  1. I wish they would actually update the animations for skilling instead of charging us to get them. Just makes no sense to me.
  2. Please tell me you're joking. 100m is kind of a lot to most players. He's not joking. I've dropped over 1b on skills on different accounts without blinking an eye. Money is too easy to make, and I've started from scratch twice on one account, and on every other account. Didn't play much the last bxp weekend. And I found prices don't change like they used to. Doesn't mean much to me.
  3. Bad enough xp rate will be lowered when EoC comes out. Now I'm going to have to deal with duos crashing me and keep paying for a new helm.
  4. I don't agree with some aspect of Alg's article. In the beginning, there was minimal gambling. People were angry with very confusing changes and no instructions or tutorial on how anything worked. We still don't even know what armor actually does and exact amounts. Next, for the first 3 days Jagex barely posted on the beta forums. I counted: 9 posts. One of which was made by Mod Se7en, which basically said "If you don't like it, quit". There was some constructive criticism, but none of it was responded to or even listened to, such as the spirit shield fiasco and how whip has better dps than chaotics. I mean why even test if you don't think what you do matters? Now Berserker (i) is better than Onyx (i), when they were in completely different classes. Why even bother responding when we know it won't be changed or fixed? There are also continued problems with NPCs and their strengths and weaknesses, which Jagex has yet to fix. Finally, Jagex neglected some healing aspects and specials/abilities, and made some things useless. This was 2 weeks ago, and still little has changed. The legitimate testers have all left. There is no incentive to keep us there. The people who gave constructive criticism are tired of not being heard. And if Jagex doesn't even care is gamblers ruin the beta, what does that say about them caring about their game as a whole? You came late to the party Alg, and are basing your opinions on what you see now.
  5. I'd say something but some admin wants me banned so I won't say anything. Let your imagination run wild for what I was going to post.
  6. If you go incognito mode or delete all cookied and access runescape.com, you can access account creation right from the page that appears. That still worked when the servers crashed. Also world 68 never crashed.
  7. Thus replied to Ruinous Edge's topic in General Discussion
What makes Jagex's quote even more confusing is that fact they say you make him dress up like a girl for one part of the quest...you really must wonder what goes through the heads of these quest developers I cringed when I heard that
  8. Thus replied to Sinkhan's topic in General Discussion
Have you played the beta at all? We have never been more powerless.
  9. Basically the new system is just a way to kill pures. Not that I see anything wrong in that. Also it encourages people to be maxed and train evenly
  10. I feel without more incentive this is going to be dead content soon.
  11. I stopped respecting anyone who bought spins, and so should you.
  12. Bought a mask. I actually think it looks hilarious and I like the bubbles.
  13. The combat team is the last hope for jagex
  14. No, I believe that is a stupid reason to quit.
  15. Why does anyone buy spins? Are you crazy (read: pathetic)?
  16. I'm laughing at everyone that still uses Swiftkit in 2012. Seriously, it stopped being useful when the world switching feature was taken out of swiftswitch years ago. Use the client/firefox/whatever and mirc and you wouldn't be in this mess. And there are plenty of ways to take screenshots.
  17. If you have a static IP, don't stake. Problem solved, that wasn't so hard was it?
  18. Probably bones. Wait until tomorrow and see.
  19. Have you actually ever Nex'd with people from the forums? Yes. Yes I have. You know what assuming does? It makes an ass of you and me. Who does 4/5 man anymore? Try 3 man. Wait are you contradicting yourself? Where did that come from? I'm confused.
  20. Nexing with forumers? No thanks
  21. This would absolutely destroy PvM if npcs were also left the same.
  22. You will learn that it really doesn't matter which college you go to for most people. You will end up working along side people from everywhere if you do well. I'm a Junior at Binghamton University, not to far from Cornell. I turned down Colombia University to go here, only because I couldn't afford it and due to some weird gray area couldn't get any aid. I can't really help you with your girl problems, but if you are planning on breaking up, do it now. Don't do it later then end up alone the rest of your years there. I wasted 3 years and now I basically have to be alone for a 4th year, since I'm graduating. No one is going to get into a relationship with someone who is basically running out of time. Do you feel lonely? Friends are usually a better solution than girls when it comes to that. It's a hard concept to grasp at first, but Omar speaks the truth. Friends are best. Took me way to long, and way too many friends to realize this. Kind of hard when all your friends have girlfriends and do things with them and are always together, or at least are seeing people. I've never even been on a date. Then your friends haven't learned the value of friendship yet. Their relationships won't hold out forever, but your friendship with them can. Even if they do go off on dates and spend time with their partners. And believe it or not, a lot of people haven't been on a "date" ever. Some people are too busy in middle/high school, some people choose not to, and some people are forced not to. I've met guys that are nearing 20 that haven't ever had a girlfriend, and girls [attractive girls mind you] that haven't ever been on a date and they're about the same age. People barely go out on dates anymore. You take a girl on a real date, you'll probably impress the crap out of her. If she isn't a dumb [bleep]. I'm 22. I'm just not going to type anything else. Forget it. Goodbye.

  24. I just hope they don't mess it up (they will) and I hope this we be like an added alternative to click and attack (probably won't be)
