I am a cooper institute certified physical fitness specialist, and I do consulting on a daily basis. Dont read Muscle and fiction magazines and expect to look like that after following ronnie coleman's workout for a month. Either pm me or reply here if you want, your short term/long term goal, an example of what you eat, how much and how often, and what you do for physical fitness at this point. If you want to bulk up, cut up, get fit, lose weight or whatever I need to know that also. Couple tips for everyone else, whether you are over weight or under weight a hard gainer or weight retainer...understanding how the bodies metabolic system works is the key, along with knowing when and what to eat, and how to workout. Example....someone who wants to lose weight needs to cut out everything fried, and don't eat ranch dressing, sour cream, blue cheese dressing, cheese, or mayo because they are 100% fat. one tablespoon of mayo is 100 calories, and all 100 are derived from fat. 3500 calories is a lb of fat. Fast food is generally about 55% pure fat, so stay away from them. They also need to eat 6 times a day..oh my god if I do that I will get huge...um no...when you eat, your metabolism (calorie burning rate) goes up. If you only eat one or two times a day, your metabolism slows down, and thus when you do eat, most of it gets stored because the body is in a fasting mode...it doesn't store it as muscle, it stores it as fat...fat is stored energy, only way it will go away is by being burnt up through exercise and raising your metabolism to burn it at a faster rate. Now that doesnt mean you can eat 6 huge meals, not what I am saying...let's say you exercise 3-5 times a week and want to lose the weight aggressively, then you go for 1600 calories a day, as an example: 0700 breakfast 500 calories 0930 snack 100 calories 1100 lunch 400 calories 230pm snack 100 calories 6pm dinner 400 calories 730 pm snack 100 calories if as a 20 yo male you live an active lifestyle, thus between what your body is burning on a daily basis and how much you burn through working out, lets say you use up ...oh...2100 calories a day, then by being on a 1600 calorie balanced diet, you are burning up 500 more calories a day then you are taking in, thus you are losing (500 calories times 7 days) 3500 calories a week...or one pound of fat per week, 52 lbs in a year. So when you hit your ideal weight, you adjust the calories up until you maintain your ideal weight.....understand? You also cannot spot reduce, it is impossible, you lose and gain weight throughout the body, so doing 500 situps wont make your stomach smaller, if anything it will get a bit bigger because you are building muscle tissue under that layer of fat, thus your waist size got bigger.another way to raise your metabolism is to do your cardio in the morning first thing if possible, it keeps your metabolic rate higher for the remainder of the day, and remember the first 15 mins are not burning fat, your body is using it's blood glucose (sugar level in blood) for energy, once that is gone it converts fat stores for energy, now you are losing the fat...so do at least 30-40 mins....anyway i digress, impossible to cover everything here, this was just an example, pm me or reply here, I will reply as soon as I can, the more info I have, the better fitness/nutrition guide I can set you up with.

If it had, they would have ALL DROWNED....can you visualize the simplicity of this? Let alone their is no worldwide fossil record of a massive killing of every land based life, a big slurry of mixed up bodies that would have occurred with a world wide flood......interesting how we have fresh water lakes, freshwater fish and non salted lands which flourish with vegatation to this day...hehe. Here is a clue, the Eygptians didnt get wiped out, or even get wet.....no flood, all fable. I am sure the village of these delusional superstitious root chewing, shroom eating witnesses might have gotten a flood from some rain, and through the passage of time, it got bigger with each telling. Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Havent woodcut in like 6 months, or played, so new stuff might have happened, but when I did it last; Fastest exp in the game is willows at draynor, at 91 wc and using a dragon hatchet it took a minute per load if memory serves me right. BUt then you have all those crappy willow logs, I usually burn mine, or sell 5 or 10k of them at a time to fellow burners. Magics are best money per hour, I fletch and alch them. slow exp rate though if you want wc levs. Yews are best middle of the road, you get decent exp rate, and you can fletch and alch, or just sell if that floats your boat...problem is EVERYONE cuts yews.

