Dusties are about 35 crimson per hour which is the same as killing about 35 waterfiends in one hour. Say it takes 1 minute per kill and you have to bank twice (using glory to edgeville then fairy rings) thats easily 45 per hour. You'll use a fair bit of food, but due to the rising prices of sapphires, herbs and there other drops you should break even.

Dust devils are overrated for crimsons, your much better off killing waterfiends. Use bull ant with extra food and you should be able to last long enough to get more crimsons/hour.

88 summoning is well worth the cost. I sold my SGS to fund bursting/barraging (smoke barrage is a nice change after 8k of bursts) and in truth I made the difference back within 2 days using my unicorn. Like aspeeder said skills will last a life time, don't skimp on the things which will unlock more door ways.

When you say you constantly changed equipment what do you mean? You wear the same outfit for all the melee brothers, just switch weapons for karil and just switch weapon, top and bottoms for ahrim. If your using the ice and side step method you just select cast, not auto cast (its the left click option on ancients anyway). Freeze -> side step -> attack for x number of turns, if hes still alive cast one more spell. Its not much faster then most methods, but its slightly quicker. If you want sheer speed CoG is the quickest method, its 39's with overloads/extremes. Which is 3 to 5 hitting the brothers. Then switch to DDS specs for karils and ahrim. If there was any way to do a constant 6 minute run that would be the method. When I did the Temple of Sen, I was extremely close to a 5/6 minute run using a mixture of veracs and ahrims.

Considering how hard those are to get, 20 talon beast charms needs to be considered a drop just as rare as say god trimmed rune or something. Something pretty damn rare. However, I think its a bad idea because these are 100% completely utterly USELESS to someone who does not have the level to use them. Just like me and my 30 damn spirit seeds. So, secondary charms to me are a bad idea because not everyone who will do the clues can use them. Just because you can't sell them they shouldn't be a reward? You can't use blue charms until level 23, does that mean they shouldn't be a drop until your 23 summoning? Obsidian charms can be used as low as 22. Talon beast charms are meant to be rare, but theres nothing wrong with adding another way to get them. By saying there useless without the level is a poor excuse to not add them. Just wait until you can use those spirit seed to rake in the exp.

You only take 1 damage per kill (when they spawn), its quicker then most other methods, its cheaper then any other maging method and you can pretty much camp there with full guthans until you run out of p pots.

There's next to no reason to install XP over W7. If your concerned get W7 Ultimate or Profession. W7 64bit will run 99.9% of 32bit programs without any hassle and for any which don't use XP mode. 64bit allows you to have more addressable memory, Windows 7 allows for DX10 and DX11 as well as a bungle of other features. As for the peripherals W7 has infact been better at detecting and installing them then any OS I've ever used. Its literally miles better then XP. It detected a keyboard who's makers had been taken over twice and almost completely impossible to buy now from the start.

There about the same. In truth I only kill the babies or KBD (lava titan+uni combo is amazing) as the normal ones are a lot of hassle for there loot.

Anyone tried the new curses for solo bandos? Deflect melee+leech defense+leech attack makes bork a lot easier, so surely adding leech range would help a lot too (10% less damage from the range attack).

If your going in a team (I would highly recommend it at your levels) don't aim for 52 summoning. Any aggressive familiar at bandos/sara will cause more hassle then its worth when in a team. Aim directly for 68+ if your serious about boss hunting.

I had some points in the bank (so to speak) so it took me 1 game for 2 hammers which lasted me most of the exp there (I only remembered SC after smithing 1k of steel bars). Each game is 20 minutes in a standard world or ~15 minutes in a skilling world. It works about 4 to 5 hammers per hour. It will take about 8 to 10 hammers to complete the 55 to 70 stretch which is roughly 2 hours. They effectively half the gp/exp.

Im a little bit confused as to what you meant by the diamond e hitting through the shield. You do realize that it is possible to hit through the shield with any weapon as long as he's not praying? The shield just reduces accuracy and damage; it doesn't nullify attacks. I was unaware you could hit though the shields with normal weapons :-# . Well you learn something everyday.

I got 88 recently (actually got 89 yesterday). I decided to replace my normal setup of 10% attack and strength and veracs/barrows with prossy and piety. Now on a lot of tasks I'm not even using 5 scrolls which makes unicorn a massive over kill (I did a 250 great demon task in 1 sitting and was overhealed with there food drops and SGS, purely in prossy [rune defender+whip]). So far the only tasks worthwhile have been Black Demons (tanking them with a cannon in traverly), Skeletal wyverns and Waterfiends

Its about 270 crims per 1k of bursts. Golds will about half this, greens roughly half the greens. Blues you'll get about 4 per 1k, sometimes more sometimes none. So about 4320 crimsons, 2200 golds, 1100 greens and 70 blues would be a safe guess. Its about 600 casts per hour with bursts, so the 30 hours given above is about right if you include hopping, getting there and the occasional fubar You'd be fine there, there's competition but 95% of people will hop if they see you on a world. Join burstinglobs cc as they are always people looking for door partners, its easy to see which worlds are taken, when anyone in cc leaves a world they will call it out as being free and they will bless any grave within that level of waterbirth.

Making steel plates with SC hammers should put you at about 65 with 3m in supplies. You'll get 1/5 of this back though. Another 3m will put you at 70. You lose about 5m in total, but its a lot lot quicker (I got 54 to 63 using this method in under 1 hour) then making anything which will keep the cost under 3m.

SGS otherwise balmung. SGS's spec helps a big lot.

Did you do this Capture -> Hide display on capture? You have to make sure you crop the screen, Video ->Cropping as it massively reduces the lag. Otherwise it records every little bit of the screen. I'll test the instructions I posted on an older PC and see if I missed something. PS. If anyone wants I can make a few screenshots and knock up a quick mini guide for this EDIT Somethings wrong with one of the setting as this is killing the old PC.

Getting 5 isn't too rare, but 6's are very rare indeed. I never saw a single 6 in over 30 stews (I was boosting for curse of arrav and a few other quests)

Under Device is it set to 0 screen capture? If it is you'll need to find out your resolution. Right click your desktop -> properties -> Settings. Make sure your typing in the same values

Ok I've found pretty much the best settings for virtuadub. Set to capture mode (File -> Capture AVI) Video->Set custom video format ---> Your screen resolution Video ->Cropping Crop to RS window size Capture -> Hide display on capture The video file it outputs will be pretty damn large as its about as good a quality as you could ever need. Now open format factory. All to x->drop the file in the window (pick your favourite video format) Press start and wait. Sure its got one extra step (the conversion), but it allows you to tweak the quality as much as you want. This works with any mode of RS as far as I'm aware, I wouldn't use it for full screen as I tried that and it caused some lag. You can compress the video using virtuadub, but I prefer to have a large high quality video to work with as opposed to having to re-record if I want higher quality. ze trial didnt work u anti pirate nazi! Protection and security for the children comes with money. Naturally a animal is going to pick a mate which has/can provide(d) more food or a better location to survive, then one which is the cannot. Hence money or signs of money being an attractive feature in males.

I thought when summoning was released they listed clues as a source of charms? I can't find anything backing this up, but I'm pretty sure it was there. If would be a nice reward. Maybe add a few of the special charms depending on the locations used. Mort Myre = talon charms, Karajama = obsidian charms and wildy = abyss charms. Personally I would rather 20 talon beast charms to 20 sharks anyday.

Leech special attack would almost completely nullify the effects for high end users of d claws.
