  1. What if there are multiple gravestones on top of each other? Remember when everyone died on the Vanstrom fight? Good luck finding your grave and clicking it.
  2. One of the reasons I despised getting 120 is mostly every team I was in had a leech. DG became a greedy business after free trade. And while I support free trade, I do not support the greed that came from it. Meanwhile, random teams were trash, and most teams I was with that weren't random people were just full of angry people. 1) I believe I missed something but who are you talking to? 2) DG isn't hard. I didn't get experienced through teams so much as I did soloing. It's very easy to learn how to pathfind on your own if you actually want to go faster. And I'm sure a lot of people hate the way team DG has become and just choose to solo to cut the BS.
  3. Max is around 6 meds/hour, easily done if you are good. Almost 7 if nothing stupid happens in your meds or you get easy floors. That is 600k-700k xp/h if he isn't exaggerating, which is around 5:5 s/l rates if you leech with 4s. Incredible. I wish 5:5 also increased though.
  4. So what exactly is the problem with loafing? It's like they aren't even there. Why pull your hair out over something that doesn't effect the game? People used to do it for tickets anyway, though not as many as now for trimmed req.
  5. DG is a terrible skill. Finally got 120 on one of my accounts after months of frustration. I am glad they are updating the xp/h. DG is one of those weird skills that you can't learn on your own. And with all the elitist idiots keeping normal players from returning things will die out. And I'm not talking about people clearing every room, or skilling, or idling, or whatever as being the "normal players". I'm talking about people who legitimately know how to DG yet people rage at them because they took 15 seconds to do something instead of 10, so they quit DG forever or solo it. It's the insufferable elitist pieces of shit who are hurting the skill. I can see why more people would want to solo. And people are giving reasons like "DG is supposed to be social" or "how will they learn to 5:5". Well surprise, it's not working already. DG is perhaps the most ANTIsocial skill, with people using their ignore lists and notes as lists of people to not DG with. The reason why I stress anti is because it's not because you simply don't talk like when doing afk skills, people start hating other people because of this.
  6. This thread is hilarious. It would take roughly 3000 hours to get 1b from proboscis drops. That's 125 days of playing runescape straight, no rests.
  7. If the guy hoarding phats is the same guy you spoke about selling gp, there is no difference. Both the guy buying and the guy selling ruin the integrity of the game. I guess it doesn't matter putting any time or effort into doing something if you can just drop $100 on it. That is why there is such a huge amount of backlash against SoF. Real life is already dominated by whoever has the most money. People play Runescape because it is a GAME, not real life, but the more you bring real life principles like money into it the less it becomes a game. Life isn't fair, no need to take something that can be fair and make it unfair. I have well over max cash on Runescape, only because I worked for it. I never staked or scammed, only put in time and effort. Is it fair that someone could just spend real money to get what I worked honestly for? Also, it is true stopping bots won't stop all RWT, but it is a huge source of the money influx. If no one bought gp for cash, there would be no profit in botting for gp meant to be sold. Same goes for buying/selling accounts, but that's another discussion. In addition, dicing clans make their money off deceiving people. It is like how merch clans used to operate when there were trade restrictions. It's funny how people are mad at Jagex for getting rid of trade restrictions when the same crap was happening only a bit differently. You are buying gp that was created/gotten using dirty means. EVE Online saw huge problems associated with using money to pay for in game items in the form of tradeable membership vouchers. Now it is run like a business where new players are excluded because the top players are so wealthy, a lot having to do with rwt. Of course that gap could be traversed if you had, you guessed it, irl money. Do we really want RS being run by dice clans? Funny thing is, it nearly is if you look at rare prices.
  8. No, I can't understand why a business would want more potential customers using its (by far) leading product either. What a ridiculous sentiment that would be. It's not like they could put on more servers if the game, God forbid, did become more popular or anything. I'm sorry, I meant how Jagex can have more people playing. I just woke up. Sorry that enraged you. Also servers have a 2k limit. I doubt buying more servers is on the agenda because the servers aren't anywhere near max capacity.
  9. Victimless crime or not, can't we say RWT ruins the integrity of the game? I wouldn't support it even if it wasn't against Jagex rules. And don't bring up stupid shit like $400 a week welfare or making triple an hour. I'm talking strictly about Runescape.
  10. It's not so much Jagex causing this to happen than it is Jagex not doing anything to fix it. Jagex didn't make the lag happen, but their lax attitude about it really annoyed me this weekend. Also, I don't know how Jagex can have more people playing. If 160k people can't skill without every single world lagging, the game will be unplayable if it gets more popular. I don't think the xp bonus caused the lag, because previous weekends weren't nearly as bad, even during the blitz when EVERYONE was online at the start.
  11. I wish there was a choice to turn off randoms. I liked the free agility xp
  12. Crap Halloween update drops All anyone can talk about is lack of randoms. Good times.
  13. What a stupid thing to say, way to provide nothing to the coversation while making yourself out to be a sarcastic... knucklehead, at the same time. And yes, most are middle-class teens who just want money, but some do it for legitimate reasons. Pretty strong words coming from someone posting entirely anecdotal nonsense ... What's wrong with what he's saying? Are you saying there's not those who play/sell in order to actually live? I think he's saying there is no proof behind his anecdotes. Not taking sides though.
  14. They backtracked to do something that would help more than hurt people for once. It is preposterous how people will complain over anything, even something meant to be beneficial. You don't have to buy spins or solomon crap for this. Even f2p gets a boost. What the hell people? Stop being mad because you used all your charms or sold/used all you raw materials or can't play this weekend. I did all 3 of those, deal with it. Yeah, cool man, quoting out of context is always a good thing to do. Make sure you keep doing it! I couldn't give a rats ass if everyone in the game got 99 Summoning over the weekend, honestly, it literally has no bearing on my enjoyment of the game. If you go back and read my post instead of raging all over the place, I said I take issue with Jagex's business plans, morals and ethics. It makes no difference to me if people can train a skill faster than normal, it does make a difference when Jagex constantly say one thing and then do the exact opposite of what they said. Do as I say and all that. That last line was meant for anyone in general. The lines above it still stand. They went back on a few things in the past, but this is only meant to benefit as many people as possible. Complaining about their business ethics because of this update is just misplaced anger.
  15. We still have hope: there is Jake, Gemeos2, Dragonseance, Harry Botter, and not to forget, our Finnish Pride #2 #1: Conesz. Read that last part.
  16. Because waiting daily for another 3 years only to get disappointed again isn't fun.
  17. We should just stop following and check back in a year. Now that our only hope for all 200m quit, no point in following or making charts until someone gets close.
  18. This reminds me of when people get more drunk than they should, then order another drink at a bar. They finish half of that drink, and then the bar is closing. They could either throw away that drink or finish it to "justify" the money spent on it, even though finishing the drink would be a stupid decision since it would make them feel worse. In other words: cutting his losses is the right decision if he's no longer having fun playing. Except you don't invest 10 years on that one drink. Bad analogy ralph Counting 1 number per second to a billion would take you 31 years, bad analogy ralph It's a closer time investment than saying drinking at a bar. Also look at his name backwards.