We had a cat when i was young named Angel, she was a white long haired persian cat, with one blue eye and one green eye....beautiful but dumb as a box of rocks. She would be up on a dresser scratching her ear and lose her balance and fall off...and not land on her feet, splat! One day we couldnt find her, but could hear her meowing.... meeeeeeeeeeoW! meeeeeeeeow! we were going crazy trying to find her, finally we got it narrowed dwon to the pantry, and thought maybe she was behind it somehow, like had gotten on top and fell behind or something....then the sound changed a bit Thump MeeeeeeeoW thump meeeow thump meeeeeeeeeow......we looked over at the dryer....opened the door and she shot out like a lightening bolt, hair all puffed up like a big marshmallow, all static electricity, she looked twice her normal size, I was laughing so hard I tripped and hit my head on the side of the shelf, got a nice little bump, and was still laughing....poor thing had gotten into the dryer while mom was loading it, and didnt notice...hehe :XD: :ohnoes: :XD: then i had a friend whose dog commited suicide :uhh: seems he went to a friends house for a minute, left the dog in the truck, tied its leash to his steering wheel, and being it was hawaii and a bit hot, left the window half way down so the dog could get a breeze. Yup you guessed it, doggy jumped out the window and hung itself....he came outside and found his puppy swinging from his driver side window.....not funny, but kinda funny....hehe i gave him crap about his dog commiting suicide for years :ohnoes:

yeah I am rather fond of the GTO also. I was sitting next to one at a light, and when he pulled off, the exhaust note was just awesome. I cut off my radio just so I could hear him pull away....sweet car. Didnt they stop selling them? Someting about the demand wasnt as high as they thought it would be because people thought it looked like a 2 door grand am, or not visually stimulating enough....meh, i thought it was smooth, and the interior more then made up for the outside's plainness.

It is pretty tame compared to some of the crap you see on Hondas sometimes. It isn't like those "body kits" that you see on the '94 Civics in your local high school parking lot. you have seen the kit? they had a pic in the magazine i was looking at, and it was done on a silver SI just like mine. It looks really smooth, low key, you would think it was how it came. Rall well done ground effects, it goes right over the existing bottom cladding, you can't even tell almost, but it widens the rear end, and the suspension system and 18s give it an aggressive stance. Wish I had a pic to show you guys...meh.

The only time I put my hand on my kids was when it involves blatant disregard for personal safety. Example; I walked in my (at the time 4yo) daughter's room and she had pulled the safety cap off of the electrical socket, was sticking a safety pin into it. I snatched her up, and swatted her on the butt. Example; My 3yo (at the time) son ran away from me and I caught up to him halfway into a busy road, I swatted him good on the backside. What I have found that works is if they are to young to understand....redirect them. Screaming NO! to a baby is a waste of time, and just scares them. Once they understand No, then you figure out what they like the most, and take it away. I gave time outs, 1 minute per year old...so if she is 4 yo, she gets 4 mins in the corner in time out. Once they are about 7yo, they understand rules. I have a written list posted on the fridge, that we sat down together and made up. When she violates the rules, she loses something for the night...tv time, game system, play time with her best friend..etc....works wonderfully. Beating your kid is just a parent venting frustration out on their kid because they dont know any other way to get their attention or teach them what NOT to do, or how not to act. When I was a young parent, I smacked my kids on the hand all the time while saying NO loudly.....you don't get a pamphlet from the mother nature explaining how to be an effective parent. As I matured, got an education, and had some more kids, I perfected the system I use now. Also you can't wait until they are ten to try to discipline them, or teach them right from wrong..it's to late. So if they spoil little johnny, and then wonder why little johhny is climbing the walls at the doctor's office, then start screaming NO and slapping him around.....not going to be effective, imho. It's to late in the game, and it will be hard to rectify. My two cents, from a parent of 4 kids.

