Yeah I was with my first boyfriend for 2 years, I broke up with him, he moved to Florida, USA and when I woke up and realised I missed the best thing that ever happened to me he was gone. But... I am a determined son of a [bleep] :) it took me 5 years to find him but one day the right person read who I was looking for, worked in the credit check section and ever so illegally gave me his where about. I wrote him a letter, which arrived the same day of his new girlfriends 1 year anniversary. Since then I have found a new guy and he has found a new girl but I promised his mother if I didn't marry him, I'd sit in the front row at his wedding. He's meeting up with me in Brisbane in the next 12 months... So it will be interesting. This is Cliff and I... The only thing that mends a broken heart is time... and a lot of chocolate : My current boyfriend and I's relationship is difficult to understand... I have bipolar and he has aspergers. I want things NOW and he'll do them when the timing is right... and so forth. We are complete opposites in a lot. We've called eachother everything under the sun when we fight and I've said I'll never speak to him again, 2 days later I wake up next to him... go figure. Somehow it always blows over and we always seem to fix it.

If they break in to your house (going from when I did a bit of law 2 years ago... unless things have changed since then) it's perfectly legal to defend yourself with reasonable force. Personally I wouldn't stab someone but I'd probably knock them out cold with a cricket bat or something :lol:

My little brother is almost exactly like me personality wise... It's almost scary. He says I'm more of a mum to him than a sister in the fact that I'm always there for him and do anything to help him out no matter how bad it is and have practically raised him. My older brother is a doofus and we don't get along very well. He walks in my dads footsteps and constantly seeks approval and always gets my dad to do everything for him. Sure he's 19 years old and buying a house soon because he's Mr. money bags but his personality stinks, he only cares about his self. On the other hand he can't do anything his self not even make a phone call because he's always asking my dads permission to do everything in life and it's lame.

I've cheated twice. Once was a year 7 spelling test and I needed one more 20/20 to get an award so I wrote down 2 of the words on my pencil case. My pencil case was that full of ink and writing that noone could have noticed :lol: 2nd time was a year 9 math exam and I had one of those new calculators that you could save data in. There were no rules against it, so I saved all the volume formulas for 3d shapes etc and got 100% :lol:

Self defence excuse doesn't work, it needs to be equal or lower force and a gun is considered legally higher than a knife, you had no leg to stand on (depending on the country). 3 nightmares that I can think of that affected me pretty badly: 1st - I was walking home from work, through the park at night time; I sat down on the bench for a second to grab my mobile phone to give me a bit of light... Then I literally felt in my dream something hard pressed against my head and a clicking noise... "Followed by a... if you scream I'm going to kill you"... -- 2nd - I saw a truck reverse in to my mums side of the car and saw her die. -- 3rd - I climbed on my bed and tried to fix the light but was electrocuted... I literally felt the pain in my dream and woke up with a jump, my heart thumping and sweating like anything.

From my parents I've asked for some new pots and pans 8-) :roll: You should have seen my partners christmas list with his multi millionaire parents... (god I hate them, rich snobby [wagon]) He wants the latest CBR road bike, our house bought for us so we don't need to lease or a years supply of petrol... The pathetic part is he'll probably get it. I wouldn't have locked the thread personally. However, I would have told him I didn't appreciate the personal information used against you, especially seeing as you thought he was a person who was capable of leaving it as water under the bridge. I would remind him that he can trust me enough not to dish out the dirt on him so I would like it if he could be equally as respectable. I would tell him that it isn't a personal attack and push the argument back to its original purpose. Say the argument was on oranges.... He says "Ha-ha you wouldn't know what you're talking about because you're fat and nobody likes you, go home and cry to your parents, oh that's right they don't care". You say "I'm sorry if I've offended you but I don't really see what my personal life has to do with oranges. You've been a good friend to me and I'm sure we're both just very angry at the moment. However, the point I'm trying to make is that oranges...." and so forth. (Taking away the defensiveness, you show him his hurtful comments have no effect on you, you find common ties, be positive and bring the topic back to its original point.) I would have edited that part and encouraged the debate to continue at a non personal level and if it couldn't happen, we would have to agree to disagree. If anything further happened, I would have asked the site creator to deal with it. That way, I've never taken away his freedom of speech, I've let him know what my boundaries are without restricting his, we're both on equal levels and if things did turn ugly, the end result wouldn't be lingering over my head. In short - You have all the right in the world not to have your personal details shown but you do not have the right to simply cut off his freedom of speech. If anything you've caused him to get other people to team with him against you, tell a lot more people about you for revenge and in the end with your background, you're going to eventually say enough is enough and totally abuse your powers or leave, which means he wins. Obviously you're unsure if you've done the right thing or not or you wouldn't be here which is a good thing, it means you have a conscience :P In all truth you've both been angry and you both did the wrong thing. He personally attacked you and you retaliated by removing his freedom of speech. An eye for an eye would make the whole world go blind and I'm sure you're both mature enough to ease the tension between you. Take a deep breath, go for a walk, then come back and see what you guys can do without making things worse than they already are. If your friendship was strong to begin with, I believe you can fix anything.
