Armless, One Legged Man In A Car Chase Escapes Police.
yup, and I am sure those "serious skills" would be able to handle losing control of his vehicle at 120 mph during a high speed chase. Funny how cars become hard to control when you have a tire blow out at 120, be interesting to see how the stumps grip the wheel and counter steer to maintain control.....pretty funny when that idiot loses control and hits another car head on, could be your family...funny huh? we can not shoot tires, endangers the public, we can not continue to pursue without higher authority, and that's only granted when there is a 100% certainty that the driver is a fleeing violent felon, who would be a greater risk to the public if we terminate the pursuit. Most seargents will terminate high pursuits because they don't want to be held responsible for any innocents being hurt during the pursuit. Even if the suspect is the only one who gets hurt, he or his family can sue the city, the police and the individual officer because he got hurt, when all he did was break a speeding law or two. Got to love our system. We also can't shoot at the car, and if we do, we get fired at minimum. Reserve Police Officer, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Jax Fl. USA

The war in iraq, What do you think we should do?
We found everything it takes to build the bomb, but the bomb itself, maybe we should have just waited until they finished the job and launched it at our allies or us before we responded. Then the world would have said "but you had evidence and intel that they were building them and you didnt stop it from happening?" we can't win, danged if we do, danged if we don't. Having just came from the streets of Bahgdad, spending 8 months in country walking streets, kicking in doors, chasing bad guys.......it IS a war, don't belive the media hype led by the bleeding heart, spineless liberals. If we were fighting the country, it would have been done in 40 days, just like the last country over here who thought they would bring their "million man army" against us. peeking under each turban and trying to identify who the bad guys are is a bit harder. Current policy requires us to walk around, wait to be fired upon, so we can identify who the enemy is. Try doing that for a year....builds character. ....our excuse to occupy a country? you need to wake up and smell reality. If we wanted to occupy it, we could and would. We wouldnt be walking around waiting to be shot at, while we train their soldiers, and try to help them develop a working government, build schools and establish order. Occupiers take over, and raise their flag in it's place. If it was aboout oil, as some other weak minded insist, we would have bombed the city, and set up a gas pump, hasnt happened either. wake up. Senior Chief Petty Officer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team, Iraq.

buying a fury with rune ore?
interesting, i remember buying a fury day it was released, equipped it, laughed and sold it a day later. Being a strength fiend, I wear the strength ammy....who needs the small amount of defense? bah. I don't even know why they call it the fury, should be called the "rock" ammy, "Defense++ ammy" or something along those lines. since it's really just a glorifed and overpriced defense ammy. calling it "fury" was like false advertising.....furious is more along the line of how I felt after finding out its stats. but hey if you like having one of everything, then sure, it's a nice bauble, and it at least has stats, unlike the paper hat craziness. but outstanding job figuring out a way to get one cheaper, very intuitive. Shows you're thinking out of the box, and thats the makings of a champion. happy gaming

Where do you go when Noobs are about.
I usually just ignore bothersome players, irregardless of their level. However if I want to be left alone, I lurk in elfland and wack magics. :)

Why doesn't anyone ever play with private chat on?
my private is off 99% of the time, and I usually only turn it on when meeting someone for a trade off of the forums....why? I am typing challenged, meaning i must look at the keyboard when three finger typing, and I have almost died several times doing so. I keep public on so if someone talks to me I dont appear rude, but usually I am multi tasking anyway. the other reason is it seems a ton of ppl have me added, if I turn it on I get blasted with 14 pms, then I am trying to peck away and play catch up...thus my game goes from getting experience, to chatting...which is challenging 3 fingers at a time :) just to much for this old man, so i prefer to keep public on, and private off unless I want to send a quick wave to someone, or am trading.

Lord Krohn returns from Iraq - slayer 99 goal
Greetings all, I deployed to Iraq last Oct (2006) and with the exception of occasionally being able to log in and browse tipit, have been unable to play RS. I could not play due to military computers do not allow any types of downloads. #-o anyway, I am making my way across the world as I type this, and will return in a month. So I have thought long and hard about what I want to do first. Finish leveling range even though I never ever use it? Finish mage to 99? hmmmmm ooooooh I have to get some of those new trimmed capes first of all :) SO I have decided to train slayer until it is 99  and along the way, train one of my most hated skills....agility :-X *gags at the thought*, only because the shortcuts available at 81 agility are very helpful to slaying. So my plan is to train one hour at Ape Atoll on agility per day, then slay the remainder of my available play time. I use melee primarily as it kills the fastest, and I intend to use my dragon scimmy for speed or Dharoks depending on what I am fighting, and either one will always be on strength. I was ranked 299 in strength when I left, and I am sure it has plummeted since. It was around 19+ million exp (strength) so I want to work that rank back up as I train slayer. \ In case you have been a tipiter for awhile and wondering why my name sounds familiar, I wrote the "Combat 100 in 4 months, 123 in 12 months" thread on Rate this forum back in 2005, that got me a little name recognition within the game, which was always kinda nice. Anyway, see everyone soon and looking forwad to good old food in the USA, a real gym, my family, my car and a little RS late at night to pass the time. Peace

