  1. Keep it. Dragon tasks are faster if you kill the babies (blues are worth killing if you have a few rings spare). If you power slay with piety and cannon where possible SGS specs really add up, not to mention it truly rocks for boss hunting.
  2. My guess would be adding charms to over events (imps as they are due an update). Really anything which adds more variety to summoning is welcome. Think the way hunter interacted with other skills and yet required no other skill to level. New range weapons, new equipment, new potions and so forth.
  3. gargolye tasks ftw. http://img442.imageshack.us/i/lmaoj.png/ Was taking screenie of max hit (sgs+piety+supers+ring) which was 61?!?! and got a g maul. Just wasted 300 points on skips and didn't get a single task of the new ones.

  5. Its a fair few chins, but its a lot of exp as well as charms. http://forum.tip.it/topic/247101-190kh-range-xp-with-profit-chinning-nechryaels/ It uses void, but its easy to replace with normal ranging gear, just make sure you use reds and not greys for max speed.
  6. Salve and slayer helm don't stack so its better to wear fury or glory. That setup is pretty much the best you can get without using karils. The money you spend on prayer potions is made up easily by the drops.

  8. You do understand the only spell which allows you to hit higher then normal god spells on the standard book is fire surge at level 95 right? With charge 30 vs 31 and thats with the 15% bonus. Cost wise even with 1/8 free spells its the same. Only reason to use surge is for the exp, but you run the risk of getting crashed by a CoG'er with void mace.
  9. Bunyip+piety with whip+defender and SGS for specs rips them apart. They have a very low attack, defense and max hit so die very quickly. Bunyip will take care of the desert effect and the damage. I did 108 with about 15 trout, 2 bunyips and about 6 prayer potions.
  10. The special is pointless there as rex will only ever get 1 or 2 hits off on you. So SGS or EE would be far better. And CoG+void mace is still the best spell/weapon for maging.
  11. That wouldn't work too well. Free items like helm of neitz would always be at the top.
  12. I did a task with veracs skirt, prossy top and the rest normal gear. Piety'ed the whole task which took about 5 prayer potions as they have such low defense. If you can get 2/3 spawns there a nice task for both drops and exp. IMO don't bother with waterskins just take bunyip and some cheap food(I used trout and banked all the drops 3 times in 108 task, which was about 1m if they sell). There max is 10 (30 with the spec which is just a case of walking/running to avoid) and they miss a lot. In fact I took more damage from the desert then any of the strykewyrms, but bunyip kept me healed, plus they drop waterskins a far bit however the delay in drinking can make you freeze which sucks for the special attack. As for the drop rate I didn't get a focus/hex in a 108 task.
  13. Are you talking solo as in only you in the room or solo as in your the only mage but with hybrids in the room? The income is pretty much the same, but the risk is a lot higher with the first. They recently updated the range yet again of supreme so its a little bit more risky then before. However if you stand back between the seaweed supreme won't get you. GP/hour varies massively, but its easily 1m+/hour. Its about 1 item (ring or axe) every 1 hour 30 minutes (~40 kills), but can jump massively. Last few trips I've been pretty lucky and came back with 10m+ in 2 to 3 hours. Biggest tip is join burstinglobs as your cc, they'll get you into waterbirth and generally have 10+ DK mages who will hop to bless if worst comes to worst. Faster kills = faster gp/hour so don't skimp on spells. Take RoL since RoW doesn't help there. Tab house teletabs not location teletabs as I've died a few times in my house which would have cost me 100k+ on barrows repairs otherwise.

  15. hexcrest is the magic one and the focus (can't remember the last bit of its name) is the ranging one. As soon as I buy or get one tonight I'll post back.
  16. Ad-aware is pretty terrible now switch to malwarebytes and superantispyware.
  17. It might be a bit quicker, but it saves a few cannonballs which soon add up. Plus if you stand just right the cannon will pretty much kill the demon in 1 spin. The extra hit you get makes 90% of them die in 1 spin.
  18. You can't stack normal spells, freezing+poisoning in 1 turn is a big advantage. Then theres the 2 mage+range stack. Anyway god spells have always hit hard on the normal spell book.
  19. That was my thought when I first looked at the full slayer mask. Just black mask and focus make me salivate, solo hybriding even at sub 90 stats. Or super quick kills with 2 man slayer task. KQ springs to mind also as does KBD (ranging mainly).
  20. Which tasks? Greaters, gargoyles and hellhounds are best piety'ing (full prossy + bunyip ftw) in the new dungeon as the ring really adds up. I'm not high enough for abyss demons but I'm betting those are the same. Veracs skirt+ prossy top is enough for most tasks as allows you to piety (if you have SW cape even better) at a pretty low cost for the speed increase. Black demons+cannon can be tanked in veracs with piety and unicorn for a fast task. Just use cannon where possible and piety as many of the tasks as you can afford to.
  21. Just noticed cave fights would be a lot quicker with the new range item. It puts fire surge in league with CoG pretty much too both on cost and damage. I really hope I get lucky with my GE offers, chances are very slim but hey can't blame me for trying.

  23. There would have to be limits. I could save all the points until say 83 or 85 slayer then repeat mages or demons on mass. Its a nice idea, but a little hard to implemented without people camping one slayer monster.
