  1. On request, the 7 pictures + text stolen from another guide and site (and not credited) have been removed. Guides in this forum need to be self made and properly credited. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator
  2. Hi all, If you are interested in joining the live draw of round 3 of TICT, you are more than welcome to join #clans on Swift.irc tomorrow, Thursday, March 11th 9 pm GMT (4 pm EST). The results will also be posted in an announcement in the TICT forum. Laikrob, Clan Staff
  3. It's a little late, but I will be there if I can stay awake. The title of the topic lured me in....
  4. With the introduction of Constitution and Life Points, it's time for a new Max Hits thread. Do your worst!
  5. It happens sometimes after a forum reboot, will poke a tech Admin about it. :)
  6. Laikrob replied to Raee's topic in General Discussion
The bug is now fixed, and unless another Moderator or Administrator decides otherwise this topic will remain open. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator
  7. To add to that, feel free to use the "Report post" function and help us catch posts like that. We can't read through all topics, and even when we do, we sometimes automatically skip and don't notice spammy posts because they are... spammy and add nothing. Just like regular users do, since we are that aswell as moderators. :)
  8. Draws done, results can be found here. Laikrob, Clan Staff.
  9. Ref this topic. Since DV is now leaving, there will no more beef, hamburgers, dead horses or spam to get out of this topic. Laikrob, Clan Staff.
  10. As much as I respect your reasons for leaving, I also respect your wishes to keep Tip.It and DV a bit sheltered from the worst flames and flamebaits. You have now announced that you are leaving, and while we normally would leave such a topic open, you are also aware of how fast this topic will turn into a flamefest - in fact you point out how you are the most hated clan. Those who want to wish DV good luck can still do so in a PM or similar, but you all know that this topic will turn into Trollheim very fast if left open. None of us (or at least very few) want that. A few posts will be removed, but the topic will be left in public of course. :) Best of luck to DV and their members. Laikrob, Clan Staff.
  11. Thanks for the feedback. :) This is the first time we make this kind of tournament, and especially the 2v2 has been a challenge to make work as intended. Constructive feedback is vital for us to be able to make improvements, both during the tournament and in the future. As you have already seen in the "rollback" of the redraw of the 2v2, we do listen to what is being told to us. It's not just something we say to make it sound good, or to make us look better. We actually do want to make this tourney as good as it can be. Please keep the constructive feedback coming, we will use it wisely. :^_^: Laikrob, Clan Staff
  12. Yes, we had fun with it aswell. Especially the feedback. Which lead to the decision to undo it. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Free cookies over here, look shiny!
  13. About the redraw: http://forum.tip.it/topic/257459-important-about-the-2v2-lineup-the-redraw-canceled/

  15. There is a topic like that already in the Tourney forum: http://forum.tip.it/topic/257274-round-1-predictions/ Laikrob, Clan Staff
  16. Quote pyramids are SO 3 years ago. But seriously, don't. It's annoying to scroll through, and if your post gets removed.... Well, it doesn't give free post count. Topic pruned, lots of personal attacks and spam. Don't feed the troll-a-be... If your post was accidentally removed even if it wasn't offensive or contained personal attacks or links to videos with inappropriate stuff.... Well, I apologise. It was probably because you happened to quote one of the aforementioned, or it was a misfire. PM me if you want a copy of your post, it's all saved somewhere. Laikrob, Clan Staff
  17. None of the "fun" censors were changed. The point of a censor is not really that you're supposed to be able to use offensive words - just in transferred versions. Cabbage now has a transferred meaning on Tip.It, which is okay. But some more offensive words just should never have that, and you aren't supposed to be able to guess every filtered word from what they are censored to. If that was the case, we might aswell just have dropped the censor in the first place - as people would have used those word as insults instead. In fact, that has even happened with "cabbage" and "gardening tool" already. When everybody knows the meaning of the replacement word, it loses its censoring effect. Laikrob, Moderator
  18. Key word here is "recommended". :^_^: Better to have tried and failed than never to have being vidded for failblog.org - or something like that. Nah, seriously just give it a try. It's not like you are far off 6 months, either. :)
  19. Please apply if you are interested - don't expect someone better to come by and get the position (you could be that "someone better"). :^_^: We are asking for this, because the Clan Staff simply don't have the time and some of us aren't HTML-ishly skilled enough to do this on our own. Yep, we have failed at making the clan site as good as it deserves to be and that it has the potential to become, because we have had to give other things a higher priority. That doesn't mean we have forgotten it, so we are asking you for help. This is your chance to improve the site and show off your skills! Thanks and good luck to those who choose to apply! <3:
  20. Oropher: How is this a troll thread? This was debated a lot when the option came out, as many thought muted people should not be able to use Quick Chat. (Also, the OP has been registered for over two years with less than 20 posts, what are you on about with quality > quantity? :???: ) Your reply borderline breaking the Debate club rules, tbh. On topic: Personally I think that it depends what they were muted for in the first place and how they use the Quick Chat. In most cases, QC prevents abuse, harrassment and breaking RS rules, which means that problem is solved. In a few cases, people abuse the QC aswell - using it to spam or make inappropriate combinations. As a clan chat mod in a fairly busy chat, I have seen this a few times. I wonder if Jagex ever removes the Quick Chat option from muted people? :-s
  21. Awesome idea, maybe it could have some stickies with tutorials and such aswell for those of us who would like to learn but are useless? :^_^:
  22. Your post was deleted because it was another one in what seems to be a series of yours, taking jabs at DV. 1) The OP asked to keep this flame free (that also includes flame bait) 2) While the clan section has very relaxed rules compared to the rest of the forum, that doesn't mean that every day is flame day. 3) Are you confusing this with a forum that encourages flaming, baiting and making snide comments about your personal beef on every topic? Well, you must have clicked the wrong link. Next time if you have a problem with a deleted post, send a PM to Das or a clan staff member.
  23. Please use this topic for posting screenshots. (For the person commenting on this being a picture of a Jagex message; He didn't post the Jagex message, just a picture of his inbox.) Laikrob, Tip.it Moderator
