the way I look at it: Runecrafting rewards = a quest to unlock a new type of rune to craft. I would imagine we would either get blood (or soul? :P ) crafting, or a new rune that would allow summoning. Maybe a new skill (not magic) that uses runes, or it might just be a new type of magic (like ancients & lunar).

I was just thinking about this a day or two ago. Didn't think of posting a topic on it though... :-k anyway, the song "Sieze the Day" by Avenged Sevenfold reminds me of the tree gnome village. I was reading the forums or something, while keeping my character logged in. I guess I was on Avenged Sevenfold when I clicked repeat, and the song repeated like 6 times before i noticed it.

Actually, in five or ten years tops, bandwidth speeds will be approaching 100-400GBps. Yes, that's Gigabytes. Transferring an average sized hard drive's contents in less than a second won't be a problem by then. In truth I think I may have been overgenerous with my five years estimate. If things continue with the lack of top-end support for higher levels, it'll lose two years off of my initial estimation, so 3 years. If it adds another restrictive rule such as rule 15 again, it'll lose another year off of that. If they outlaw fansites, they'll lose all but six months. By that time, the RS membership population will become stagnate and just drop off to other games. Don't know what to tell you, but from where I'm sitting, the future does not look good for Jagex or RuneScape. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that puts your estimation at 1.5 years. Somehow I cant see it gone by 2009.

actually, that would be much better for alchers, and wood cutters. Faster nats + lower prices = same profits for rcers. Lower nat prices = lower material cost for alchers. Lower cost for alchers = demand increase for supplies. Demand increase for supplies = logs & longs go up. Nats also go up in price slightly. That means more money for alchers. More money for wood cutters. More money for fletchers. More money for runecrafters. The only down side is slightly more inflation.

He was probablly just joking around... Why do people generalize high levels that joke around/wear low level stuff/ are ignorant as PC products? I was walking around today in full bronze, begging for 10gp. If they gave me 10gp I would change into full rune and give them 5k. If they gave me 100gp, I would change into full rune + blue mask and give them 10k. If they called me a noob, I would wear my full rune + blue mask and say "am I still a noob?" When you see a lvl 115 at rock crabs or experiments, you know they are pc products. Umm that doesn't make sense.
