Why are you so afraid of revenants?
i feel they are much more of an annoyance then a pker, as i have never seen a pker and been attacked by 1 in the random areas of the wilderness since 6months of the introduction of ancients

Hmmm, Bandos Boots fubared? Boots discussion
they wont, bandos boots is just that, a copy or similar item to what bandos wore. however, dragon boots are made of dragon metal. bandos armor however is just his armor, not a metal type. this can be concluded through examine of both boots and the fact that bandos plate will allow for arrow accumulation for people to expect it to have a strength bonus is natural, but flawed. sure, climbing boots have str bonus but thats a special quest related item, specifically for climbing certain things(which are? i cannot remmeber). and yes i do think dragon would just be how climbing boots were to rune boots when they finally got the +2 str bonus, a cheap alternative. but in this case the +1 def really probably would have a much less signifcant factor then the rune boots vs climbing boots. I agree that we shouldn't really be treating Bandos Armour as a metal grade. The chart in the first post is slightly misleading. However, the inconsistency here is that the rest of the Bandos armour provides strength bonuses. Plenty of people wear armoured boots (I know that they did wear them before they got the strength bonus upgrade, but they wear them much more because of the strength improvement) to get a nice little strength bonus as an addition to their armour set, so why is it that a strength focusing portion of a strength focused armour set gets no strength bonus whatsoever? The inconsistency is massive. A +3 or +4 str bonus would make much more sense. when considering the fact that the rest of the set gave a str bonus, we must consider that a tasset is +2 str and nearly 3times if not more then 3times the defensive stats. in all actuality, it should have +1 str bonus if you had asked me in fairness

Astral Runecrafting Profitable?
i bought some 2 weeks ago in ge for roughly the 180 price, no way it did a wild [wagon] dip like that and back.
-
2 weeks after.....
After watching Death Note, people tend to become emo/gothic or addict to the candy... what a weird [wagon] thing to say... care to explain how they disrespected their customers?

Is there a "true" training method?
Basically anything that is not power trained in my opinion. Power trained=no respect=false cape i super potted all my exp from 95-99 attack and def. is THAT power training? your definition is a bit vague. sure, chinchompas might not be the most respected way of doing things for range, i my self have 500k chinchompa experience i used for testing purposes. but all in all, i use addy bolts and crystal bow for a good deal of ranged exp.

A whole new world of items...
damn it, now i have to reconsider some things. however i do not see the higher end equiptment to be as good, because face it bandos and barrows feels like a rough start to the end of the equiptment design. sure things could become better and such, but we are starting to explore previously untouched options. personally? i believe summoning will be some what of a "robbed" type of armoring perhaps double the negatives to melee armor as mage gets? just an idea since people has spoke of things

Would jagex ever make runescape full screen?
use opera for that, trust me... way amazing its like MP11's movies when you set to full screen [hide][/hide]
-
Would jagex ever make runescape full screen?
it might give the option to, but purely fullscreen, i dont think so. w/e i can wait. you should really try opera and use the F11, with lowered RES for full screen

New eggs being introduced for summoning
Wow now thats hardcore preparation. I was thinking about getting around 50 but 400 will definitely pay off. I have 1014 chicken eggs but those will probably give really low amounts of exp lol... :( For some reason I doubt you will be able to hatch those. There are 7 eggs in the spoiler, chicken, red, blue, green, unknown, vulture and raven. the "chicken" egg you speak of seems slightly more "orange-ish" then the chicken eggs, or it seems that way to me. perhaps its that orange little lizard? its a thought, they just seem more tan in game then orange. oh well, we will know in less then a month are these pictures not working?

Merchanting not dead?!?!
yes, ash merchanting can be very effective...

New eggs being introduced for summoning
vulture eggs are much more common... and currently MTK eggs are hard to come by or so they are in my experiences...

Digsite+New Island=Summoning?
its to, blurry i guess. for me to say it is or not. could this possibly be the island for the varrock museum? Looking at it, it seriously looks like a yak, or big cow. But it could be an island set up like that, i mean, an island shaped like a summoning familiar for summoning, sounds plausible. the dragging belly really does not seem ti imply cow to me, and the "horn" seems... un cow like. as well as the "ridge" on the back.. still stickin to its not a cow. as for island, still on the ropes it was suggested and i ran with that, i think it could be an island because its from distance it could represent the color variants of the grounds i would call that following as posted above as possible. but not saying im going to say for sure at this time.

Summoning Level : Combat Ratio |||| 138 cmb = 95 summoning?
Wouldn't THAT be great, but I fear as they are designed to annoy even the highest level players Jagex will adjust them for the update....  i thought that as well, w/e. jagex said this is going to be a challenging skill to raise, i hope its not as "challenging" as construction

RANGE-Scape!???
i did some range training with grays as testing theories, and i cross referenced it with muggi. reds surely are the fastest, but gray are the cheap fast method. muggi was averaging 200 exp per red, and then he was averaging 170 with gray. me, personally on probably my worst testing experience i got 168 exp per chin. but you know, i dont like chins all that much i prefer using metal bolts.

Prices crashing down because of GE?
great for clue scrolls isnt it? i hate making blue dhide chaps and junk, i usually alch after wards
-
Hello? What happened?
Hmm i accidentally alched one of my skill capes by accident a few weeks ago and it gave me about 50k from the alchemy. :-s it would not be that the quest cape cannot be alched only? is it? like i said, been some months ive nearly been 124 combat for a year now and i got rid of my duplicate quest cape when i got 99 def.
-
Hello? What happened?
ive tried alching my quest cape, cant be done. it was some months ago.

Bone Bow Slowed?!~
Not true, bone cross bow was whip speed speed, hunter is MSB speed and metal xbows are metal xbows speed (haven't check what melee weapon it's similar to :P ) Hunter --> Bone ---> Metal Is how it used to be. Bone cross bows made range levels way too cheap anyway, they deserved a nerf, 99 range was slowly becoming less impressive. If someone wanted speed and a one handed bow hunter bow was always the better choice anyway, especially after GE. It was a nerf that did the skill good overall. i think you mean bone>hunter>metal. i personally never used it all that much i couldnt even tell their was an actual difference in speed when i changed it after it was suggested by muggi, then i saw it on the weapon speed page and i recall it being higher the metal crossbows and i then knew for sure it was changed. either way, it was faster then metal crossbows. i thought it was same as hunter, i dunno i still dont know. point is, its slower just wanted to answer it straight forward because this thread got really off topic.

So I snal mailed Jagex..
Now that sounds interesting...If I lived in London I probably would of already done that... Actually, if I lived in London, I would of tried to work for Jagex by now. I thought Jagex HQ was located in Cambrigde? Most americans think 'London' IS 'England' Or maybe he/she simply meant london was near it.. kindof.. so.. could visit there. Passing through london? I live near cambridge myself and meet friends there sometimes. To the OP, I am suprised you even got an auto message. Can we NOT start making stereotypes about Americans, however "true" they may be..? true, i have never met any1 who did not know london was a town and england was a country... seriously? you have had this problem? people around the world are shocking
