Do they ask the fans every time they change a sports regulation? Hell, anyone know if they even ask the players?
  2. I love your avatar.
  3. This could actually work, but you'd have to make sure people put armour on if they were being hit too frequently.
  4. my friend did 500 runs and got a d med and ahrim's top.

  10. Why. Why the hell would you bump trash.
  11. just read up on black holes and you won't have any more nightmares about volcanos.
  12. If you are dueling, always use dds specs.
  13. True, and guthans beat veracs like veracs easily beats dharok. (dh beats guthans easily) Guthan's completely blows in a Duel. I agree its great for killing NPCs, but arena fights are so quick that the set effect often doesn't fire during the fight. And if it does, you're still using a rather weak weapon against a flurry of DDS specials, whips, and other various means of loosing massive amounts of HP quickly. Now that I know about the armor part of the Veracs effect I can see how useful it is....But I've seen a guy in Guthans get owned 10+ times in a row because his warspear was to slow. Actually I've heard it's pretty good. Guthan's spear isn't actually all that weak, and every time you heal, it's like you're getting another hit at them.
  14. your cooking level.
  15. Charge used to give faster experience than that.
  16. Dharoks isn't just a fun armour. You can get the fastest strength experience per hour possible with it.
  17. Dharok fights are very unpredictable. I'd say verac is more reliable, against any random player. edit: just have to point out that the verac special (hitting through armour and prayer) randomly occurs; it doesn't happen every hit.
  18. Okay, uh lots to read here... You're right (partly) about dharoks -- usually the high hits aren't very frequent against other players, and a whip would be better. The thing about dharoks is that when you're using it, you're hoping to get two high hits in, in a row. A player simply can't eat fast enough to counter twin 50s. If you're dueling like.. a ranger or a lower leveled warrior, that'd be the time to use dharoks. When you're pking, it's a completely different game than dueling. In dueling, you won't lose your armour if you die, so you see people using full ahrims / mage book / fury, etc. If you pk in dharoks, you're going after people in full rune (mostly). (Dharok vs Dharok fights are completely random). Then you have the benefit of higher defence, etc. In short fights like dueling, I'd take torag helm over verac, since you probably wouldn't even use up your prayer in that time (unless food was on). Okay uh... If you're going up against a ranger, i'd go with that (but whip not flail, right?), but if you're going up against a warrior -- possibly in barrows armour -- do you plan to still use this hybrid of armours, or full veracs? The verac special effect is very powerful, and it'd be best to use full veracs, even though it gives less defence. I'd also like to point out that Dharok and Torag have identical plate and leg stats. So, perhaps you could substitute dharok armour components for every time you said Torag; then when you have more money, you could have both verac and dharok. The only thing torag has on dharok is that the helm is cheaper and has slightly better stats. The torag helm is great for tank ranging/maging, etc, because it's so cheap and is like having rune legs strapped to your face. sorry my post jumps around so much, I just kept scrolling through your questions and thoughts and answering them as I thought of answers. and about the helmet of neitzoit, at lower levels defence is perhaps more important than a strength bonus (barrows helm vs neitzoit), but when you're higher leveled, higher strength bonuses are quite sought after.
  19. There once was a ghost that haunted the house of an old married couple. It couldn't do anything to them because they were both deaf and blind.

  22. Yes, this is the best spot. The best method for mining there is this: Start off in edgeville. Use the canoe to get into the wilderness, and walk a bit south west to get to the mine. The mine is in about level 29-32 wilderness. Bring an amulet of glory, and when you're done mining use it to teleport out. The amulet of glory can teleport you out from up to level 30 wilderness.
  23. He isn't using it to train, atleast not mainly :?
  24. I apologize, but i'm a bit sleepy, and in my last post I had misread a portion of one of your posts. Either method seems okay, but now i'm leaning a bit towards the dharok method, but only for training purposes. During minigames, duels, and random combat situations, dharok's set effect wouldn't be helpful, because the combat would be so short that you wouldn't be able to lose enough hitpoints in time, really. Your style of combat is very different from mine; I only train one skill at a time, and when in combat I usually either use accurate (whip) or strength (great axe, anchor, etc) modes. For instance, I'd never go training with two primary weapons. When I'm walking around runescape I generally don't carry anything really, and I usually don't just walk around runescape. I'm quite an odd runescaper, I basically live at castle wars, shadow lair skeletons, the warriors guild (see avatar), and sometimes pest control; so I guess I just don't exactly understand all the circumstances you want your armour set to fit. EDIT: I'd like to recommend a small change if you chose outfit two. I'd replace the verac helm with the Neitzoit helm. it's basically a berserker helm with better bonuses.
