People sometimes kill people because they are following what they believe is the word of God. In this aspect the word of God (aka religion) is the source of a problem Religions often promote a set of moral codes which actively encourage violence and intolerence to the so called "unfaithful" it doesn't matter that most say "treat people equally" because almost all also say that only those who worship that individual deity/deities can attain eternal life/ a place in heaven/ paradise. Almost without exception religions do one thing very well which is to separate and divide people into 2 distinct groups and the "faithful" generally believe in their superiority. This is undeniably a source of problems.

Thats stupid. It's the LAW. And she isn't being punished for being a woman. She's being punished for doing something that isn't allowed. You wouldn't know how it is because you haven't live there. If you've also noticed she isn't the only one being punished. No she's not, the man was whipped which was the full extent of the law. The family members who beat the crap out of her are largely not being punished and they were not enforcing the law. They were enforcing their set of moral codes. Her crime was meeting a man who was not a relative, which is not a crime under sharia law.

Thats an ever so slightly stereotypical desciption of Africa. Not all of Africa is like Sudan is at the moment. Agreed. There are many nice places to live in Africa. South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, etc. Sotuh Africa=Nice place to live? Hmm, some bits.... Isn't there like 20something+ murders there a day? |That's what I heard anyway.... More than that, i'd still choose SA over Britain or America though. Crime in South African cities is no higher than anywhere else, its violent crime which is higher. In effect you are as likely to get shot/stabbed or threatened with a gun in Cape Town or Jo'burg than you are to get mugged in London, which is frightening. The thing with SA is that while yes it is developing very quickly, that only helps out the rich and (predominatly) white people. The massive urbanisation makes it very hard to police the cities. Besides I've been to Soweto and other townships, they are still incredibly poor areas and white people are still racist. Not all but most of them. The reason i would stilllive in SA than the UK or US is that most people are genuinely really nice. I didn't meet a single person who i wouldn't want to be friends with (besides one or two white people) I met an Ethiopian guy in Soweto who gave me his house number and told me to get in contact with him when and if i go back in 2010 or any other time. I don't think I've ever met anyone like that, and there was a country full of those type of people. Places i wouldn't want to live are Glasgow - its crap Luton - its also crap. China - censorship Zimbabwe - Mugabi no likey white folks I'm open to pretty much anywhere really.

i didnt realise it at the time but i was very lucky.. I was playing castlewars and wearing full dragon (this was back when the chain alone was worth about 32 m) and there was a server update. Turns out i got poisoned just before the update and then it logged me out. when i logged back in i was on like 6 health and the poison effect was still going. I banked fast lol

nah they wont because there will always be one or two sitting around in someones bank who rarely plays. They will continue to get more and more rare though with individuals collecting alot at a time then usually getting banned for real world item trading.