I'll recap, 0-60 MPH in 6.3 seconds, 197 BHP 8,000 RMP redline, tuned exhaust system, black suede interior, power everything, IPOD, MP3, CD system with 350 watt 8 speaker surround sound and honda reliability. Are there faster cars in same price range? oh god yes, the Mazdaspeed3 just came out, (ugly in my opinion) but goes 0-60 in 5.8 seconds with a 260 BHP engine. But for a sporty quick car, the best reliability, fun to drive factor, 32 mpg on the highway and somewhat common man exclusivity (only making 2,000 units of the SI a year) I love it. I also bought it because I am currently doing my last tour in the military in Va, and as a reserve police officer in Jax Florida, I have to commute once a month down there to do my 11.42 hour patrol shift so I can maintain my certification (going full time upon retirement from Navy) so the reliability and highway MPG rate made it a good choice. They put me on "military leave status" with the florida department of law enforcement so I can do my Iraq deployment, so when I get back, have to shoot back down there to fl and redo my gun quals. Going to be doing a lot of road trips lol. Before deciding to get this car, I was in between the Dodge Magnum with the Hemi, Dodge Charger with the Hemi or BMW 335i. But being I just bought a $360K house, and wanting reliability for the constant road trips, it made the most financial sense. FALCONNICE: in answer to your question; I am a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, what I do is classified, but it involves making things go "Boom!" :XD: , they pay me quite well, especially being in a combat zone, throw in the wifes income and we are comfortable. Pays the bills :)

Then my senses returned and I spooled it back down. I was just having an internal debate over whether or not to get the FXP kit, or leave it like it is. I know there are a lot of enthusiasts out there, and it seemed like a light hearted thread vice the doom and gloom of the "Flood" "Bible" "iraq war debates" threads. etc. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT rice your car out. Honda "tuners" everywhere have a bad name because the vast majority of them are, simply put, ricers. I'm not saying there aren't fast civics, because there surely are. I could ramble on forever, being a 5 year member of anti-rice.com I'd be content knowing I saved a soul from doing this. At any rate, 18'' rims, gimmicky exhaust systems, wings, unnecessarily bright fog lights, and bodykits are going to do nothing but make people laugh at you. It seems like many people get a false sense of "coolness" out of it. Thinking people are actually admiring mods like this. Thing is, the only people admiring it are the fellow ricers, the other 99% of population thinks its silly and annoying. Anyway, Lordkrohn, you have a good platform to actually make your car FAST. (Which it really isn't now, beating a Scion isn't much to be proud of, but whatever floats your boat), so put your money where it really counts. Its alot more rewarding when a Mustang pulls up to you thinking you're just some silly wannabe in a Civic then you decimate him. Just think about it... hehe, man after my own heart. I was die hard domestic for years, had a '68 charger, 3 mustang GTs, a 93 SHO, 94 t-bird with the 4.6 and then after a drunk driver decided I didn't need to drive my tbird anymore and totaled it when he tboned me through a redlight, I bought my first foreign car after hearing so much from my buddy and his beloved VR6. So I got a 2000 VW Jetta VR6, loved it, but when the warranty expired I had the service manager on speed dial, never anyhting major, just nickel and dime electronic stuff, but it got annoying...then I found out that if the tranny went it would run about $6K to replace it, I dropped it like a hot rock. Right about then we had another baby and the wife was at the end of a 4 year lease on her civic *gag*...(never lease, and i HATED civics, but she had bought that before i met her, and only wanted a reliable car...which it was) anyway we were on the way home from a doctors visit and I was reading consumer's reports on cars...most reliable car sold in America was a Toyota Highlander...I didnt even know what that was, but we stopped by a dealer on the way home, an hour later I was Jetta free and driving a new highlander, gold color with the V6...she loves it. So now I was driving her civic *gag*...but you know what, 4 years it never went to the shop for anything..nothing, not a lightbulb, battery I mean nothing, I put a set of tires on it once. SO anyway I wanted a new ride and hated the civic, guess what the Motor Trend car of the year is? 2006 Honda Civic SI, so I went down the next day and handed them $23k for the next available one......sweet car) You will never see me driving a car with neon lights, bolt on geeky spoiler, stickers on the car...I am a bit old for that, and even when I was young I never liked that, I put the money into stereo upgrades and engine. Thats why I call myself a purist...buy the best model, tint it and thats about it as far as bolt ons go....but then honda sent me an ad for the FXP kit, it's very low key, but accentuates it's natural curves....just not sure because like I said, I would puke if it cracked going into a parking lot. I actually like the 17s that came on it, the design is sweet. They do offer 18s from the dealer, but I don't like the way they look as much as the stock, except for being 18 then of course there is a ton of choices through all of the rim companys.

