1. No joy. I can move them, but I can't open them. Note that the "new" icon has changed to "read" though :?
2. I recently recieved two PM's regarding my report of a topic. Presumably the two staff members both opened the report before either of them sent the pm (although I don't actually know how the topic report system works) The funny thing is, I can't open either of the messages. When I try, I get redirected back to my inbox. I got email notifications of the messages and they have the "unread" icon, but in the site header it says I have no new messages. The IDs of the messages (if it's of any help) are 427561 and 427562. It's no big deal to me, but if it happens too many times it could become a problem. :-k
3. This has already been suggested ;)
4. ergh. The most recent post regarding fansite security was indeed the one that misplacedme mentioned, but that has nothing to do with keyloggers. The most recent memory I have of a keylogger in a major fansite was some considerable time ago.
5. I agree with misplacedme. The ranks are just a bit of fun. I think with the ranks you suggested, people would be more likely to spam to get higher.
6. They're related to RuneScape items and statuses. It's kind of odd that they sometimes refer to items that exist (chicken feather), sometimes to ones that don't (ghost cloak?) sometimes to places (Scorpion Pit) and sometimes to actual descriptions of players (Black Knight Trainer.)
7. IIRC it was Zybez, but it wasn't because they did it on purpose, it was because someone cracked their site and planted the keylogger in their toolkit. However, this is only a very faint memory :-k
8. From a quick survey around the place, it seems to me that the default phpBB theme (subSilver,) and the great majority of other themes for phpbb, all have the submit button on right. vBulletin's default theme also has the submit button on the right. However, Invision Power Board's default theme has submit on the left. I wonder why they decided to be so ugly and different. (Btw, Phpbb, vbulletin and IPB are the three most common forum software packages.) If you use a cool browser like Firefox you could probably do some custom stylesheet floating to switch them around.. although I wouldn't know quite how to do it.
9. This has been mentioned before. I am discussing this with other Wikipedians.
10. You ought to be able to hear the music in other browsers too :-? Which other browser were you using? What version? What OS do you have?
11. Which forum style are you using?
12. Thanks very much :) No problem with the "time permitting" stuff :) Volunteer = you have unlimited time.
13. The new smilies which have square brackets in them ([-X [-o< 8-[ and [-() cause errors if they are added before a quote that includes the source. eg. Copy and paste this into a new topic/reply/pm and hit "preview" [-o<
Oh noes!
Suggest changing them to :wavefinger:  :anxious: and :stubborn: although it's probably best to leave the old ones so old posts don't look odd. But if the changed ones are the default, most people will just insert the emoticons from the sidebar javascript stuff anyway.

sig test

Your signature automatically updates in all your previous posts, so you can just look at one of your old posts to "test" your signature ;)
15. Albosky: Yeah I know ;) I'm looking up info on the smilies_row and smilies_col stuff now :-k
16. What're users for, right? :P No need for that, all the fiddling can be done by me ;) Of course obviously an admin would actually have to be the one uploading the files, but I suppose you could always give me ftp access... :P Example screenshot: Example page: http://justcameron.com/temp/tifsmilies/example/ The changes: [*:jgpua6nv]Make the box less wide (don't think that's really an issue anyway with the large banner ads, anyone under 800x600 is going to get horizontal scrollbars regardless) [*:jgpua6nv]Use a div and css margins (semantic markup) [*:jgpua6nv]Reduce page filesize by about 1kb (that's not much.. but multiply it by x thousand posts per day...) [*:jgpua6nv]Make it look "neater" - the original purpose [*:jgpua6nv]Have been tested in Firefox 2.0, IE 6 and Opera 8.5Now I just gotta see if I can implement it so it automagically adds new smilies (that are added with the admin CP) ..otherwise it might just be static :-? Thoughts?
17. Can we get some closure here please? Just throw an announcement on the main page with the extent of the intrusion so we can all be happy?
18. And that's really because of something to do with the ipod isn't it? Like Zen mp3 players have some sort of anti-losing feature built in do they?
19. They can find out which company you use for your internet (your ISP.) They can find out which general area you live in (like.. generally down to a city. In regional areas you would only be able to narrow it down to a much larger area though.) But really it's nothing to be worried about. Everyone you send an email to knows your IP, every website you've ever visited knows your IP. Note however, that if you're breaking laws on the internet or whatever and the police contact your ISP, your ISP is required by law to give the police your details. So don't go breaking the law ;)
20. Not if it's addressed to his parents. They pay the school fees.
21. Won't everyone get slain my highwaymen, goblins and barbarians? :-k
22. This is the reason why I want to set up a good anonomizer, so I wouldn't have to do this.Get Firefox \ Personally, with Firefox, a firewall and antivirus, I don't understand why you'd need to "anonymize" :-?
23. Unfortunately you'll find that your image is over the forum signature size limits Icingdeath [-X I cropped the height down to 175 and reduced the size to 30,000 bytes :)
24. Why don't you just post what it says here?
