  1. You might want to check the myspace TOS, but otherwise, anything you create is automatically covered by copyright.
  2. To clarify what cruiser said, PHP is a server-side programming language, HTML is a client-side markup language. Their purposes are quite different.
  3. Probably to do with your browser's encoding options. It's usually best to just stick with English if you can read it (which presumably you can, since you can write it.)
  4. Want to express your creativity or make a collection of funny quotes? Set up your own website ;)
  5. Right click on shortcut (or create a shortcut to the application, I don't know how to do it for an exe file) -> properties -> shortcut tab -> Run Maximised :)
  6. http://wordpress.com http://livejournal.com the list goes on Purchasing some hosting is always way cooler than free hosting btw.
  7. Mozilla Firefox is irrelevant to Denismage's problem. Try getting/reinstalling the latest version of Java - http://www.java.com/getjava
  8. About as hard as http://google.com So yeah, if they've got a bit of geek in them, they'll be quite able to look up methods of blocking sites and work out that you modified the HOSTS file. If you have a router or a firewall, you could use that to block ebay - often these come with password protection options. You're still not really solving the problem though, the person will probably find other ways to shop online, whether it be using other online auction sites, or going to an internet cafe or a public library. You could talk to your bank about the account they're using to purchase stuff. But in the end, the best thing to do is to get some professional help - find yourself a counsellor and work through it.
  9. Less! Less. Please! 3 lines, all in size 7, and 300x150 image/s with max filesize of 30,000 is what I'd like :P Don't want to wear out my scrolling finger.
  10. You didn't know Firefox was open source? :o I don't really know if you're ready to hack Firefox given your previous questions. First of all you need to get the source - you can get source archives from the ftp server, or use cvs. Once you've got that far, you need to build it (C++ is a compiled language) which has a bunch of required software and is pretty complicated. Once you've actually built it, you might consider making modifications...
  11. Fwiw, updating your profile doesn't affect your post count at all.
  12. High quality, useful guides go on the tip.it/runescape website.
  13. Walk a different way to school?
  14. No ogg vorbis files? :( Open source ftw :(
  15. Update to the latest version of your Operating system. If you're using windows, use http://windowsupdate.com What web browser are you using? IE6 with Windows SP2 already has an in-build popup blocker. After updating your OS, get get Firefox - it blocks popups by default (more accurately than IE) as well as being a totally sweet web browser. (A web browser is like Internet Explorer.. of course you can use IE and Firefox at the same time, and Firefox can be easily uninstalled if you don't like it, but I bet you will :D) It's also faster than IE at loading web pages, it's got a far better security track record (vulnerabilities in it are patched within days, rather than the months that it takes Microsoft to fix IE), it's themeable and extendable, and easily customisable. It's got an integrated search bar for easy searching and it also supports web standards far better than IE. Enough reasons? Don't believe me? Just download it and try it out, you'll never look back ;) It's 100% free of course.
  16. As pokemama clearly stated, the Tip.it Crew works on the tip.it/runescape websites, NOT on the forums.
  17. Don't focus so much on your post count - it's not an accurate measure of anything at all.
  18. It needs to be moved to a private forum rather than deleted so it can be used as evidence in bans & ban appeals.
  19. Jeppe: no no no, I wasn't having a go at you or anything, I was just pointing out that the staff already has some leeway for personal information when they know the community member is older than the average tip.it-er. I fully support removing such information when the user isn't known to be old(er) (ie. if unknown user, remove.)
  20. Hey, guess what Jeppe? In 3 minutes I can get Bubsa's RL name and photo, Nadril's real name, Mercifull's real name and photo, and Weezcake's photo, first name and highschool, just by visiting their homepages. These are all prominent community members and Weezcake is a moderator. I don't advocate removing such information.. go google for any of their names and hey presto. It's just not realistic to remove such information when it's available with a simple username search on google.. What's my point here? Basuically you can't treat teenagers and adults like children. Ps. Is that Albosky I see?!
  21. There all all number of applications that will read the internet to you.
  22. I've heard a lot of criticisms of Fasterfox. Everything it does you can do manually by tweaking your preferences in the link I gave previously. As for firetune.. probably the same thing applies.
  23. To speed up Firefox, you don't need an extension, you want to tweak your preferences. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Category:Tweaking_preferences When you say broadcast radio stations.. do you really mean broadcast? Do you perhaps mean receive? As for a music player with your choice in genre - http://pandora.com/
