Paris Hilton Makes Me Want To Rip Out My Spleen With A Spoon
She violated her terms of probation because she "didn't really look at the contract [she] signed." Oh, and she's very sorry and she'll never do it again and will now obey the law please get her out of jail oh please oh pretty please. Really, it's about time a judge had the testicular fortitude to throw a hack like Paris into prison. She's not even hot. But seriously.. Who's husband is she rooting now

Australia is dying ~ -NO JOKE- ~
They knew about it for years and years and never acted on it. I'd sure love to tell them where to stick the buckets. At least they lowered my tax deductions each week so I wont be as harsh. I can now afford to buy more buckets.

Fate: Fact or False?
Post modernism moment. It's all about what the individual perceives to be real. This is real for me through my eyes and the way I view the world to be. I personally believe what the mind conceives it achieves. The more I study the mind, the more I believe in that concept. It's a bloody powerful thing. Has anybody heard the quantum physics concept, law of attraction? I tested the theory and conquered everything I asked for. EVERYTHING. Quite scary really... So powerful. Thoughts are scary!

Paper Dolls... Kinda...
I'm the quiet snob that looks like ive sucked on a lemon and seems to be unapproachable on the best of days :D I constantly have that sarcastic "can I help you, what do you want, this better be important" expression on my face. :-w

What's the most you've lost?
Most expensive thing that got stolen from me was my ipod - going back about 5 weeks ago at uni. My fault - I left my bag for 2 seconds to print out thesis came back and it was gone. Other thing that got stolen at my uni last week was my USB stick, I mean f*ck... seriously. They're only like 20 bucks why is it worth stealing? I lost all of my essays, reports, assignments and had to submit 2 rush jobs - luckily they still got marked decently.

Theres just no justice
Really? I'm pretty sure we have reasons for wars and such. I'm pretty sure there's a reason for every muder, whether it be a good one or not in up for debate. I don't remember the last time the last time a murders answer for why he killed someone was "I dunno". I'll have to look into that when doing the unit on criminology next term. I know there are people who cant feel remorse for their actions.. Like they can kill someone and not feel anything for doing so..they dont feel bad, they dont have a conscience that kicks in, they're usually unable to display emotions or have difficulty. Even though I guess 'because i felt like it' or 'i was bored' would be a reason wouldn't it? mmm interesting...

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
I was about to ask you what exactly you do until I read your sig. And it looks like you're going into what I was thinking of becoming. But I think I'd get tired of that pretty quick.. There are so many options available in that field of study you dont ever have to deal with people or situations like that if you don't want to. In a few months time I'm heading into the motivational speaking/seminars career field - nearly completely different! Something so depressing to something so uplifting haha - Where do you draw the line? Seriously though if you want any information, you can PM me and I can let you know anything you need to know. Anyway I will bring this topic back to it's original purpose... I'm guilty of going off on tanjents... For all those who agree and disagree on this matter - What do you recommend for the men other than the bridge or going back to jail? We're all so fast to judge, but has anybody stopped and thought of a productive suggestion to deal with the situation?

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
By all means I have to sit and listen to mothers who say they killed their child because it felt good. I can display empathy in the worst of situations. This article is the least of my worries lol I'm not going to judge if a person agrees or disagrees on here.

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
I'm glad you understand now. By all means I understand where your points are coming from and they are valid. Articles are specifically written in certain ways to manipulate a point - Some people read it and agree or disagree with it because the media only shows that point of view. If you can read it and have reason to agree or disagree with it, other than because it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s written in the way to persuade you then you are a critical thinker. I guess if telling people to think before they agree or disagree makes me an idiot, I'm definitely an idiot. Kudos.

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
Ahh you are missing what I'm saying. I'm not attacking anybody who agrees with the article. My comment was for those who read it instantly, without critical evaluation. You critically evaluated it when you read it and THEN agreed with it - therefore my comment does not stand with you. Understand now?

