Fastest Air Running Method
The real fastest way to craft airs is with air teletabs from grand orb project. 100 teletabs, 100 law runes, water staff and tiara and each trip takes like 15-20 seconds. But it takes a while to get the 4k gop tokens needed for those teles (maybe 6-8 games). If you're serious about runecrafting so you can make even more money through this method, you could also get runecrafting gloves from fist of guthix for double exp (and rangers rule fog since most noobs use magic) Finally, runecrafting is not by any stretch a good way to finance a pure. Regular bones, big bones, limps, water talismans, eyes of newts, cowhides, these are all better ways to finance your pure, and more importantly they are all combat related to you don't waste time on non-combat training.

What is better for money? Combat or Skilling?
The answer to this question comes down to what you prefer to spend hours doing, and your personal style of play. Of course, if you can craft double nats or fletch rune bolts or cook mantas you will surely making more money more consistently than the average combat player. But I like combat. Last saturday I made over 10mill in 1 hour at barrows by pure freak luck (5 drops in 4 trips, including 2 dharok helms and an ahrims hood woot!!!). But even though its not a steady income I would much rather spend hours doing that than run from bank to abyss to altar to bank.

bank space from p2p to f2p
There's a link at the bottom of my post to a guide I wrote on exactly this: going to f2p with a full bank. I switch from members to f2p and back all the time, and I actually have almost 200 usable f2p items that I can withdraw and deposit while I'm in f2p without losing any value in my bank, and if and when I decide to go back to members, my stuff is still all there. Like everybody else was trying to explain, as long as you leave at least 1 of an item in the bank, you can continue to store that item, and it doesn't matter if you're over your limit or not. You don't have to get rid of anything if you check out my guide. It explains the idea completely.

100% favor
I'd say keep fixing the fence. The spiders and other things that jump out at you give you extra favor when you kill them, plus awesome rewards. Man I haven't been in that minigame in a minute!

99 Construction: Cost + Method ;; UPDATED
Ok mahogany larders don't exist, and teak larders use 8 teak planks and 2 bolts of cloth. You get a little extra exp by using cloth, but you only get 2 larders per trip, and the cloth is an additional expense. If you really want to go with mahogany all the way, then dining room tables use 6 planks, so you can consume 24 per trip (4 tables). You can make them at level 52. If you go with mahogany, you make less trips and need less laws/teleports. That way you get to 99 faster but it costs a lot more. And you'd still need the same amount of hammers regardless of the material. Oak larders seem to be the best way with the least cost

99 Construction: Cost + Method ;; UPDATED
I can't believe that I forgot I built a falador teleport in my portal room. If you have one close to your kitchen you can half the number of laws you need and save even more. (I built mine after I got 70 construction. But then again I crafted my laws so the cost difference wasn't massive, but for you it will be!)

99 Construction: Cost + Method ;; UPDATED
I wasn't sure about the familiars. Ok, here's how I would calculate my costs to 99 construction. First, go to the construction calculator and see how many oaks you need to get to 99. Buy half that amount. That divided by 24 will tell you how many trips it will take you. My method uses 2 laws and 4 airs per trip (with mystic mud staff equiped for home and fally teleports). If you craft your laws like me, then buy the ess needed, else buy the laws. Play about 5 games of stealing creation for about 4-5 hammers, then use up the oaks, then repeat. Doing repetitive oak larders is pretty mind numbing, and taking a break between to play stealing creation really helps prevent boredom and burnout. The hammers are free but take time to get, but in the long run I think its faster overall and its a heck of a lot cheaper.

Range Void vs Black dhide
I would also say yes for void, with the extra damage and accuracy you'll still end up with level 70 range, and that way you'll have both. If you look at it long term, having the void armor is the much better option

Getting all combat stats 70s?
Like others said, slayer. You can give all your offensive combat stats a nice boost doing slayer tasks, except maybe prayer. And you collect lots of charms for summoning. Then there's always minigames that reward you with bonus exp as rewards, like PC and soul wars, and mage training arena for magic. my personal favorites are barrows for mage and blue dragons for range, although they are not superfast experiance wise, they are fun and very profitable.