  20. Thats like counting down from 1 billion and stopping at 100 and saying counting sucks now. You gotta be kidding me right?
  21. Fair for who? The people that did summoning before or don't have charms? That's their (and my) fault. I wish people were more mature about this and realize that these things happen. New updates happen. Who knows if next month an update will happen where you can get 1-99 fishing in 3 days. Will you rage then? They backtracked to do something that would help more than hurt people for once. It is preposterous how people will complain over anything, even something meant to be beneficial. 22. Find me the first blind person and I will be impressed

    Bots

Haha how cute I assume you botted before.
  24. How? A lot more people get xp? People always through around buzzphraises like game breaking and don't even say how this will break the game. Not sure if serious. I'll break it down. 1. Actually training summoning is only a small part of the skill, most of it is collecting charms. 2. By allowing you a 2x modifier on summoning xp, you obviously need to collect only half of the charms. 3. Since you can produce approximately 10k pouches an hour, that means that every hour of bxp used on summoning saves you 10k charms. 4. 10k crimsons would take at least 30 hours to collect. 5. Training sum with crims on bxp represents an approximate 30-fold increase in overall xp rate. Whilst the xp rate of using charms is only doubled, the xp rate of summoning overall is ~ 30x faster. it should be obvious how it is game breaking now. Put it this way: over 5k people got 99 summoning on the first bxp where it wasnt capped to 1.1x. That was when you had the degrading modifier too. One player has these charms. Which would only take about 24 hours to use. That's about 100 million summoning xp, which will be doubled to 200m. If a 3000% increase in xp rate isn't game breaking to you, then I don't really know what will be. I'm dead freaking serious, no need to insult me. And my response is: so what? Give everyone 99 summoning, I don't give a crap. Won't affect me in any way. If anything I'm glad the grind is reduced. Someone said 20 hours for 1 hour of actual summoning training? That's freaking preposterous. I got my summoning the hard way, didn't even do it on bxp weekends. I don't care if someone even goes from 1-99 this weekend, or 50k people go from 88 to 99, or 20 people get 200m xp. This isn't going to affect me the slightest. And since when did ranks on highscore affect actual gameplay? How is this game breaking other that reducing time and changing up the high scores? Stop obsessing over freaking ranks. And if you suddenly think this invalidates summoning, cry some more. Perhaps you are just upset you can't get 200m summoning this weekend. Also I wonder, how is this going to affect you? And don't say "It affects me in the long run" because I'm not accepting that tired crap. Judging by your xp gains and your specific stats this won't hit you the slightest.