Your Highest Rank on Highscores?
havent played or checked high scores since Oct 2006 (deployed in Iraq at the moment, return in 30 days woohooo) but I was at level 299 in strength (19+ million exp in strength), I am sure it has plummeted since then. :( I'll rectify that when i get back hehe :XD: :uhh: :ohnoes:

Why do you hate Agility?
ugh...agility, one of my MANY long neglected skills, one in which I once said I would train when Hades froze over.....yet when I return from Iraq next month (woooooooooot) I intend to train slayer until its 99 (ugh) and I figured out that having 81 agility would assist that due to all the shortcuts, especially the one to the abbys. The thought of trainng it gives me the shudders *gag* so my plan is to go toape atoll and train it one hour a day, then off to slay, figure that way I can slowly raise it, without drooling on the keyboard.

I'm better than you!
true ...on another point....um....your signature is rather...um "interesting" since it shows you have 99 in every stat, considering that in accordance with the high score table, you don't have a single 99 in any skill, in fact your highest is only 84, care to explain? I never pick on anyones stats, your stats are your stats, what level they are depends on how you wish to play your game, and what stats interest you, and how much you play.........making up fake ones on the other hand is a bit lame, IMHO :) :XD: :uhh: Anywho...happy clicking.

9/11 Evidence?
Thanks, haven't had oppotunity to be on boards for a bit, just spent some more time crawling the streets in happyland. Back on board the carrier for some R&R. A lot of people have uneducated opinions about what's going on here, and the severely biased media plays what sells the most hype. Just the nature of the beast. Media's horrible, but it's the only source Americans use sadly. I believe the army actually has a YouTube account with videos that show a better perspective on things. location Dubai huh, we went there 3 times so far, only safe place to hang out over here, that big shark fin looking hotel is ridiculous :) the whole place is booming, new construction everywhere for miles, all fancy skyscrapers.....you should see the two big malls here, one has an indoor skiing slope for heavens sake, and the inside looks like outside, stars in the ceiling, and each store front looks like the front of a eurpoean street. Each hall is a different country motif, freaking wild. Food isn't to great though, I went to the Tony Romas and ordered a rack of ribs...to this day I dont know what animal it was...probably camel rofl. wide flat ribs....*gag*......pretty wild in Dubai....money everywhere.

9/11 Evidence?
The "Reason" you ask for is above. It's clearly outline in PNAC documents. The media is involved. They reported on "Operation Iraqi Freedom"...as if all of Iraq was a giant slave camp. More than half a million innocent Iraqis have died since the US invasion and occupation This is an example of media bias. How much coverage does the miraculous collapse of WTC7 get on the media? None. Zero. Zip. And do you know how amazing it is for a skyscraper to collapse? It's pretty amazing. And it's not as if the collapse of WTC7 was even mention in the "9/11 Commission Report" the supposed authoritive document on the terrorist attacks. The government has yet to explain how it fell. This is big news. But the media is silent. This is an example of media blackout. Now I don't agree with you that the "Biggest disaster would be to give any information to the media". By giving reports to the media that WTC7 was on fire, that it was nearing collapse, etc...it suggests to people that the collapse was plausible. The footage was only played once on TV while the collapse of the twin towers was played over and over again. The government doesn't need to black out the media completely, a little misinformation goes a long way. Allow me to clarify something for you..We don't have media blackout in America. We don't have Media control in America....wish we did sometimes...you can't hide crap from these story hungry vultures...not Monica Lewinsky, not the blue dress, not Abu Grahbi, nothing...they ferret out every single thread of a story, and when in doubt, they make it up as they go along, anything for a headline....so if you seriously think we blew up our own buildings with innocent men, women and children inside, just to incite the world, and gather support for a "War for Oil" you might want to reconsider. You can surf the net and find a conspiracy theory for everything...they can show you convincing evidence that the world is flat, we never landed on the moon, the great flood really happened, and the moon is made of green cheese...at some point you got to use your noggin. Don't believe the hype. and on your Iraqi comment..how much time you spent in Iraq? I have been here now since November of 2006...eye opening experience if I do say so. We aren't killing the innocent...they are killing each other, they have no problem leaving their kids in the car, and walking away to blow it up just to kill a few of their own people, and maybe even an american or two. They leave their kids in the car now, so we don't suspect it is a bomb. Before we got here, hundreds of thousands were massacred at the whim of a madman.....oh by the way, he's dead now and so are his sons. They assaulted, abducted and murdered many many people. Speak not of what you know little of.