Mage training
You could always check out the minigames that give you bonus experience as rewards, like pest control, mage training arena or soul wars. I personally love doing barrows, and the rune I use to cast magic dart I end up with more than I started with by 4-5 trips, plus heaps of bloods and chaos runes. If you did the quests to manage miscellania and etceteria, you can have them send you over 450 coals a day, buy iron and you will always make a profit on steel items. Or even better mine your own mith and alch mith bodies. That's magic and smithing combined.

99 Construction: Cost + Method ;; UPDATED
One other thing about oak doors is they use 10 planks, larders use 8. You can train on 24 planks per trip with larders, only 20 with doors. I suppose if you have a familiar that can bring extra planks then it would make sense. Plus, my kitchen is one click away from my portal entrance. I would say larders all the way. That's what I would do (I'm not going for 99 construction anytime soon, good luck)
-
99 Construction: Cost + Method ;; UPDATED
I use oak larders (level 70 con right now) and with the stealing creation morphic hammers it cuts your cost in half because you get twice the exp per oak plank. Its not necessarily faster though cause it takes a while to complete the minigame and collectpoints.

crossbow vs knives at blue dragons?
thanks for the feedback. i'll work with the crossbow
-
crossbow vs knives at blue dragons?
true that, plus get full void ranger. without the void, there is really no point in killing them at all. . i never liked pc that much, but i'll check up on void
-
crossbow vs knives at blue dragons?
i dont spend money for my ammo. i got lots off addy and mith sitting in my bank waiting to be hammered. and i have 55 slayer
-
crossbow vs knives at blue dragons?
hmmm... on the max hit ranged calc it says i can hit a max of 21 with addy bolts, and 10 with addy knives (that doesnt even sound right). but if it is, then knives would end up with a faster damage rate...
-
crossbow vs knives at blue dragons?
i can make my own supplies, ammo is not a problem. i want to kill blue dragons with ranged, i tried crossbow with addy bolts and im not sure if its more effective (faster kills) than addy or even mith knives. anybody can tell me which is faster? i dont really care about the cost or xp, just speed of kills and trips. thanks!

Cheapest/fastest way to get to 80 crafting.
at your lvls in sc you would be a good pker. collect level 4 clay and make either lvl 4 melee armor or mage gear and use ancients. youd even won with ranged. you score points by damaging other players, collecting clay and processing it into items. the more points, the more tokens you get towards your needles. i cant explain the whole minigame here, go through the cut scene and play a few times for a better explanation. then you'll have an idea what strategy works best for you

guide to going f2p with a full bank (AOW discussion)
Omg I haven't been on this thing in ages and this guide is way past overdue for a serious revision (last edited in jan 2006!!!). I will be going back to members this month, and I also will have enough time to add a lot of edits to this guide. One of the biggest things affecting this method from back in the days is the trade limit. I was in a clan back then with freinds from real life who I could totally trust with all my cash no problem. Now, even if the clan were still around, this simply isn't possible. If you withdraw all your cash or an expensive item, not only do you run the risk of losing that item if you die, it also reduces your training ability because it occupies an inventory space, and minigames such as fist of guthix prohibit you from entering if you have certain items on you (I think cash is prohibited). However, to the rescue, jagex has included the awesome withdraw option "withdraw all but one". It is right beneath the option "withdraw all", so please take caution and select it carefully. But getting in the habit of selecting "withdraw x" or "withdraw all but one" will save you big headaches. The thing about this method is that its ideal for people who want to go to members on a trial basis or are regular members who take time off from the game due to real life issues (like me :-D). I always want the option to easily go back to members and back to f2p seamlessly. Its better to have the option to do so even if you'll never need to cancel members. Plus the efficiency you get from maintaining a familiar layout in your bank, that in itself is a huge benefit. I'll add these points in the main guide, as well as the bank tab updates, and the new options for depositing and withdrawing. Plus I need to incorporate the new minigames and items because they've change both the banking requirements and the way many of us play.

