  1. Instead of acting all immature "LOLOLOLOL" go do some research on human behaviour. You're obviously not here to find out the cause when you're laughing, bad mouthing and making jokes. Hence the reason I'm not going to answer your question or help you with it, I'd be wasting my time. Same goes to anyone else. If you want to actually learn about something, empty all pre-judgment and research with an open mind.

    Today...

Traitor, you didn't even message for coffee :P Today I'll be going to the hospital for day surgery around 2pm so wish me luck, I'm a bit scared. I won't go in to details because it's rather personal but if I don't go through with it the chances of cancer is too high risk.
  3. RIP the photos and news footage were very devastating. Oh and I hope the arsonist/s get life in prison. I heard the fire swept through at up to 180km/h thanks to the wind and so people in their cars had no chance to escape. I don't know if that's true or not.
  4. I don't see the point of them. Nerves can get in the way of rational thinking at the best of times.
  5. Try critiquing intelligently and you might actually get somewhere

Now that does sound like a perfect day :D
  7. That's rather ignorant. How about starting your own code called "asking how my best friend since the age of 4 feels about my decision before I make it because I care about them more than someone I barely know?" If you go ahead, you don't deserve a best friend. Take it from someone who's cousin has a baby with her ex boyfriend
  8. Thanks Sly, good read. Taking Raiden to get his 4 month immunizations and to get his legs checked out. I'm having one of those "mummy instincts" that tells me there may be something wrong with the blood circulation in his legs. I've had them checked before but I want more opinions from his regular doctor who was away and also a pediatrician.
  10. ^^ Can I please have a source for those facts Wizard, I'd like to have a read through. Thanks :D
  11. Well said Lancer. And I'm almost too confident that there are people on this forum who have written many more than you have but this isn't a linguistics competition. In future you can't copy and paste word for word and scribble "thanks Maddox" down the bottom. Shove a quote bubble around it, link your source and quote it correctly. This doesn't come down to other people finding it for themselves, when it's your responsibility to have it laid out correctly in the first place. What you did is insulting to his work and for someone who is well aware about college essays you should know better. If women want equal pay, go out there and find equal pay. If you're qualified for the job you will more than likely be able to negotiate your own salary. Better yet, create a business and become a business owner/self employed. The more effort you put in to your business, the more pay you'll receive. Chances are if you're intelligent enough to debate equal pay, then you're intelligent enough to put a plan of action together. I speak my mind too but there are more intelligent ways to go about it and somehow you haven't discovered it yet. You're not really stirring much, just making yourself out to be a fool.
  12. Other than a bath/feed/play/sleep routine with my son, my life doesn't revolve around a daily routine. Things get done when I feel like doing them :P I usually don't make a lot of plans either, I'm kind of "spare of the moment" type thinker unless it comes down to something that needs some kind of structure. I almost feel sorry for you guys if you know what you're supposed to be doing, every minute of the day :P

Don't pay any attention to the BMI calculator. A friend of mine who is a personal trainer has next to no body fat on him is considered overweight according to his BMI. One of your more intelligent posts

    Today...

Yesterday went to dinner and watched a movie. Saw "yes man" with Jim Carrey in it, I thought it was great. Not only was it funny but it sends a real message to all those people who are missing out on so many opportunities because they keep saying no whenever an opportunity presents itself. Went to flight center for more information about going to Fiji. We're looking to book around the 12th of August so we're there for Brent's birthday. Looks like it will cost around $3,200 for 5 nights. Today we went for a picnic at one of the dams, beautiful scenery, lots of butterflies flying around.
  15. Yeah. I don't really know how far this will go discussion wise (not too much to add to it other than yes or no). If someone doesn't know the name of a song they've heard a million times then they won't even be able to name it here. There is also a music sub forum for music threads.
  16. Since suggestions of domestic violence on a family forum is allowed because people are "entitled to their own opinions" I will reply to this. Hitting doesn't fix anything psychologically speaking, it's an immediate short-term consequence to a long-term problem and therefore promotes nothing but fear. It says that it's okay for bigger and stronger people to advance violently to smaller and weaker people. Your solution is a load of crap and I can "put you in your place" honey without resorting to violence. There are children traumatized from domestic situations globally and I think it is rubbish that you're allowed to come here and suggest it.
  17. So if he's essentially plagiarized, why is this still here? Not to mention his spam thread, re posting things that mods have deleted, suggestions to participate in domestic violence, insulting other members and nothing has been done because he's "entitled to his opinion". Very slack!!
  18. At least use real statistics and some sources. You obviously have a strong opinion, so try supporting your arguments.
  19. Um... I don't quite know what to say to that.. So I'll just take it as a compliment. Thanks? :? .....
  20. Good on you Evil. If it means something to you then everyone else can suck it up or get [bleep]ed. Getting sick of Knight's bs posts.

