Humans are funny things. They want to be better then everything, but don't want to be on the top. One of the best quotes your ever likely to see on this subject is, strangely, from The Matrix; In my view the only way to right most of the issues with humanity would be wipe every religion off the face of the earth and let people accept responsibility for there own actions. But the sheer thought of there being nothing responsible for your actions would scare a lot of people, as well as the lack of having no-one to run to if you fubar.

Curses would make any rounds with 360's and 180/90's annoying. Every time you deflect some of the damage you get a animation delay. Its not noticeable on most bosses, but lags you when your running. Its extremely annoying at DK's when running to supreme as the spins use range so range deflect=loads of delay/lag.

Theres a few things to note. World 144 is the official and only mass used PC world. Yellow and Red are the most commonly attacked portals, followed by blue then purple. Pick a combat style (melee/range/mage) and use it for the whole game, there's no point in switching styles as games are generally under 3 minutes. Click around brawlers to stand directly next to the portal. This will block all other brawlers and shifters. Take a special weapon like d hally as it does a lot of damage to the portal and hits multiple targets. There's a little trick to line up a few 110+/120+ worlds. When you see someone shouting trade for 1x0+ world add them, if they've got friends blocked add the person who trades then (normally found when they say ty). Use this to line up a few worlds up as odds are they will just be starting up or only have 1 boat full. Its a lot easier then trade half a dozen times as you simple add a few people, wait for them to hop whilst playing PC and get a nice world too.

Some armors/weapons are rising back up now, although I think this is mainly due to the new quests boss. Spectral SS, BGS and AGS are the 3 big ones I've noticed.

If you got it from a shady site then your making a lot of risky decisions. There's a chance its got a virus added in now as well as any keygens downloading a virus for you. If your going to use a program either make sure its free or pay for it. I'll do a few tests with VirtuaDub and see if I can create some settings for RS HD. -
Each picture has to be verified to make sure it doesn't have any pornographic, abusive or otherwise offensive content. This has to be manually done; so if the crew has been busy, there was a large number of requests or anything else they can take a while. I'm sure this will be sorted out very soon.

Abby specs pray mage. Its about 1.5 p pots per full inventory of 3k+ herbs. Using a macaw massively increases the gp per task which more then pays for the prayer potions. Bloodvelds, without your tanking the mutated ones you really should be having any trouble at all. Take about 5 B2P tabs if you really have issues. Waterfiends, pray range and remember to take swallow whole scrolls. In truth they should be dropping more then enough sharks/lobsters then you'll need. None of this are worth the extra hassle of repairing karils. Remember a better offense means you kill the npc faster reducing possible damage.

Its just a rant about your forgetfulness or lack of reading skill? The gnome near the tree can hold spades and the woman/man stood there will sell you one for a price. You knew at one stage you needed a plant pot else how would you have gotten the apple tree there in the first place? You need to water the plant pot too speed up the growing process otherwise it takes forever. Castle wars always has some bias in the games, but thats part of the fun. I've had a few games where there are level 130+'s (or even 120+'s with D claws) lording over the games so I deliberately target them, there nothing quite like the text and events which follow KO'ing them using familiar attack+scrolls+ GS spec (piety). They normally ignore everyone on your team and aim solely for you, only to get piled by a mass of low levels when you retreat a little bit.

Which tasks are you talking about?

Has anyone tried Miasmic spells? I know there expensive, but if they half his attack speed they effectively half the damage you take. Massively reducing the costs of killing him.

It definitely shows in your grave, I use void for GWD, TD's and any non-slayer combat training. I've died a fair few times and it always shows up in the grave.

Virtual Dub, it takes a few minutes to setup just right, but allows you tweak the hell out of the settings. Once you have your file use FormatFactory to compress it if your after adding it to youtube. -
I did another trip last night and noticed that I didn't use any of my food. I seem to only be taking the damage from the other TD's (if my TD is using range and another uses the magic area attack) and the odd melee attack. I'll reduce the food by half and increase the prayer potions as I seem to be using about 2 doses per kill, but I think thats mainly due to using the leech prayer. So I might switch to sap ranger as like you say its the range which hits more. Great advice guys, if anyone else has any more feel free to post.

In duels they see the same combat level as if you was in the PvP with a familiar and well as both parties having to agree to allow familiars.... The trouble with summoning in PvP is your limited to either BoB's, healers and boosters. Without your PK'ing in a group or are 100% sure theres only 1 or 2 people in the multi area. One thing I love about summoning is using combat familiars in PvP minigames. The amount of times in castle wars using a normal attack+scroll+familiar attack has KO'd people is stupid. If only it was possible to use familiars in single PvP, even if it was just the combat scrolls.