The Ultimate Guide to F2P Banking **Updated July 10th**
Sinkham your guide is awesome. I really appreciate the mention for the work I've also done in terms of my own bank guide. Congratz on getting members, its really a lot to take in. I'm f2p right now but probably going to members again soon. The limitations you pointed out really take some of the fun out of the game, like not being able to withdraw your random event rewards (I recently got my camo hat and I have to keep it on me everywhere lol. ) Its a sacrifice but once you get used to it there really are a lot of advantages. I actually have a f2p pure that pretty much follows this concept: a minimal bank and immediately sell extra items in the ge. Since he's a pure with no real skills and any items he collects comes from hunting or pking, the ge is his second home. I'll post a pic of his bank tomorrow if I can. Again, excellent guide and keep up the great work

help with ko practice
I need a bit of advice or help. my pure hybrid has pretty good stats 41 att 75 str 72 range 65 mage 2 def 31 pray 71 hp the 2 def and 41 att were accidents before they fixed the combat thing, but anyhow hes still awesome at 60 combat I'm tired of training him, i want to pk but i kinda suck at it. i need practice coordinating my range/2h switch and my eating, picking up arrows and right clicking to attack higher combat lvl opponents. I dont like to keep running away from fights and i shouldnt have to with my stats. how can i get my timing and fighting skills better? any advice? also, if theres any clans out there looking for pkers around my lvl let me know, i think practicing with someone would help get my skills and confidence up. thanks

guide to going f2p with a full bank (AOW discussion)
Wow, thank you again to everyone who supported this idea and helped recommend my guide to aow. I stopped playing runescape entirely like about 7-8 months ago and recently started again. I'm overwhelmed by all the updates for f2p that took place in the last 6 months or so, particularly the additional items and the bank update. So now I have to catch up to how things are currently and update the guide with new items for the checklist. I know this guide got pretty popular since back when I wrote it years ago, and most people would have figured out how to maintain their bank with the updates, because the concept is the same. But I know I'll have to get at least a month's membership (hopefully I can organize my time so I can join members long-term) and add the new items. I just want to keep the guide current so as soon as I figure out what the hell was added since I left I'll revise this

F2P updates in the last 6 months...
Hey tipiters, I need a little help. I'm an ex-member, didn't have time to play often so went f2p, then stopped playing since around easter (around when the ge came out). Now I recently came back to rs, still f2p, and its amazing how many updates came out in the last few months that I missed for f2p. This year is probably the most f2p update in the history of the game. So I'm seeing ppl walking around with [bleep]e shields and new robes and cabbage teleporting. Then I'm reading about new monsters in security stronghold, pvp worlds, acheivement diary, hd graphics! all this stuff is crazy. Can anybody give me a list of all the updates that affected f2p in the last 6 months or so since the ge? As well as new items, gear and abilities. Thanks a lot.

Farewell to rune runners (not that I'll miss them...)
Getting the tablets, gloves, ess, etc are just prep stuff before you start the actual runecrafting. Besides, it doesn't take that long to make 75 tokens, and orb project tokens are easy to get even though that minigame isn't as fun. Plus, compared to walking back and forth from bank to altar, you still save time in the long run.

a Second Tier Consumption Skill
Magic, melee and ranging all are 2nd tier consumption skills because they all consume manufactured items and none consume raw materials. And they are the 3 types of combat skills. The first thing to think about would be if the new skill would be combat related or not. I would assume that it is, but what new form of combat could we possibly introduce and not mess with the combat triangle as it is? Maybe some skill that could enhance the abilities of the other combat types? Like enchanting of technology or reinforcement to upgrade your mage, ranger and fighter gear respectively? Why not add to existing skills rather than make a new one? All skills in runescape ultimately lead to combat as the end result. Except construction maybe, although we can argue that it makes it easier to train other skills that facilitate combat. So if not a combat skill, then what? I like engineering. But it would still have to be tied back to combat, like it can allow you to make better armor and weapons, or create better tools for skill training. I'd love to be able to make my own furnace, anvil, compound harvester, dynamite for blasting ore out of rocks, chainsaws, etc. Lol Other than that (and its not really a consumption skill) I'd love to see a team-based skill, where you get exp for participating in team-based minigames, clan wars, and other group activities. I would imagine it would be something like slayer, where you would have to do some assigned group activity, and based on how well your team did, you'd get bonus exp. Your rewards would be things like the ability to get monsters to not attack you, fight for you and even do tasks and carry items for you. It would be called charisma.
