I lol't at the post :) But what kind of specs do you need? What programm should I use to get all the specs? Im so glad at least someone is trying to help, Im so frustrated right now :x

Holy [cabbage], yesterday I've spent at least 11 or so hours setting up xp on my vista, and finally got it to work with a boot manager an all. Today... AARGG I install xp, but it doesnt detect my video card. I've tried installing latest nvidia drives, but none of them work, infact the "Display" Menu in the Device manager has disapeared at all. When I try to dxdiag, and go to the graphic card option, It just says N/A for everything. Hours of googling have been fruitless and I feel like I'm gonna punch my computer out. Something called "VGASave" is running instead of my video card, which is default when someone's graphic card is broken, undetectable or whatever other reason. Aparantly everyone else have been having this problem for a loong time, and ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF. Funny thing is, when I boot up Vista, it detects my card no problem, it runs everything perfectly and all that. WTF Specs: Nvidia GeForce 8200M G 256mb - graphics card 3 Gigs of Ram AMD Turion x2 RM 70 - 2.0 GHz Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 3. If you help me with this, I'll lick be your slave forever.

I updated the question and I have new problems now :)) Also GRUB looks like a linux programm, but I might as well install linux anyways since i always wanted one, what version do you guys reccomend? Still looking for a Multi-booter Though

Basiacly I Installed XP just now, on my main laptop, and as soon as I start it up, it just loads XP right away, not even giving me an option to load Vista (yea-yea I tried F8). Does anyone know a programm that will let me choose which OS i wanna use before I start my session? Weirdest PART: I had 60 gb on my c drive. I've split it into two parts (40gb left for vista and 20 gb for xp). After I installed the XP i checked disk C and it had 0 bytes of free memory, 100% full!!! Does anyone know how that could've happened? I uninstalled a game and I have 2Gb left, but i need the other 40 or so gb. Update: I found a wireless driver, so I can go on the internet now, and I'm gonna download latest drivers and Service pack 3, but I still need an OS booter.

Trapical, I didn't know you personally but after reading your posts (especially the one about drugs and the 10th day) I've been looking at the world as if with eyes of somebody much older. I truly, with all of my heart, thank ye for those threads I would never imagine that a simple post on a forum could change my life so much. Please, somebody try to look for the posts, as my copies died after my computers hard drive crashed.

Hey guys, as some of you might know, I purchased a laptop lately and I'm enjoying it quite a bit although I do have some general computer questions, that somebody might just be kind enough to answer :) * Does anybody know of a program that will let you exit to desktop, no matter what other program I am running? - For some games (such as Oblivion) when I play full screen and I need to access something else on my computer other then the game, the "Exit to Desktop Button" (between ctrl, fn and alt) does not do anything, even if i go into the game menu it does nothing? * My computer rigs are: AMD Turion Duo Core 2.0 Ghz 3GB of DRAM Nvidia GeForece 8200M G Now I have a few question about that too: - It says I have Duo Core 2.00GHZ, does that mean I have 2 processors? And does that also mean 2 processors at 2.00 GHZ, I have 4.00GHZ? Or what? Whats the difference between One and Duo Cores? - For my graphic card it says I have 256MB Dedicated Video Memory and 1151MB Shared Video Memory. Whats the Difference between the two and how do I turn the 1151MB on (I don't think it is) * How do I increase my Frame Rate in Games? Look at my specs, and yet in Oblivion I only get around MAX 14 Frames Per Second, but I read other people with 2GB of Ram and like 7200 graphic cards, get 30 Frame Per Second. Thats with all the game setting at the low-mid, with shadows and distant view turned off. Hey guys I just bought Guild Wars (Platinum Edition) yesterday and it seems like an uber fun game, with really good graphics and what looks like, a good story line. Tell me your Name in game, which version You are Playing and maybe some other info :) I'll upload some screen shots later, because right now I'm in my Block A Computers class, remotely controlling my laptop that's at home and games run really slowly :) I really haven't gotten much of a chance to play other MMORPGS so I'd love to hear your opinions on the game, or maybe compare it to other games (I sense a WoW vs Guild Wars war :o ). I have one problem with the game though, it seems that it's really empty, even in big towns there are not any more then 30 players max, which is a bit of a problem to me because I like player-player interaction. I teamed up with another guy but he had to go soon, so it got a tad boring, killing st00f by myself. Hopefully, I'll meet some dawgs on here and we can pwn some nubzors. Also I hate how you can't jump in the game and that there are a lot of invisible walls, I feel a bit limited. I have a level 4 Elementalist (Lord Erchov) on the Prophecies and a level 4 Necroman (Rune Necro) on Fractions, so message me up and hopefully we can play together sometime. Also maybe we can create a tip.it clan, so if one of us logs in, we can always find some homies to play with. Note: I used the search button and I didn't find any topic with Guild wars in it, and looked at over 50 posts and most of them were Runescape related anyways.

It's HP, and thats not a bad computer yourself (except for HD space :) ) But after like 3 days of torrenting I only have 110GB left! Guess I'll have to buy a removable harddrive, or all of my games won't fit :)

Wow that laptop blows some serious crap. I have Duo core 2.0ghz (like 2.5 times faster then yours) 3GB of ram (3 times of urs) 320GB Harddrive Space (4 times :) ) Plus Nvidia Geforce 8200M G graphics card that can run any game i throw at it at the highest setting (except for oblivion). And on and on and I only bought this for 600$. You can do MUCh better then that.

Haha, brings some good ol' memories. I think I might actually (not to sounds like a jackass I probably isn't) invented that whole fly up, use rock bomb then huge boulder/lightning to kill the opponent on the first day of arrcanists, I play for so long that day and got up to 1950 rating (it was harder then) and haven't seen anyone using that. I just downloaded oblivion, it's uber fun, I played 9 hours in total now, but still on the quest where I have to talk to the kings son and then enter the oblivion gate to close it. I keep dying there and it bring me to these questions: - What are the ingredients for minor, regular and large health potions? (and preferably where to find them) - I'm usually always close to the max limit weight, is there a place where I can put some of my stuff and come back later to get it? - I have alot of stolen goods and I wanna sell them but I think I need to be in a Thieving Guild, where and how do i get inside of it? I just love the freedom of whatever, its just so much fun! Oh and also where can I get some better destruction spells? THANKS ALOT.

I Have no idea what you're talking about cause I run at utra-high detail settings, with all the shadows and such turned on and it runs uber-smooth, excacly same as the lowest graphics option.. EDIT: Just loaded up Runescape and it runs HD, with everything at the highest (including X4 anti-alising) absolutely perfectly. Is there no end to this laptop lol?