Street cred, duh Hard to have any cred in a Honda. :P Do whatever you want to it. Just hope you know that it'll void your warrenty. ...the very reason I stick with Honda parts and utilize the dealership for everything...doesn't void the warranty. it came with a tuned exhaust system, sounds awesome, like a minature ferrari, especially when the VTEC kicks in from 6000 rpm to 7800. Not like those annoying coffee can on crack sound that those ridiculous little civics like to bolt on the back. ..and for the guy who had a comment about it just being a honda...I never had much respect for them either until this one came out, 197 bhp stock and a 7800 rpm redline, 0-60 mph in 6.3 secs....stock...before you "tune it"...and its a honda, will run forever.

I got a 2006 honda Civic SI, 2 door sitting at home collecting dust while I am deployed to a particularly unpopular part of the world. Don't have much desire to "fast and furious" it, although everywhere I go, it seems to get attention. I love it, but I am more of a purest, and with the exception of tinting the windows I have left it stock. Honda came out with a FXP package, 18" rims, ground effects kit, dropped suspension and new exhaust tip for like $3K USD...I am contemplating getting it done when I return to the states later this year. The only thing is I have seen so many cars with lowered suspensions and ground effect kits get tore up going in and out of some parking lots, you know on the dip in the concrete, think I would puke if I got a scratch on my car, let alone crack the front fascia if I lowered it. I am getting the optional auxiliary lights (fog lights, but white) put in, because they dont come with it, they are one of the two options available through the dealer, and they look cool. $618 USD for foglights is a bit ridiculous, but I want to keep everything honda. What's your opinion? what would you do or not do?

fantasy car or real life obtainable car? hmmmm Mercedes S65 AMG only $170,000 USD, twin turbo V-12 604 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque then reality...I drive a silver 2 door 2006 Honda Civic SI...love it, waited 4 months after I paid for it take delivery because of the waiting list....fun car to drive, and reliable as can be. :)

to me life is about making a positive influence on others, making the most of your life, learning things, and most importantly love and family. I used to be very anti social, had some hard times, none of which I particularly want to go into on a game forum, but after 21 years of military service (still active) been around the world, experienced different cultures, buried two of my own children who died from a rare disease called Infantile Tay-Sachs Disease, and went through 2 marriages.....when my kids passed it was the turning point for me, it was the deciding factor for my (or hardened) my anti religion opinions, made me appreciate life, and I worked from that day forward to be the best person/father/husband I could be. I have remarried to a wonderful woman, had 4 more kids, got a degree, went to police academy for a year at night while working during the day, got certified and serve as a reserve police officer in florida, spend quality time with my kids and wife...and realize that to me, life is about love and family. so my answer to you is, work everyday to learn something, strive to better yourself physically, emotionally and mentally, pursue education, and along the way love will find you, and then you will enjoy life to the fullest. I love my kids intensely, and we just had another baby boy a year ago. missing all the good stuff while I am here in Iraq, I never got to see him crawl, walk or start to talk...and that kills me....I didnt want another child this late in life, especially into a world that seems to be going down the tubes....but you can't think like that....think positive, live today for the fullest, love as if each day is your last, because it might be.

Hey bright one, how about you actually read through the thread, I have and I have made multiple replies to this and the other thread in this forum about the Flood, how about you actually read them? Glad you figured out the subject is about the bible, I replied in length several times about the fallacy of the bible...not just made a flame remark or two and run off....enter the conversation/debate or shut it.

thank you sir, I respect crimson for a respectable, intelligent debater, even if he calls me names lol. Makes the world more interesting to have different views, I believe in mine, he believes in his, neither is willing to give in or change our minds, but maybe just maybe we both get another view, thus expand our own minds just a bit :)
