  1. I understand it was just an idea :P I am just interested in what provoked the thought?
  2. I am actually more concerned about what made you create this thread than the content of the book? lol
  3. I disown anyone but family who lies to me on a deep level. I am huge on trust. But something like that, I wouldn't read too much into it, he probably just didn't want to hurt your feelings. Lay low for a while and let him ask you out to the next event so it doesn't look like you're the clinggy friend type that needs to constantly be around him.
  4. Oooooo I forgot about the rave I went to in Easter and last year in November (Mayhem and Critical Mass). I got to meet Infected Mushroom, AlphaZone, Scott Brown, Dj Brisk, Dj Neophyte, Dj Mc Sharky, Kevin Energy and I actually know and am friends with the MC Kryptrayder (people from Brisbane and Sydney might know him) he's regularly at Rockafellas with Bi-polar another great hardcore dj duo. I also have photos of Infected and kevin energy if anyone wants???
  5. rofl yep that guy from the holden adds (australian tv) and he goes MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHEAT GRASS hahahah he speaks exactly the same in real life. Also Connor from Neighbours I got my photo taken with him when I saw him at a night club.
  6. I usually choose really lame names for my pets like Spoofy, Techno and Deefer (d for dog). Yes I really called my past cats and dogs those names. I chose a semi sane one for my current dog, it's Sarge. rofl..... it's almost a ralph wiggum moment
  7. I made you a card in paint but i decided it looked really lame and didn't post it :P
  8. When I 'put my face on' I look like a clown does that count?
  9. Holy f*ck grab the shovel and chop the bloody thing to bits  :ohnoes: and if it doesn't work repeat the following:

Green You value growth, life, adaptation and nature. You love to hunt, mate, kill, and eat̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã
  14. Isn't that just what I suggested? lol I guess you don't call it TAFE or a diploma in your country. I work full time and study full time, like I said, you can do anything if you really want something. If I can put in over 80 hours a week from determination, you can too if you're motivated enough to do it. Failure doesn't happen over night. Failure happens from a few small errors of judgement every day. Correct the errors. You can sit there and go 'well i dont have the money' or 'i cant take longer' the fact is, why waste time with excuses when you can do something about it. Not being nasty but if I can do it so can you. I failed year 12 the first time around because I didn't try and was happy working a crap job, only to go back and graduate in the top 15% of the state. All you need is will power and to really want something. Not to blow anything out of my arse, as that is probably what it is screaming to you, but I'm just trying to let you see that you can always get what you want, if you keep trying. Do you think 90% of university students can afford each week or something? lol most of them sacrifice up to 7 years or more of their life, scraping in the poverty line and reheating their left over̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s until they can make the big dollars. Even though I work a lot more hours a week than most uni students, you would still probably find my bank savings amusing. It is an expensive world to live in, welcome to life. Make do with what you have and wake each morning with the pure satisfaction that you're doing what you really wanted to do in life. That to me, is worth more than money ever could. If you need someone to talk to, you can pm me for my msn, sometimes just talking about things helps you make your own mind up.
  15. "Noone died when Clinton lied" I love that sweet little badge, it's on my uni bag :P
  16. There is always a door open to where you want to walk. You are not looking hard enough. If you want something, you will get it, find other ways even if it takes you longer to get the end result. You can do anything you want, if you're really prepared to get it. Take short courses to gain credit, complete year 12 in a tertiary class which ranks higher than completion of high school, pay to re sit a stat exam, study another course at university for a year relating to what you want to study to gain credit into your course the following year, go for a 12 month diploma, use that for credit, hire a tutor, study harder, repeat year 12 there are so many options. What does it matter how long it takes you to get what you want, so long as you get to your end destination? Those who really want things, go out of their way to find other means to make the dream possible. Good luck. If you're unsure if you can achieve your goal, you will have failed before you begin. Keep that in mind.
  17. Same here. You want government out of your personal life, at least to some degree. But you want more government in your economic life. Politically, you appear to be a solid Democrat, though you might also find the Green Party appealing. I vote for the greens every year, someone has to :P
  18. Wooooo free trees to hug and tie dye shirts for all

It can appear relaxing but it's only feeding the addiction. Btw for all those who ever wondered why you smoke more when you drink, it's because it blocks the nicotine hit.
