On this site now in the last couple of weeks, I click on a thread and it loads nothing but a blank grey screen. No adds, no logo, no thread. This problem seems to hound the same thread for awhile no matter how many times I try to load it. But, after some time (20+ minutes) I seem to be able to read the thread again. Its becoming rather frequent, and its random as to what I can see and not see. Is this something on my end, or a tipit problem?

Probably a clan was playing at the world you were. Try world 2 or 6 for even games between higher levels. I'm a retired veteran.

I can't get 119 no matter if I pot then use the cape effect or use the cape effect and pot. Also, the cape doesnt carry strength bonuses like the fire cape. And to all: believe what you want to, I don't play this game to prove anything to anybody, I just put that out there for all to enjoy. Its real for me, Laikrob, my friends, and all those that posted in my 15 page thread which tracked my progress towards achieveving that. To bad that thread was lost. :(

Somehow I missed this thread until now, but I'll explain why you should believe thats real. The green dot on the screen is Laikrob (shes with TET and has that name on the forums here). She saw the 100 as well and can confirm it for you. How I did it? I brought an inventory full of prayer pots, rock cakes (stolen from ogre city stall), super strs and a couple of super attacks and sharks. I ran over to the lvl 100 shades and allowed them to get my hp to around 5. Then I ran back to the 120 shades. I ate a rock cake, and bang I lose 4 hp everytime. So, if im at 5 hp then i goto 1. I immediately super str pot then go about hitting them. I have about 1 min before my hp goes to 2. Then I have to wait until it reaches 5 again before i can eat a rock cake and then repot and go for max again. Its a slow process as I only get about 1 chance per shade since they only have 110 hp. I hit 50 or something then I can't max on it and it won't stop fighting me till I finish it. I can only get about 4 or 5 fresh shades to fight before I have to wait another 4 minutes to eat a rock cake. Its also a bit nerve racking as I have to be on the constant lookout for the chicken. I carry a couple of sharks to eat up if I see it. As for hitting higher I don't know about that. Getting 100 was a challenge and I was too happy to continue on and risk disaster that day. I haven't tried since because I've been into skills and combat maxing. Also, I haven't seen a public picture of anybody matching or doing better. Well these will most definitely be some kind of sneak preview of whats to come. The last ones turned out that way. But my favorite part is the little dig Jagex included in there. :P

dunno, but you cant hack rs so it doesnt matter He's trying to sell them off for a larger price :x Runescape is off of java which sadly, can be hacked fairly easily. #-o runescape is not written in java, its written in "runescript", the Gowers designed it themselves and it isnt going to get hacked :| Runescape as we get it is in Java code. Runescript is their "easy to work in" / homade program. In the end, they have to convert the content to Java code which by definition is a feature of the runescript program. This conversion process is probably where alot of bugs occur, but thats just speculation on my part.

Your the first person I know to get a left half from a dwarf. I got one from a troll, but dwaves... :-k

The telekenetic maze is the only real draw back to the mage training place. All them laws, and such slow xp (20k an hr). Other than that, its quite good. You can easily get 70 to 80k an hr at the enchant rune plus free deaths and bloods in exchange for some cheapo cosmics that can be double crafted at low rc level (59 maybe). You can get 100 to 120k an hr at the alch room and get well over 135 xp per nat. The graveyard is just fast even though its xp is cabbage. You can make a killing off selling infinity pieces as very few pieces are brought into the game by players. (this you have learned first hand) If you rc your runes and train there you'll do quite well. Certainly better than pouring money into bloods/souls/ and deaths or casting stun/high alch/cammy tele till you bleed. I got about 8 mil xp and almost 2 complete sets of infinity with books there.

I didn't see infinity amongst the submissions so here is my screenshot. Infinity set plus mage book, fury, magic achievement cape, and water battlestaff.

All of the top players grace this forum, as they are information hungry in the quest to stay ahead. Whether they post or not is a different story. I was amazed to see my name in this thread several times. I just claim first to hit 100 in dharoks. And thats not worth much other than a load of fun I had doing it. :) My nominee for best at "shameless self-promotion and self-aggrandizing through t-shirts, a guide, and his own guild with forums", Axe Man Jack. :P Just get yourself a 99 slayer coffee mug and your all set. ;)

No i haven't. But the other emotes have never worked. This is just something new that Jagex overlooked.

Entertaining if not buggy pics. I did the magic cape emote as a monkey and it doesnt look too bad. You can just see the glowing halo and stars that surround me. Another person there had the prayer one. He showed me. It was a little buggy as the wings flapped way above his head. Anybody else play with this, I've only tried magic cape?

Anyone with 78 can get an easy plus 6 from tea and the crystal saw which will build. But, thats still probably only less than 2k players. The fact that you have to put the whole set in there stinks hard. Also it blows that you need 90 con to get a rack to hold more than 5 skill capes. Now I gotta go out buy a marble block and get a bunch of stews to put that in so I dont have to store 2 capes in my bank...

1. You did pretty good in terms of items. I'm lucky to get one every 50 runs or so. Most of your profit was on racks and runes. This is why I and so many other high levels that still go there melee (verac or whip) the barrows. Deaths, chaos, bloods, and racks are what you really make money on. Items are a treat, and only a few of them still bring in decent money. 2 Please no more of this or prayer rates have increased.... Luck does crazy things to perception. I doubt that karil has ever been changed since day 1. Whats funny for me is that I think karil has better melee defense than ahrim and I use my dagger specs on ahrim instead and whip karil. 3. Did you spear the melee brothers? They arent weak to barrows weapons. I verac them, but it can be a little bit of a grudge match sometimes. 4. Half of the xp to 99 is spent getting those last 7 measely levels. 99s aren't incredibley better than 92s, so they are mainly for show and I wouldn't discount your abilities. Jagex made it a little harder by letter verac do his thing but only after they made it alot easier by letting you find the last brother at the chest. I remember before that update spending alot of the time their just searching for that last brother. If you want a challenge forget the prayer pots. I've varaced the place with no prayer and got in grudge matches with dharok in tight places. When he has a tiny bit of health left and starts hitting them 50s it gets mighty interesting. :ohnoes:

With energy pots it's more like 60-65k per hour, never failing from 74 and on. It was a while ago that I trained there, but I seem to remember getting randoms there. Especially the evil chicken ticked me off since combat forces your gree-gree out of your hands making you human. Just was there yesterday, been there for last week or so working from 83 to 85 and beyond. Haven't seen a random as a monkey all week. And I acutally checked the xp over 1 hr and it was 45k. No way your getting that 60k anywhere for agility.

Ape atoll, 45k per hr with super energy pots and never fail at 84 agility or get randoms.

I would like to wear the agility cape one day. I think that would be the rarest of capes to be displayed. Lots of people seek 99 prayer, slayer, and rc even though they are tougher. But, hardly anybody goes for 99 agility due to the percieved lack of reward compared to other skills.

All the queries sent in about skills other than defense helping (range, agility, magic) have been responded to with a big no that I've seen. Its just defense and the things that you wear that matter.

If you keep complaining I'll request that the shilo guy give you 200 suqah with those amazing guam leaf drops. :twisted: I wish we could get 200 iron dragons again, the mask makes it nice and they have the best drops of all... :cry:

I have had 2 abyssal demon tasks ever and I'm 1 mil slayer xp past 85. Your lucky to have had so many abyssal demon tasks. I only get whips if I camp there for 6+ hrs.

My full infinity with mage book and my fire cape because I got all those things myself through work and determination.