To lose weight, to tone up or to build muscle? Your answers to "how to stay in shape, work out and eat healthier" rely on which category you fall under.
  22. Great motto guys, couldn't agree with you more. Anger can be a gift if you use it for socially acceptable activities/motivation/determination. It doesn't have to end in violence or negativity. I taught my youngest brother how to channel his anger, although we don't live together anymore so I hardly know what he's up to these days. I liked his first tattoo that says "mister" across the back of his neck. I know the meaning behind that one is very dear to him. I just shudder at this scary joker he has on his arm.

You'll be able to make fun of it soon enough anyway. The only reason I'm losing it, is so I can be fit enough for another one  You should try meditation. It's good practice, once you get in this mental state of mind and get a set rhythm going with your breathing and legs everything goes numb. I don't know if this will work for you (some say time drags on) but I stare down the clock and set myself short-term goals. For example... before x time I want to run x distance and then set another goal... I'm going to run as fast as I can for the next 60 seconds... then set another goal... I'm not going to slow down to under x rpm.
  24. Congratulations :D If you're in a "look at me" kind of mood you should post in the real life pictures thread. There is already an existing "tattoos" thread, you can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=754684&hilit=tattoos To see if there is already an existing thread, click on search, type in the topic and search for existing threads. And yes I like tattoos, I have two, my fiance' has 4 and we're a part of the biggest motorcycle riders group in Australia, so we see plenty of them ;)

    Today...

lol you leave my baby belly alone  I exercise 6 days a week sometimes twice a day thank you very much and have already lost 7 kilos :P I'm not stressed. The shrieking is annoying but I can stand it. Everything is slowly coming together, going to be moving to a house that is big enough to extend the family, going back to work soon, business on the side is picking up dramatically because of the economic crisis (we have to see 9 people on the weekend regarding sign ups). I missed out on the shop lease I wanted but there is a new block of land being worked on, just around the corner so I choose to believe that everything happens for a reason and I'll most probably get an even better shop for better price. Even if I were angry or stressed it fuels my fire. I'm an extremely motivated and determined woman, I use it to my advantage, especially when working out. When I was having a bad day I managed to climb 10km's of stairs and only stopped because Brent dragged me off it and thought I was about to pass out. I think he's jealous because he's ex army and I can do more than him ;) But yeah I'm really not a "oh why me, oh why me" person. Just dust yourself off and find something else to give you the same results. I hate excuses. I think it might have something to do with a competition he entered about being handcuffed together for the weekend to win a trip to Fiji. Then the travel centre ads came on the telly advertising package deals and he turned to me and asked me if I wanted to go on a holiday. Naturally I asked if he were serious because he's normally a scrooge mc duck and he said yes. My bet is the money Mr Rudd is giving us for the 'economic crisis'. I qualify for all 3, so the both of us are going to be given a nice cash boost. We don't have any bills as we pay for everything in cash so it would just be free money to us really. Plus, we can spend it on 'economy class plane tickets', after all, Rudd did say to spend it on the economy ;) So HERE WE COME FIJI!!! However, if we find a nicer package deal for another country this could change.
