I would try and spend my time discussing with my dad what each character or other object meant to real life computers. I'd also have to say beast wars was pretty influential. I actually find that I like that more then any of the original Transformers (although I never knew about those until sometime later, lol they were from the 80's). I have a box full of Beast wars transformers ^.^.

When I was with my first girlfriend, she has this huge jealousy issue. After much begging i eventually gave her my hot mail password (which is a different account then the one i currently used). She never actually did anything except check it to make sure other girls weren't mailing me, and to make sure that most girls were off my msn list (Ya, I pissed off a lot of girls at the time cause I suddenly had to become enemies with them). I think I changed the password eventually (But ended up ditching it the next summer anyway when i seemed to be hacked). Other then that, I don't think I've ever had to share passwords anywhere else. I definitely don't think it's a good idea to share passwords anymore. Edit: Now that I think about it, the other password I share is the one to my laptop (With my account being the only one since it's mine). I let tonnes of people know it when I have to go do something but they want to use it for something. I never leave it alone for a long period of time with anyone, and almost never with an Internet connection.

Outlands SUCKS, way too scifi-ish, trust me pre-bc zones are the best. (Nagrand isn't bad though). Also the instances are just a long annoying hallway, and heroics are just the devs being lazy. Well ive been there before when I tried the PTR as a lve 70, and i loved it. I love the sci fi feel. I've never done any raids either, so it will be interesting whether or not higher level players like them or not.

Um two things. Anyone else getting FPS problems? My laptop has been running the game fine for the past few months (albeit on fairly low settings) and in the past two weeks i get random FPS problems where it drops to like 10ish ( was around a comfortable 30). I have a nvidia card, and alot of people who have them on the official WoW forums seem to have the same problem (Funny enough its only with my laptop, my Computer runs it fine on full graphics). Also, I'm 45 now, and cant wait to get to outland. Anyone recommend me a way to level fast (no leveling guides please lol) (hoard btw.).

I went with my dad down to Tim Hortons this morning for a coffee, and we talked for a long time. It was good. My mom made a cake (not a lie) for him too.

I have pretty much given up in the whole "Yaa, im gonna sit there the day of the protest and see all the updates" kinda of stance on it. I will still support anon in the background with my knowledge I have learned, but I'm not gonna go around talking to people about scientology unless it comes up in a conversation.

The majority of them contain the same core basics. (I.e. you are on a quest with one or more party members). But that is pretty much it. All RPG's are pretty much different depending on story and gameplay. FPSs on the other hand all share the same thing, You shoot at things. On the rare occasion you are given different gameplay when a company decides to do something different (I.E Bioshock). Very true, but the thing about RPG's is that they keep evolving and more can be added.

:? As much as they are popular, there isn't much more that can be done with fps. Closest is making a true FPS RPG or FPSMMORPG (Not like hellgate london). As far as I see it, FPS is is just a genre turned bland through over play. RPG's and MMORPG's.... Those are the future.... [hide=View the future][/hide]

I'm working on a beta for a text based rpg. I probably will never finish that game fully because I just want to finish the beta so that I can hand it into school for marks. For my culminating task in programing at school, I am creating a 'defend your base' type of game where there are monsters that come out of a portal and you must kill them to gain a higher score. It should be finished either tomorrow or friday.

It is a tie between FFVI and FFIX for me [hide]FFVI has an excellent ending because it shows just how much all the characters have developed as both friends and as people themselves, giving end to one of the best character defined final fantasy games. FFIX had an interesting end. I found myself still getting over the fact that I defeated the large boss while watching Zidane still try and save Kudja. It turns out to be a happier end for everyone.[/hide]
