Burn 'x' would kill the skill and seems rather dumb to implement. It would be far better to add more things to the skill. A good minigame, more things to light and a new type of damage: incinerate (like poison) to add on weapons. Oh, how about some steam engines? ^^

Yeah, straight lines are boring. But there's so much more possible. Just look at my guide in my signature. The last time I did one full straight line was in the low 80's, now I'm at 30m exp. And for those who want to know, some calculations (assuming we already have ~1m exp in FM, lvl 73): Doing Maples (135 xp ea): Logs ~90k Cost ~3.3m Time ~75h Doing Yews (202.5 xp ea): Logs ~60k Cost ~28m Time ~50h Doing Magics (303.8 xp ea): Logs ~40k Cost ~52m Time ~33h Assuming you burn 1.2k logs per hour (maximum is around 1350 logs).

Shouldn't that be more "newb" then? Hunting red chinchompas is 150k exp/hour maximum (at 99 with arctic bear in a full world having an empty spot - according to Zarfot) and burning maples is 180k exp/hour maximum. So, you're wrong!

I think you're not up-to-date but atm none of the current randoms can stop bots. They had enough time to code their bots to be faster than every player in completing any random.

I hope you can get rid of some useless spells. It's a little bit confusing if you open the spellbook and see 100 spells to choose from. There are many ways you could change the spellbook. Look at the bank change last year. Tabs for spellbook doesn't sound bad. Also some bigger icons would be nice if you choose to erase some spells. I hope Jagex has enough good ideas for it.

Not statisfying? You're ranting on the best skill-wise money maker in F2P because it's too hard. But I have to say it should be hard! I did rune mining. Wearing green d'hide, using range prayer and having some anchovie pizzas, swordfishs and junk food in your inventory is really enough to deal with them. One runite ore covers all the costs of it easily. Ok, you have to world hop if a revenant attacks you but I can live with it because mining runite is still the best skill-wise money maker. RuneScape is already easy enough. Some more challenges don't hurt!

That's only a rumour, nothing more.

If a friend would break the rules I would remind him of his actions and tell him he should stop it so he won't lose his account. If he continues to break the rules I would remove him from my friends list and report him. I'm not a fan of reporting a friend and I'll never do it without talking to him about that. That's the same as I would do in real life.

Nah, it won't be a problem. I played on different PCs in different states or countrys and had never a problem with it. They will only look at it if you logged in on different IPs in a short time range. Imagine someone logs on in the UK and one hour later someone uses the same account in the USA - that would be something Jagex would look at.

Uhm, if you want to do straight lines (i'm getting bored after a few of them) then just start in front of the falador east bank. There's enough space to the left. It saves more run energy... But however GE, Bounty Hunter and Fist of Guthix are all superior to Falador. This Ooglog thing for members is one good place, too.
