for Jagex to store all these values in long. I don't really know how much effort they have to put in to convert all these values. Perhaps they are already planning to change it.

I don't have bunny ears, scythe or some other older holiday items. Yeah, I would like to have some of them but on the other hand I always think "wow" if I see someone who has bunny ears or scythe. And I'm envious, too. Giving the items to everyone would destroy the items by itself because they mean something. They mean you've been playing and enjoying this game for years. So I don't like this idea and I know it will never happen. And the problems of high valued holiday rares is a thing of the past. You can't solve this problem because it's already too late. Get over it, it's just a game!

Wow, good job! I always avoid to go deep into the wilderness. However, if I decide to go there I only carry 3 or 4 items and on the way back I suicide at the next rev I come across - it's faster to die than to run the whole way back. ;)

Smithing - Buy ores and make bars. Runecrafting - Buy essences and craft airs.

If I would lose one part of my wealth I can slowly recover it but if almost everything in my bank vanishs I would take a break. Why? Cause on of my goals for the current year is to accumulate a big cash pile and failing with my goals would disappoint me very much. I always set my goals to something possible and slowly setting higher and higher goals. It's like a game in a game and if I can't reach my goals I would lose the game - plain simple. :P

Jagex doesn't care about anyone reporting rs-fake sites.

They changed interfaces earlier but the changes are not seeable. It happens to be less traffic with the server, better coding or faster functionality. Something like that.

Y'know you're really annoying right? I know, but it's still true. well no, it is false. Jagex stated that items could only rise 5% a day, and a rise of 26% in one day is (if my math proves correct) in fact over 5%. so something must have happended at Jagex hq or else the Ge is just randomly bugging suddenly after being out for over a year... ps. i suggest you dont spam, you are basiclly saying you have no opinion on the matter by not stateing one in eather of your spam posts. I expressed an opinion. Considering the fact that Jagex is now posting all their updates, it seems to me if they did adjust the GE, they would say so. Due to the fact that they haven't, I really don't think that Jagex is doing it. There is also no reason whatsoever that an item's price change should be limited to 5% per day. If that were the case it would gravely limit its functionality as far as supply and demand are concerned. The shifts are well within the working parameters of the GE, in my opinion. The thread was posted as a statement of fact that Jagex is altering prices, however there is no statement from a J-mod to back this up. All we have is prices fluctuating. Therefore, I said that this topic has no discussion value. If it was a discussion about price fluctuations and what may have caused them, then I wouldn't say that. However, since the OP basically made this out to be all Jagex's doing, I don't see what's worth talking about. By the way, The fact that you can only trade within 5% of an item's cost does not mean that's all it can change per day. Jagex rarely loses any words on how the GE works or when they change something of it. It makes sense so nobody abuses such knowledge. Same goes for drop changes of many monsters. There were, are and always will be hidden updates.

A little bit disappointing. I expected alot more cutomization for the spellbook.

That's wrong. The timer is very trustworthy. For example, my bank pin was reset after axactly 3 days on the exact minute (cause I got hacked I had to reset my pin). Same goes with lending. Never felt like the timer does the wrong thing.

Treasure trail items and rares are 2 every four hours. I know it cause I do merchanting with them.

Well, Gertjaars got 500m exp in the last half year. He did 200m FM exp in 2 months. With yews you have to play like 12 hours per day to achieve this. It could be possible for one player but well you can't have a life then.

There are many ways how to do it. Just try it out by yourself. This guide should motivate to do it your own way. ;)

I'll definately take a break when MechScape comes out. If it turns out to be good I'll eventually play less or even quit RS.

There are a few memories I won't forget: 1. Getting full rune in varrock back in the days without GE. 2. El Popo1's maxing out party. 3. Getting my partyhat. 4. Talking with the hacker of my account to delay him from dropping my phat until a JMod locked the account. Close one!

The thing is you don't lose the 20m except you die. So you can always sell the armor if you need the money. So if you have enough money lieing around why not use it?

Oh, nice idea. I sometimes did some emotes between fires but fletching is much more useful. And yeah, random fires over the GE is something I often do, too. :P @je_sui: Well, my playing times are not predictable atm but it's a nice way to challange someone. I did something like this against Expert1212 but I failed. ^^