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
deloriagod; I'll re write it in words you can understand to make it easier for you I dont agree with what youre saying but I can see where youre coming from, I was not attacking anybody who opposed, my comment was for the kids who are instantly influenced by the way an article is written without critically evaluating it. Spelling it out for you now: That post was not for those who oppose, merely for the teenagers who agree OR disagree without critical evaluation. However apparently you cant read and you get offended easily, not my problem. I'd expect a flame post back from someone who can't read a whole post before evaluating it, prove me wrong. Then you finish your post by saying "Come back when you're a decent person" before finishing with "You're an idiot". *shrugs* you are quite contradicting. For somebody who seems so passionate about equal rights for all, you certainly don't practise what you preach. I'll still love you for it :D

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
What is it about a bunch of teenagers and a pathos written article that attempts to get sympathy? They fall for it every time and go awwwwwwwwwww poor rapist! Didn't they ever teach you critical evaluation in high school? and to avoid bias :ohnoes: are we about to be dubbed generation slow learners or something... I can see where some people are coming from about theyve served their time etc... I dont agree with it but I can see where you're coming from. What I'm referring to is the kids who read it without thinking and go with the way its written. Media influence anybody?

Compared to the psychological damage they've caused their victims, it's a walk in the park. I hope the rats bite.

Worst thing you got caught doing at school!
I was a [cabbage] of a kid when I was in early high school. My teacher used to give me a hard time so one day when she left the room I decided to let her know how I felt about her by writing B - I - T - C - H in red permanent marker on the white board. She left the school and I nearly got suspended. That was a good 7 years ago... Wow I feel old. Also going back 6 years ago I missed 2 weeks of school and forged a note saying I went on holidays, spent the 2 weeks at the beach, going to older friends parties etc. Until I ran into my mum.... whoops... I got grounded for 2 months but thankfully she didn't tell the school. Noone ever found out because I was one of those flukey students who never really studied for anything at all and got A+'s out of nowhere :XD: The teachers absolutely hated me yet at every award ceremony had to hand me certificates of academic achievement. I used to also hide in the science cupboard coz I didn't want to do any work..........I was a sad teenager! then when everybody left stole the bags of lollies and shared them with my friends. Everybody loves the old pop experiment, double the magnesium!!! raaar :XD: I also burnt a hole with the bunsen burner through the table, got busted writing such a body is a who....e on the table and had to scrub 5 classrooms of tables, used to stick gum in the lesser popular peoples locker holes, climbing and jumping out of trees, stealing art supplies, got caught selling cigarettes to the other kids for 2 bucks each (i never smoked, i used to just profit from the idiots who did) lit the bins on fire coz i got bored. Thankfully I settled down by year 12, graduated in the top 15% of QLD and went on to university...... Nobody saw it coming....Not even me. Then again anyone who knew me on rs years ago would agree I was a [cabbage] of a kid :XD: The amount of times I've been banned on this forum when I was younger for my loud mouth lol My character should've been muted - How I never got caught abusing other people who I didn't like when I was younger is beyond me.

Short poem
It's actually a poem about a person living with bipolar disorder. It alters the brains relationship with dopamine (monoamine neurotransmitter found in the brain and essential for the normal functioning of the central nervous system). The individual experiences a low (depression) and then overcomes with hypomania (rush of sudden energy) without any control and can sometimes even experience both at the same time! The individual has many advantages and disadvantages.....advantages: 10 times more creative than a normal person, artistic, musically gifted, above average IQ, usually a genius, disadvantages.... suicide. I'm a psych student, I write about weird things go figure :P When everything in your life is perfect, you'll do anything to screw it up just to make it feel exciting. I walk away in silence wondering if it's worth it, the pain you cause me so uninviting. Go triumph in your pride of hubris reality, Stare down your reflection of melancholic. Exclude me from your mind game mentality, weaving through the roads of parabola, vitriolic. I wake from slumber with a hang over, absorbing your toxins that torture through my veins. I rise with jubilant, my mind now sober. You have lost your grip, it's my life, and I hold the reins. I conquer all through my wrath of euphoric energy, a labyrinth of riddles racing through my mind. Creativeness, speaking quickly this bliss inside of me, nothing is complete! Time is ticking slowly maligned. My heart pounds, confusion sets in, outraged for unknown reasons, you'll do. It's your entire fault! This anger I feel within! I'm sorry; I hope you forgive me, if you only knew... When I wake up each day I wonder why, I can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t control the way I feel it decides for me. With my head in my hands I start to cry, I breathe deep sighs and count to three. When everything in your life is perfect, you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll do anything to screw it up just to make it feel exciting. I walk away in silence wondering if it's worth it, the pain you cause me so uninviting.