1. Master wand if you have it. The staff has negative prayer and lower attack stats. Personally I use void mace as it has a high prayer bonus, good stats as well as the 10% bonus. 2. [blood runes]-[water runes]-[death runes]-[chaos runes] [prossy top]-[earth rune]-[noted pure essence]-[steel arrow] [possy bottoms]-[charm 1]-[charm 2]-[iron arrow] [charm 3]-[charm 4] --[shark/food]-[super restore] [prayer potion]-[prayer potion]-[prayer potion]-[prayer potion] [prayer potion]-[prayer potion]-[prayer potion]-[swallow whole scrolls] [bunyip pouch]-[bunyip pouch]-[bunyip pouch]-[tele tab] If you need to take a rune axe have 1 of the arrows wield then but it back in your inventory once you've used the axe. It doesn't look like many prayer potions, but using the prossy its its 5+ lures per dose (at level 70). The extra place holders soon add up as the earths, pure essence and arrows will pay for some or most of the prayer pots.

Mining is painfully slow and is the reason mines very low. Granite mining is the best exp/hour at your level that I'm aware of, however to make the most of that spot you need a few quests to reduce banking and inventory room (lunar spells or enchanted water tiara). Hunting salamanders are quicker, but grey chins are a nice bit of gp. You do know you can pot to the hunting requirement for Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf right?

The general method is the same setup only with a whip+rune defender or a GS with a spec weapon. Take the range gear so that you can still damage him when he freezes you.

You can trade pouches and scrolls for shards at the orge enclave summoning chappy. Its 70% of the shards per pouch and roughly 50% per 10 scrolls. The trade in level is required the level you need to trade in the scrolls/pouches. The value is the shards *25

You're earned potential will roughly go up by 25% every 30 minutes you are in a hot zone, 10% if you are not in a hot zone, and none at all if you are in a safe zone. You're current earned potential can be seen in the bottom right of your screen with the letters "EP" and a percentage from 0-100. Full EP = 2 hours+ 2m/2=1m/hour Its possible to achieve 1m hour killing green dragons and you get exp. 5m/2=2.5m/hour This is possible boss hunting. All of which are enjoyable, but by the sounds of it your just purely interested in gp and don't actually care about exp, fun, other players or anything apart from gp

For godsake don't do these two. Tricking is screwing up the economy like crazy and merchanting is only making the effects worse. If your going to make money don't trick or group merchant for it. There are far more reliable, more effective, more enjoyable and more worthwhile methods. Please don't screw up the economy any more then it already is.

You can debate if it's opportune to put such a difficult boss fight in a quest. Alot of people wear their quest cape with pride, doing the new quests immediately at day of release without guides. Now those people are forced to train combat skills. You'll say: those whiners! Jagex does what they want. (in other words: we aren't allowed to question their actions, thus reducing us to sheep? ) BUT. The highest skill lvl required nowadays to obtain the quest cape is 75. (spicy stew makes this number even lower) So if we continue on this point: a player with 75 att/str/def/hp/mage/range/summ should be able to defeat this monster, if this isn't the case (let's wait on guides, new techniques, ... to answer this question) it isn't fair in my opinion. Questcape should be obtainable for the average player, not only for combat-based players. Or do you think it would be fair if Jagex made 91 rc a quest requirement? DT, RfD, Blood runs deep, dream mentor, great brain robbery and a few others are all defined as hard due to their combat sections. Were the first people to complete the above quests "average" players? I highly doubt it, they only got easier when people learnt the tricks and tips from these players which made it easier. There were tons of people which died doing the blood runs deep quest even maxed players had trouble with it. Considering its a grandmaster is supposed to be harder, which it is. Now if blood runs deep was harder then a grand master quest boss battle I'm sure you'd complain about that.

Never use any bones lower then dragon for serious training. Your talking 1/3 of the cost for over 10x the time. There's always boss hunting. With your stats you can do pretty much any boss you want.

2009 Highlights, Part 2
JoeDaStudd commented on Troacctid's blog entry in Troacctid's RuneScape Blog
Very nice list. Randoms being number 1 was a surprise. Personally its all the small updates which would get number one for me. Everything from the summoning tab, the quick prayers tab and so on. They are used a lot, but rarely get acknowledged as being completely awesome. EDIT due to a damn typo -
Toast this could do with having the new prayers, new axe and new spells

Opps I typed super defense instead of super strength :wall: . I use the brews as a boost to defense every time I need to pot up (let my hp drop to 60 or so just before).
