Agreed. I think this has also lead to people taking critique as if we're trying to be offensive. I actually avoid posting sometimes, because if I state my opinion and critique, the creater will get defensive and ask for sympathy, because it's their first and such. I absolutely hate it when people post without real reason or value, all 100 and something posts of mine have actually been meaningful not just 1000/10 it r0x! Bleh.

Well, the problem seems to be, that runehq.net and runehq.com fails to you know, work, when I type in te url. Every other url I type in works. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Note that it fails to load on both firefox, opera and ie. There's also a minute chance, that in an attempt to take over the rs fansite community, tip.it has blocked runehq from us all, somehow. :lol: Your thoughts?

Seems like this topic could lead to flaming or something, due to the whole "rich" or "poor" nature of it. Your room is nice, but mine is bigger!@, etc. ;P Your living room is too centered around the television (I can't really speak since I have six televisions, in my house), but I hate that set up. I'd go and take some pics, but my room is kind of dull, I hardly ever sleep in it anyways, and it's dark, so I can't take photos of my house ;O Cad, I don't have posters, they make you room look cheap, imo.

It's just a ploy to get attention, and if it isn't, well the individual knows they will recieve attention. If you don't want to be labelled as a wrist-cutting, depressed youth, don't dress like those who are. Anyways if you're weak enough to dress like that, for the sake of popularity, it's more likely you'll fall into skipping school and taking drugs, then the rest of us. I dress like a normal person, I wear t-shirts, and jeans usually (in winter). Clearly not to be labelled, but because I like the way they look and they are comfortable. I admit, I have conformed to given in to popular culture, by wearing expensive brands and such, but I don't wear, the clothes I wear for social reasons. Oh and hair, don't get a haircut that makes you look like someone who gets stereotyped. Duh. I don't even have a hairstyle. Lol. Stop complaining because people stereotype you. If you dress and look like an "Emo", then people will stereotype you.

On a different tone, a girl at my school made some artworks out of cigarette butts, "An attempt to make something beautiful, out of something hideous." You can't push smoking aside and let it be their business. It's killing them, perhaps we should do something about it. My mother used to smoke, and I would cry and cry, because I thought she was going to die before I would be an adult. The fact is, children's parents die from cancer, and the children have to do without, yet some of you just let it be their problem. As for cigarette butts, yes they suck, we know. I don't think there's a disagreement there. Howsaboot we all go stop the corporations who don't seem to think carbon trading is stupid, because it's probably going to our problem when the earth heats up, and we'll have to deal with the previous generations' mess.

.. let me explain something, black lines are actually giving it more quality because (no offense) but the way "line-art coloring" is done here kills the depth of the piece. People somehow seem to believe that slapping a shade that is a little higher as outline is helping your piece out.. this is NOT true. coloring outlines can be good but (no offense) not the way it is done here. i'll be happy to give you some examples. oh Lovelydude, i'm editting to :P only people i have done or am not busy with at all is Despaxes and that dude to the left with his purple jacket. and i sort of just started with fanzoo a second ago. Quer I agree with the outlines point, but when I updated me, I changed the outlines that had been put on me, so it would actually look normal, not like sprites for an rpg. I know the pose is possible, but it is confusing. It'll make more sense when it's done, I suppose. Could stand to go basically means, could be done without. For the record, the you know what, affects the way you stand, and tends to make the clothes covering that area, somewhat closer to the viewer. Your post didn't sound mean, just niave, though mine probably sounded a bit arrogant. :lol:

The pose is rather confusing, it seems as if he's leaning away from the stick thing. Apart from the fact, that this is almost impossible, considering the position of his legs (unless the stick is in motion), it looks plain odd. Part of the torso could stand to go, the legs are just fine. The neck needs to be a tiny bit thicker and longer, and his biceps could be less pointy, and his left tricep, smaller. Why doesn't he get a special grey for his crotch?

Dithering isn't really necessary if you're going to use a few million colours. Also, vary it, but don't make it messy.

How does this avatar concept sound? Animated of course. One shiny box, opening, revealing a smaller box, zooming into the smaller box, so that it become the replica of the original box, then repeating the frames. (infinite) I think that'd look very "Hawt".
