  1. You could try flesh crawlers and see which gives better exp.
  2. If you go to aviansies for about an hour or two that should give you enough cash to get you started if you find yourself struggling.
  3. Definitely, you won't regret it. Good luck on 99. :)
  4. This. I fished monks from the high 80's all the way to 99. Way worth it, sharks are too slow.
  5. Get a ton of drop potential and do the pvp trick. I normally wouldn't suggest this but you may lose money or you may get rich from this. Hell, some people buy your junk just so you'll die to them.
  6. I'm going to attempt to clear things up because I'm pretty sure I understand compfreaks reasoning. Cannoning obviously produces faster kills seeing as you're hitting multiple enemies every second. However, you get no hp experience, a lot less melee exp since you'll be spending time picking up drops and reloading the cannon and the range exp is halved compared to other ranging weapons. Now if I've been reading this all correctly, then what he is saying is that the 2 range exp you get for each damage done, the small amount of combat exp and no hp exp is not worth using a cannon since you're missing out on 4 exp and 1.33 exp you get each damage. So basically, the cannon is taking most of your melee and hp exp away and in return, giving you crappy range exp. Say for example you get a task of 100 dagannoth. If you melee the entire task you would get around 28k attack exp and about 9.2k hp exp. Now say you brought a cannon, at the end of the task you've obtained 14k ranged exp, 5.6k attack exp and about 1.8k hp exp. Besides missing out on exp, you also lose money on cballs. I may be wrong, but that's the way I see it and I personally cannon tasks and would rather lose out on some exp in order to get a kalphite or dagannoth task done sooner but that's just because I don't like those tasks. If I want range exp, ill just go to aviansies or GWD until I can afford chins.
  7. That wasn't the question. He is trying to help you with a better alternative. He's already stated that it is way too crowded. Bandits aren't better if you have to spend a bunch of time world hopping and dealing with people stealing your spot.
  8. Well if you're hitting 70+ with the spec often then I don't see why you wouldn't use it, I would still keep using the whip when you aren't speccing though.
  9. I dont mean to discourage you but that will most likely make you even more bored of runescape, it will be fun for a while but once you get to a high level it will just become boring. You'll find yourself camping/ grinding just to get the equipment you need.
  10. I believe it hits however much you hit with the special but in smaller increments. So if you hit a 40 with the special, you'll hit 5 8's in a row after that, it isn't literally poison although you can additionally poison the javelins as well.
  11. Do kets have a higher drop rate than the rest of the obsidian monsters? Seems like a stupid question but just making sure.
  12. Well if you had gathered the most clay its not hard to get the other two as well lol. 4/10
  13. What he said, oh great more cats. 0/10 all it shows is how long you play. He is sorta maxed, you know. :-# Well he must be doing other things if he spent another 300-400 hours getting these cats...
  14. What are you talking about? He thought it said ISP
  15. That's a myth, it doesn't help your eye sight at all. i eat prolly 2-4 carrots a day since i was 3 and my vision is about 20/8(yes much better than 20/20), at doctor i went to vision part for physical and went to farthest back line and was supposed to read the bottom row on chart which was marked 20/10, i think took 3 steps back and covered one eye and read it, carrots are ftw But you could have also never touched a carrot in your life and still had the same eyesight.
  16. Lol, but in reality though you don't get as much money since everything is worth less. Yeah, that was the joke... Snapdragons are better.
  17. It would actually be better to go to green drags until he has the cash needed for the gs and then powertrain somewhere else. Pcing is a terrible idea lol. :?
  18. Its simple and right to the point. Just because he isn't going crazy like half the people in this forum do doesn't mean its not a rant.
  19. I don't know how this thread is still in this forum, or hasn't been locked yet but... carrots are a good source of beta-carotene aka vitamin A which will improve your eyesight if you are deficient but if you aren't it won't really do anything for you. Don't flame people just because you see other people arguing against them, it makes you look stupid. On Topic: I can't see what else we could grow that would benefit us and not just be some worthless item thats only use is to add to the compost bin to make super compost. Although if they choose to add another plant to the allotment section they may make it a second for a new familiar, a new type of food, or some pointless plant we need to grow for a new quest. Although these are all possibilities I highly doubt any of them will happen.
  20. I'm gonna have to go with green dragons, seeing as once you have enough money for the gs you'll also have better stats to go with.
  21. Vengenace does work on her. You've just been mistaking which monster was actually hitting you to activate it.
  22. Ring of wealth is worth using. I used to not wear it thinking it was junk, but then I actually bought one and noticed the difference the first slayer task I got. Try it out a few runs.
  23. viewtopic.php?f=30&t=744337 Most people already know about it though lol.
