  1. Nobody has suggested Hunter yet :P Costs about 50gp for the traps and you make 35m from the chins :)
  2. Oops, I bought 20k gold bars at 210 each a month ago :P. Meh I still made a load of profit on them :) To me it seems that Jagex have a downer on obscene personal wealth for players (not for the Gowers) and seem to want to encourage players to train their skills more broadly. I am in the middle of creating 20,000 ruby bracelets. After creation I can use high alchemy to gain decent magic experience and wealth from my hard concentrating and clicking. High alchemy is easier in this case than trying to flog them to other players, and the magic xp is just what I need : In answer to the question; Yes I believe they have. I also think that they have put a fair amount of thought into the price limits on each item and only time will tell if they've made the right decisions.
  3. They aren't bots. I used to have conversations with the English speaking ones :) They are farmers
  4. 1 def is ok, just stay out of melee range
  5. i think thats exactly how it will go, i feel summoning is a magic type deal. so it probably will be a flowing robe armor. summoning might also be a strange new skill, it could have armor specifically designed for its use, and then have insane negatives to all the other classes. I'm not so sure that is will be in its own 'class', and not just assisting the current three. I would like more combat classes though =P~
  6. Ruby bracelets for me :)
  7. I like Ogres in King Lathas' training camp (Biohazard quest needed) :)
  8. That would be the most common problem with quitting. That and friends too :(
  9. Yea I HIGHLY doubt that you can catch 400 an hour. Whether you are by yourself or with a group of people (which I hear speeds up exp) It takes 100% concentration to catch 400 at 99... and even thats a stretch... I know people with 99 hunting I know the information. :-w Yea he completely exaggerated on that. At 89 Hunt i was only catching 270-290 an Hour completely focused. Just got 90 hunt w00t! That's what I was getting at 77-78..
  10. Exactly. When less longs are being bought the price will go down. :P I was sure that I've seen a topic stating that the minimum price was set by the GE at 704 gp. This would mean that yew longs won't be available for cheap magic xp.
  11. It has been indeed slowed to a normal crossbow speed. Now they're not that great. The only reason they were good was their speed and price. Now it's just the price. Another thing to note is the poor ranged attack bonus the bone crossbow gives compared to the rune crossbow and magic shortbow. I personally prefer Crystal or Knives however.
  12. This looks about what I was looking for. That's wrong, I'll correct it here (from my experiance anyway): At 63 you catch 120 an hour in that range. In the 70s you are up to about 250. In the 80's easily upto 350 an hour. 90's I would say upto 420 an hour. Of course I am only 81 so I can't really comment on the 80s or 90s, but my record so far was 321 in an hour.
  13. Hmm, I couldn't find a safespot down there. I tried to train there when going for 99 range a long time ago - when the german servers were added. There may be however a safespot that I couldn't find :( I can't remember looking for too long. Maybe you can fire across the pool o_O
  14. Magic is not just a combat skill. Lunars are geared up to aid skilling, only Ancients are meant just for combat. I saw this coming, and have stocked up on ruby bracelets. I'm making 80k crafting XP and hour, costing me 1.1k to make and alching for nearly 1.4k. With the current price of natures I make 50gp by alching them :) Unfortunately more people than me have noticed this trick and rubies have risen too much and are now unprofitable when alching the product. It takes me 2 hours to make and alch 1,000 bracelets so that is an average of 70k (40k Crafting + 30k Magic) experiance per hour : Also don't knock the 25k GP an hour profit :P
  15. It took me 3 accounts to get going; The first died in Draynor Manor, those darn trees! The second to a giant rat next to Varrock's East mine. I didn't know how to get the items that I had lost back so I just started again :)
  16. Just get 59 mage.. :?
  17. I am hoping that they change the level limits on BH, as it would mean that I can't train summoning on my tank without breaking 100 combat :x
  18. What did you expect? It to get rarer? Yeah, I didn't word that too well ;). I'm just annoyed at the amount of people who ask me if I used chins to train, then when I answer no ask me if I used PC. #-o Care to explain how?
  19. I'm attempting to mine, bank, smelt then craft 15,000 gold ores! Right now I'm using the 6 rocks on Brimhaven, glory to edge, house tele. My house is located about 20-30 squares away from the mine. It takes me 15-20 seconds to bank and return to mining. My record is 231 ores in an hour so far but my average is more like 210. Add me and we can race, that always keeps me focessed :)
  20. This changed in April 2006 :P
  21. I got 99 before all the new easy training methods made it alot easier. It annoys me how my precious 99 is becoming less rare
  22. Really? Can you show me some proof? :P Here's a guide. Thanks :)