  20. Post modernism people! "This is true because this professional says that" "But I don't agree with him anyway because I'm allowed to think differently" "Why do you agree with what that person has said, when this person has said this" "But the world is, how I see it fit to be, everything is inline to what I believe to be real". Amusing :P It actually makes me think that the Liberalism ideology is slowly dying in Australia.
  21. I've had a lot of dreams like that too and things that weren't dreams. I was driving in the car at 8.22pm and felt the strange urge to send myself a text message for a poem idea, "Each rain drop a tear from ones eye, on the accident from the roads ahead, each time the queue, the flashing lights, a feeling inside of pure dread". My best friend actually died at that exact time in a car accident on that same night. Now that is freaky. Another time, I didn't want to sit in a seat outside the bar because I felt like something bad was going to happen to me. I felt stupid about it so sat there anyway, ignoring it and some guy ran past and ripped out my diamond earrings, my ears bleeding everywhere. Another time my friend and I sat in the train and I told her we had to move train carriages, I didn't feel comfortable in the one we were sitting in and I had no idea why. I looked behind us and I recognised that it was the guy who was stalking my friend from the bar, we ordered someone to meet us at our destined station and switched carriages to sit where the security was. Another time I have been startled for no reason and unable to move, only to have 2 cars collide into the back of eachother, where I would have been standing if I kept walking. I have had a dream of what poker machine to play and how much money I was going to win, I thought it would be cool to go in there and try my luck just for kicks and won the jackpot of the same amount on the same machine. I've had a dream of digging up $2 coins, my younger brother and his friend the next day were out in the front yard burrying their $2 coins and trying to see if they could find them again (pointless dream, but who knows...) I've had a really bad feeling that something had happened to my partner, I left my work conference to ring him and he had actually been admitted to hospital with a neck injury from the army. I told my partner before he left to go with the army I had a dream that he was coming back from the army sooner than 6 months and that I would pick him up from the air port for valentines day. That happened. (He has since been discharged, gotten surgery and is training to do paramedics for the ambulance instead). In which he had previously laughed at when I first met him and asked him if he was a paramedic. That the house was on fire, to wake up the following night to smoke in the house, the bin was on fire as my mum didn't put her cigarette out properly. When I was younger, I had a dream that grandad said goodbye to me and that he had to go away for a long time but he is still with me in my heart. I woke up and told dad and he was actually on the phone to him. An hour later my grandma rang and told my dad, grandad had a heart attack and died instantly. I have 'predicted' by dream my mums car accident, a conversation my boyfriends mum was going to have with me, my grandad dying from cancer (different grandad to the mentioned above), my nanna striking a nurse (you'll have to ask me about that one through pm), my great grandma's passing, my brothers girlfriend breaking up with him, what my friends new motorbike looked like, my friends motorbike accident, a person I was going to talk to on the train, just a few I can think of at the top of my head but they happen so often I could probably fill this whole thread up. It is freaky but I guess I don't know what to make of it other than accept that it happened and live with it. I'm not claiming to have 'powers' or to 'predict' things all I'm saying is I have had some freaky coincidences that seem to happen all the time. In no way, shape or form am I suggesting anything otherwise.
  22. Let's face it as the years go forth, anything we drink, eat or breathe is becoming bad for us in some shape or form :P I really have given up on it all and just stopped paying attention.
  23. They would only use cognitive therapy or classical conditioning. If he finds it too difficult to understand what I wrote in his inbox about cognitive, maybe contacting one might be an idea. It would be easier in person. Here's the classical conditioning approach that I didn't attach to the cognitive: It's like worrying in bed; if you're constantly worrying in bed you'll condition yourself to associate your bed with concerning issues. You won't get any sleep at night and most probably nightmares to go with it. Solution: Do your worrying somewhere else. I remember asking myself why I was so unmotivated lately, I had realised I had conditioned myself that when I listen to my ipod, it was associated with hard work. I went to my job, listening to it, my uni, listening to it, my study listening to it and gym with it. I recharged the battery, hooked it back up and wallah. That was the problem.
  24. I can vouch for that I've known him inrl for about 5 years :P
