  1. Whilst they are guaranteed to open, you can "fail" them. This is when you get scarabs, and you earn 0 thieving xp.

Since the re-work of the rewards the pick is now as good as a rune pick.
  3. The new BTS indicates that they will be updating a lot of existing content, and in my opinion RC and Mining should be near the top of things to be done skills wise, so maybe you are on to something!
  4. Alternatively you can right click and chose the option "dismiss now" which will cut out the chat options. Makes it a lot easier when you are in a rush, as you will be.
  5. I think you can thieve charms from certain chests.
  6. You could always try strawberries instead of watermelon, as they stack in baskets (5).
  7. I already have a skills hall, that has stairs leading up to bedrooms. Could I put an additional set of stairs downwards, or would I have to build a second skills hall?
  8. Don't forget the slayer helm also adds defense bonus.
  9. When I hit 74 construction I plan to switch from building oak larders to oak dungeon doors. I don't have a dungeon currently, what would be the easiest way to incorporate one in to my house? I will only be using the dungeon for building oak doors, so really I'm looking for the cheapest option. Thanks in advance.
  10. Don't rings of forging stack no matter how many charges are left?
  11. Why on earth would you do that when you could buy a completed shield for 200k less?
  12. I'd also suggest to use a ROW, it seemed to help me out a fair bit with the speed of drops.
  13. ROW does not impact how many nests you get from WC, wearing a strung rabbit's foot does.
  14. Just alch it, nothing more profitable/useful can be done.
  15. If you are maging the 4 melee brothers, slayer dart is a popular spell to use, which has a requirement of 55 slayer. Barrows can be done at surprising low levels, but it means you will need a load of pray pots and won't make a profit. If you are serious about making profit, i'd suggest 55 slayer, 70 melee's, 50+ pray.
  16. You could always use a nature ammy, easy to check if they have grown that way.
  17. I get around 8k agility, and 15/20k for mage and range.
  18. Distractions and diversions, star mining.
  19. You could use MTK to get nests via maple logs, and hope the nests contain the seeds you want. Also you could by moleskins and claws and trade them in for nests. It's all down to luck though in what seeds you will get.
  20. I've heard that it should be around 4-5 hours, not tried myself though.
  21. A skillers mini-game that doesn't give XP and has meh rewards Smithing (80-88) 25,765 Bars with SC (13.39M) 38,338 Bars w/o SC (19.93M) 12,573 Bars difference (6.54M) I really dont mind saving nearly 16 hours and 6.54M, 33% less time and money is a huge advantage. You need to factor in the time taken to obtain the tools. Given the fact you can only purchase 1 per game the max you can get is 3 per hour. Therefore it will take 8 hours ish to get the 24 tools needed. That cuts the time saving in half, but the tools are still of great benefit. On a sidenote Jagex have announced their plans for the rework of the rewards, details here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=771509&start=0
  22. It used to be 170, and is now 171 I think.
  23. Here is what I tend to do. - I grab 64 battlestaves if I am in Varrock as it only takes 2 mins, but I don't make a special trip for them. - I top up MTK to 100% a couple of times a week, and collect the loot around every fortnight. Easy ~75k profit per day. - I do TOG every week, free 10k rc xp for 5 mins work is great. - I get sand from Bert only when I am on Lunar and use contact NPC spell. - I spot penguins only when I see them, I don't go hunting them. - I've never mined any stars, just doesn't appeal to me. - I go to the circus each week without fail, 5 mins work for 40k xp is awesome.
  24. You might want to run that one by the dictionary :D
