A.) Jagex did ban a HUGE amount of autoers en masse B.) Jagex banned all of their accounts. Nothing stops them from creating new accounts to act as bots again. Mass banning and banning their main accounts only act as a deterance, something to make them stop and think "Well I just lost 500 Million gold pieces and hundreds of items. Is it really worth it just to Auto again and run the risk of being banned after getting so much? Maybe I should try going legit this time." C.) Jagex does what it can. We see more people complain about getting banned for saying "Check out Tip.it" or "Why don't you just google it" because those are the only people that post about it. Not many autoers come to the forums saying "Jeez louise! I just got banned by Jagex for autoing! Why can't they let me auto in peace, it's just a game". We do hear people complain about being banned for autoing but they claim they never did auto, but very few here can be held accountable to their Internet Word (of honor, a.k.a. saying something under oath).

Ali Morrisane is trying to become the Wal-Mart of his day and age. We go around trying to build up business for him and get all sorts of items for him to sell at rock bottom prices. Sooner or later he's going to learn the Rune Essence Teleportation spell and sell Essence for 3 gold pieces each. But it could be a relative of Ali Morrisane or him under a pen name. I'd be glad to see Jagex making a distant connection between two quests that pans out to be something much bigger. Props to you on finding it in the first place.

Runescape isnt all about skills. Then what is it about? Is it about making money? Would you rather be spending your time typing as fast as you can saying "Selling Abby Whip 3Mil!" or doing skills and gaining levels? Is it about Pking? That still requires skills as well as a skill and tactic that cannot be earned over the game a real pker will know how to plan an attack, but they still need combat skills. 90% of the game is about skills (Quests, Fighting, Running is affiliated with a skill!) the 10% that remains is the Merchants who feel as if they can control an economy. So you're technically right Runescape isn't all about skills, just for nearly all of it is about skills.

You know what, Jagex needs to stick to a series. Knock them all out within three months (maybe one large quest update a month for the series). We've got Mournings Ends to wrap up, The Giant Dwarf Series, they've released a couple new ones, the list can probably go on and on. Are they going to have one big tie-in? We know that the Dwarves are working with the Gnomes, but does this have anything to do with the Elves or Pirates? Only time will tell. Great guide and I'm glad that it's still around.

How do you even know that there are only 10 of them? There is barely any information and Jagex does not confirm anything about the mini-game or release any information about it. Is there only room for 10 banners on the wall which your banners hang? You never know if there are even more and more banners to get up.

Wait a second... it happened on both ends? He should be teleported to the wilderness before he could even type anything to you. Your machine shouldn't have been effected if it was his machine that was lagging and his machine shouldn't have been effected if it was your machine. Strange... Sure you'll see this happen sometimes, but it's your computer lagging and they would already see themselves in somewhere new. I could be wrong though :? .

Those are some truly nice pics. I wasn't a big community guy back in RSC. I fought, did quests, never ventured past the Giant guarding the way into deeper wilderness (by the Ghost and ruins very far east), and I raised up some skills, I wish I had played for a longer time back then and had actually played for the year in between the creation of my character and actual dedication to the game. Always good to see some RSC pics.

Oh my goodness. I once thought of a silly idea called Mystic Hammer which would smith a bar of some metal into an object that you could normally smith. It was funny because it would have completely destroyed the balance of things. I'd say yes because it would make smithing a whole heck of a lot easier (Bring nature runes, fire staff, pick axe, portable anvil and you've got yourself one easy arrangement). But I officialy say no because Smithing is supposed to be hard, the skills are supposed to be difficult which is why asking to change them hardly ever works.

Here is my lastest creation The Runescape Quiz! This runescape quiz came out of being bored while crafting Fire Runes not through the Duel Arena teleporting. The purpose of the game is to answer as many questions as you can in 2 minutes (120 seconds). The ranking goes just like the armours. Bronze-Dragon. Hmm.... the new Pirate Island could be the focus of the game, you simply float around there and have an all out brawl with everyone else, no transporting, simply Pking in the wilderness with no Loot drops. But still I think being able to lose your ship and whatnot would be much better.

Wow. That's alot of time. I play only occasionally on the weekdays and maybe a couple hours on the weekends.

Either you are not reading it correctly, you're signing up for another task without realizing it (as in you go back to the guy and click on I need another assignment without actually intending to do so) or this is indeed a bug. I doubt the possibility of it being an actual bug unless many people are experiencing with this with all of their assignments.

Did you ever hear about World 2's nearly 24/7 Temple building? Log onto World 2 and go there and you'll see a huge group of people there.
