Current work project is to create there company website. Sounds simple until they made the designer redundant (I suck at large scale designs from scratch) and switched the web server. All done original using asp (which I had to learn from scratch as my boss called php "riddled with wholes and a non-professional language") running from an access database (again my bosses choice). Re-doing it using php, ajax and mysql as well as adding a few nice touches (CKEditor for one) to reduce future issue, since my boss who set the silly restrictions got made redundant. A few personal projects which I'm bouncing between some interesting things, but nothing complete or nearly complete as yet.

Dragons if you have access to super antifire potions, aquanites and gargoyles (questionable but still widely used). waterfiends are a given, although there might be some more I'm forgetting.

Making it direct x would kill off a lot of players instantly. How many play RS on a shared computer (school, library, family, etc), how many run linux or OSX and how many just plain don't want the hassle? Runescape's biggest asset has and always will be the ability to play it on pretty much any PC, in any place without having to do more then open a webpage. To my knowledge direct x is merely going to be an UI (user interface) with everything else remaining the same. The same as how someone in SD can do exactly the same as someone in HD only the interface is different. They have a good thing going I don't see RS dying for a while. True you can only add so many options at each level, but you can also intertwine them as well as offer better, but harder options at each stage. Look at slayer its been out ages and still isn't anywhere near complete on monsters let alone equipment.

By creating a completely non-java client its nothing to do with the graphics. Take the java out of the game and you just have images and data, no display at all. To do this it means they have created a completely new UI. Why would they create a new UI solely for PC when every popular OS out there can run RS either in a web-browser or on the client by simply installing java. Thats a whole lot of work to solve "white screening". You only do a full scale UI change if you either want to port or repackage the program. Since RS has been repackaged a dozen times within the last year or so I doubt its that. That leaves porting, since it will run on 99% of PC OS's using java there would be little reason to spend so much time just to port it to the other 1% or say 10% who don't want java at all. Take PC's out of the equation that internet compatible devices do you have left?

Daybreakers. A pretty boring film, I laughed on a lot of the "scary" bit as they had been done before and was very predictable. There was so much more you could have done just to add wow-factor into the film, instead they focus on 1 point of view and there pretty much no connection between the characters. Its was like they tried to mix blade, interview with a vampire, 28 weeks later and underworld only without all the decent action or the nice backstory.

2 pure sets 1 bunyip pouch (1 summoned) swallow whole scrolls high alch runes (IMO its worth it as its magic exp as well as totals a nice amount of gp) EE About 8 monkfish with the rest prayer potions. Should last about 1 hour of praying range switching to piety if you get a nice drop of food. Always pray without you have a uni.

I hope this eradicates whitescreening :P You guy do understand this means non-java client, ie the ability to easily port RS to consoles right? That alone is a massive deal. Pretty much confirms RS will go only consoles pretty soon.

I prefer VLC player. Last time I heard CCCP was the best codec pack.

You'll have a hard time finding any rock band later then the 80's which has that "rock" feel to it. Only band I've heard which feels 80's was Steel Panther, but their more of lets play 80's rock and throw in a load of swears and jokes. I'm going to watch this thread as I too would love to find a hidden modern "80's rock" band.

Nice start. I think you should add some information on basic flow control (if's and switches) and something about basic loops (while and for). Anything which pretty much stays the same in most languages.

Your completely forgetting the whole reason people use AZ's as opposed to other methods. Salve (e) and free prayer. Cut out the free prayer and you may as well kill ankou. As they will work out roughly the same exp/hour, more gp/hour and less crowded. 23% strength and 20% attack really add a lot of exp/hour. 25% of your defense massively decreases the damage. If you don't want to pray to often use prossy. The defense stats look bad but piety all the time with ee and bunyip, you'll take less damage then you heal and get far more exp/hour do the the 20/23% bonus. you only have to pray once very 3 minutes (20 prayer bonus) which is ideal if you semi afk. Thats 20 times per hour at the most, the rest is just waiting for the exp to come and the prayer to drain.

Sorry in advance about my horrible GIMP skills as it took literally 2 minutes and I had to edit my quest list as I've done most of them. Something like that? Green being no requirement or all quests complete. Orange being quest requirements not completed but marked as to-do (or something similar). Red being quest requirements, not marked as to do and not completed. Its more of a quest planner then a quest tree. Wow just had a thought on how this can be done, it works out a lot bigger, but allows for it to logically work without massive formulas. The result would be in the region of 100+ lines vertical and 10 lines horizontal, but once I work out the little bugs and managed to get it organized it should be modifiable.

Get the best tools you can, a familiar and some scrolls and then simply collect clay->process and use the familiar to bank. Runes are the best as they are stackable and if you put them in the familiar each time you make some new ones just use the scrolls whenever you see a white dot. Get a dagger or scimmy and wield it just to deter 1 itemers. In short best tools you can use ->best clay you can gather -> runes-> bank with scrolls. Just rinse and repeat.

With void mace you can use any of the god capes to use charge with CoG and still get the 30+'s. Pretty much optional setups, I've used them both. [hide=Guthan][/hide] [hide=Veracs][/hide] I've tried both and if you have access to a good familiar (fruit bat or uni) and ee or sgs nothing compares to the veracs setup. I found I was using 2/3rd's of the casts I was with guthans, risking less and had easier flowing trips. No swapping to spear to healing and then risking spending too long healing, no random heals. Last few trips I did I was using 1 brew and 1 super restore per hour which was mainly due to the odd crasher or a fubar by the hybrids (extremely fast spawning world gave them some grief). Its a miss conception that you must pray a lot as a mage or even more as a verac's mage. The only times you need to pray is for the first 2 to 5 minutes (spins take 10-20minutes to go to sleep, which means after that you only get 1 or 2 attacking you at the most), if you get someone trying to hop in your world (comes from the ladder and draws sup/prime on you), crashers and if rex spawns mid supreme kill. Once I'm in and maging SGS will heal as much prayer as I could need for most events and sgs+uni (fruit bat was as good if your good at inventory management) heal or overheal (I always keep my hp 70+).

Did you peity the whole time, bunyip and rapid heal when you was using void? Last time I was there SGS and bunyip was overhealing me with void. You have to always run to the altar the moment your prayer hits 0, even if your in combat, otherwise the damage will soon build up.

Your talking about gelatin which is made from bone and hide right? Same thing which is in a lot of name brand sweets like Haribo and pretty much in all jelli/gelo food products. I'm a big believer if your not willing to get it yourself (in the case of animals kill and butcher) then you shouldn't be allowed to eat it. I'm a vegetarian for that reason as well as being extremely against animal cruelty. I've seen people vomit or completely disregard me when I've told them the bag of haribo there eating is mainly bones and hides. I was more amazed when people who I'd seen eating lots of pork in the past suddenly refuse to even go near a hog roast, yes they refused to eat it because it had a head and looked like a pig :blink: People always forget that that chicken fillet came from a chicken which was living at one point, that sausage is random parts of a pig wrapped in intestine and that burger was once a cow in a field. If you can't bare to kill the animal yourself, but still eat it then your one hell of a hypocrite who doesn't deserve to eat the meat.

Punk has nothing to do with emo/goth. Emo is really an evolution of goth into a more modern/popular version. The only link between punk and emo is the use of a colour mixed with black. The more modern punks use of (lime) green or pink and black. Of course some colour blind people think red+black = green/pink+black.
