I thought there may be some people who want to 'pie up' to get 80/85 slayer for whip/dark bow drops?

I'm heading towards 85 cooking and I am going to have a go at raising some cash by making wild pies. He is where I plan on getting the ingredients from: Flour - Yanille cooking shop Pie Dishes - Yanille cooking shop Water - RFD chest Chompy - No choice, east of Feldip Hills Rabbit - No choice, woodland hunting area Bear - Argougne coal mine Are there any better options than those locations? Has anyone any experience of selling wild pies via the GE, are they easy to sell? Can you find any of the meats for sale on the GE to cut down on time spent makign them? Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. Yeah you need a normal log per trip, you also need a tinderbox so you can plank 26 logs at a time.
  4. Or you can grow a nasturtium to protect watermelons.
  5. I think that timeframe is applicable to all deaths, whether in the "old wild" or by a non-wild monster.
  6. Not sure what you mean when you say cut the oak logs. Do you mean plank? If you want a faster but more expensive way, use your butler to unnote the oak loags and then take them to the sawmill. To save money, you could plank them yourself, the quickest way would be using the Castle Wars balloon in combination with dualling rings. I would aim for 69 instead of 67, with a crystal saw and tea that will boost you to 75, which means guilded alter time. Invaluable to train your prayer on. Oh, and I would always use a demon butler over the cook. That's just my twopenneth worth.
  7. Also use MTK to get nests via gathering Maples, this will give you a decent amount of tree seeds.
  8. The answer to that question has probably changed on the back of today's updates. If you were going to do the assignment, I would 3 item it at first to see how much damage the new wildy NPCs dish out. Apparantly they are quite brutal.
  9. If you have done the quest, Watchtower tele is the best option for the Yanille hops patch.
  10. It's to the West I believe not the east. I find the quickest way of getting there is via the fairy ring that is right by the entrance.
  11. Sounds more like Jagex bumping the prices to clear the backlog of minimum price sell orders. Depending on how many people re-offer their items a the new minimums, it should help to clear out the GE a bit and make selling a little easier.
  12. I sold 5k cooked tuna at 90 ea. I had them on the exchange for around 3 days, and the price didn't move throughout that period.
  13. MTK

If you want to make money, i'd stick to maples, coal and flax. Flax prices seem to have gone down recently, so I would do 10 workers on coal and 5 on maples. Seeds and nests from maples helps to bump up profits. I tend to put 1.2m in which lasts a week.
  14. Hmm maybe those eggs from nests will be used for summoning...I think I'll buy some too :-k I'm pretty sure that they are untradable.
  15. Aren't they? In another thread you have been very critical of Jagex for getting the initial pricing on some items off market prices. Now, you are being critical of them for trying to adjust the prices to be closer to market prices. If you are going to be so critical about what a lot of people (me included) think is a great update, at least be consistent.

Hi all, Is there an un/official world for ZMI runecrafting? Thanks in advance
  18. This guide should help. Guide
  19. No it won't. there seems to be a lot of people posting who haven't actually read the development diary.
  20. Can anyone think of any existing items that could be used in the new skill, that it would be sensible to stock up on in advance? For example, the price of logs went up as construction was released, and those that had stocked up in advance were laughing.
  21. MTK is another good option for obtaining herbs, they cost 826.4 each and you always get Tarromin+. The maximum you can get on a daily basis (assuming you have done both quests, and have 10 workers on herbs) is only 61 though.
  22. If you can get to 65 slayer, you can gain a steady profit from herbs and seeds dropped by spectres, along with the odd clue and lava battlestaff. A canfis tele in your house and 61 slayer to use the shortcut in the slayer tower would ensure your trips are fairly fast.
  23. You should maintain your daily balance at 750k or higher. the reason being that the maximum that can be invested in materials on a daily basis is 75k (10%). Personally I put in 1.2m and that lasts me for a week. I tend to top up my favour a couple of times a week, i'd advise chopping maples or mining coal as the quickest way to increase %. I would advise to do a combination of flax, coal or maples to get maximum profit.
  24. Do we know this for sure? I don't remember seeing anything specific in the BTS article. Time will tell I guess.

The other thing you might want to consider is the NPC Contact lunar spell. This allows you to contact any of the slayer masters from anywhere. The major downside to this though is that whist on lunar, you can't access high alc.
