I use: proselyte top and bottom fury (switch for holy symbol or glory for cheap set up) dragon boots unholy book slayer helm spottier cape (I don't have one that boosts offence/prayer, use a sara god cloack if you want) Whip I go the the zamorak spirit mages, as they are the weakest. I do not bring a saradomin Item, I take a couple of food for the run towards the zamorak area. Bring a special weapon (I use DDS), about 10 ppots (4 dose) and a holy wrench. Super attack and strength potions of course. I finish the task with 10 (4) ppots most of the time. Good luck!

If it is the same helm you can get from the dagganoths in the CT, alch it.

Never had luck drops. Only perseverance drops (read:slayer). This is partially why my net worth is <50M

Get Ava's accumulator when ranging.

If you are so sure about this "summer crash", sell them now. Why would claws crash in the summer? My guess would be that the majority of the (schoolgoing) RS players have more time on their hands, thus demand could go up.... Then again, my merching skill is 1, so what do I know....

Not to mention there is a fairy ring right outside the cave for fast 'n easy banking!
-
Block the ones you hate most. Metal dragons ARE slow xp however. As for the hell hounds: they only drop gold charms and clue scrolls. They are always crowded. There are only a few together (unless you go to deep wilderness). For me a reason to skip them.

Talk to the gnome in the cave where the crystal bowl is, I forgot the dude's name. I think you get another seed from him.

Farming and MTK(this is my last question, i swear).

The quests don't take long, you should be done in an hour or 2 tops. I have no idea how much money you'll make per day, as I use most of the resources myself, rather then selling them. Do you want herblore xp? If you do, make potions. The herbs are more profit, the potion (depending on how you get the second ingredient) is less profit or even a los. I always do clues at the end of my slayer task. You could break away for every clue, but I find it too much of a hassle. -
Daily activities for steady cash (especially in the long run). Buy/sell battle staves from Zaff -> requires varrock armour 3 Get 120 free flax from...errr...Flax -> requires Seers headband 3 Get sand from Bert -> requires "Hand in the sand" quest MTK -> Requires "Throne of Miscellania" and "Royal trouble" Buy cheap seaweed and pineapples from Arhein at Catherby docks the secret of accumulating cash is cutting spending (as stated before). I never buy potions and food, as I make/fish them myself. It gives me XP, plus I don't have to spend my hard earned cash to get it. I hate the term "opportunity cost" so don't slap it in my face. I know I'm not The most efficient RSer out there but i like it that way. Fishing monks can be a good income at 81 fishing, sharks are slower. Slayer combined with farming worls well for me. Between tasks I do a herb run. If I get a clue from a task, I do it when I'm done with the task, just for fun. I might actually give you something nice, you almost always profit from a lvl3 clue.

Just read your guide (quickly) I think treasure trails and barrows chest loot also fall in the "bonus drop" category, thus they are not affected by the ROW.
-
Are you a believer? I always use a ROW when a monster has a "rare" drop (whip, d bow, etc). It's all odd at the end of the day. Some people are lucky, and the don't "need" a ROW, and get a lot of rare drops. And, by the way, the draconic visage is considered a "bonus drop" (stated somewhere by JaGEx) and this is why a ROW doesn't affect the chance to get it. The same applies to the animal heads (the ones you can get stuffed and place at your POH) and some other stuff.

If you want to train only strength, SS is very, very good. XP wise, whip + defender is better, but it doesn't train only strength. I usually train on controlled, so I get strength xp anyways. Obsidian necklace + obsidan sword < SS. The main downside of a SS is that you loose the shield spot, but as said before, potting up should compensate for that a bit. Since it has a crush attack (which the whip lacks) I use it for waterfiends and gargoyles mostly.

+ they open new areas, skills, teleports, equipment and most of them give a nice XP reward as well.

Is gettig back my Fighter Torso worth it?
transcript80 replied to gorgoroth's topic in Help and Advice
In your other thread you mention you do slayer a lot. Stick with whatever (barrows) armour you have nowm and slay for cash (=Duradel/Lapalok) to buy Bandos. MTK and farming help to get money faster, buying C-balls for slayer doesn't... 8-) -
Is gettig back my Fighter Torso worth it?
transcript80 replied to gorgoroth's topic in Help and Advice
As games are meant to be fun, I'd ask myself one question: Do I enjoy playing BA? If yes -> get it If no -> don't. There's other gear with low def but with strength bonus, like bandos. -
Spicy stews (from evil Dave) can boost +6 max, but it is random....You might end up using LOTS of stews. Better get another 3 levels and use a garden pie, that boosts +3 100% of the time. +9 is not possible, stews and pie don't stack. You might use the farming boosting familiars, but I'm quite sure that their invisible boosts don't stack with other items.

thanks, I'll try and speak to him.... edit: yes it worked!

This is the deal. I lost my cannon. I probably left it somewhere, forgot to pick it up, or had to teleport away. I did NOT die. Tip.it guide says that I can get a replacement for free, but not WHERE! I'm at the dwarf oupost now, but the dwarf has no chat option for getting my cannon back, or one where I could buy one from him for that matter. I want to get my cannon back, paying 600k again would be a bit wasteful. But I need one soon as my next slayer task is scabarites. Thanks in advance.

Cheap: serum 207. Requires a tarromin (which is cheap) and ashes as secondary ingredient. You can pick up ashes for free from the firemakers for example in the GE.
-
Take a look at the main page. there was a graphicalupdate today that concerned whips, among others. Its attack speed has not been changed.

Guess who just got assigned to kill 180 abyssal demons? ;) I hope they are not that crowded now. A whip drop might just be the thing I need. But I think my luck is gone for a while after getting a dark bow drop on my very first dark beast assignment...Meh... -
You need to have started the "mountain daughter" quest. Not sure wether you need to have finished it though.
-
Duel ring banking might be faster, as you don't need to recharge. Castle wars bank is a one-click bank -> more convenient. Also a ring has more charges then amulet, so you don't have to change that often. Duel rings cost very little, about 1k ea.

Last time I checked, orange trees make a slight profit. The seed costs less then a basket of oranges (and you harvest 6 oranges, not 5!!), but I don't know about current prices. Also, when doing willows, cut the branches to minimise losses. They are wanted by summoners.
