I am unlucky as heck, took me 2 hrs to get the top half, got the left half in 5 kills though. Lots of cool drops along the way: 1k fires 500 pure ess 50 laws 220 coal 30 mith ores 66 bloods 44 deaths tons of herbs plus misc things like addy med helms, 2 rune med The fact that it disappears when it runs out of charges is a pain. The boots are cool because they work in f2p.

What do you have to kill to get the mask?

So what all do you have to kill to get all the pieces? Do the boots work in f2p as well? They stink as far as p2p boots go.

Addme craigevil. What world and times? I would love to get the mace but world 78 sucks because it lags so bad.

It looks really complicated compared to otehr minigames, and getting the 10000 pieces of eight for the clues will probably take forever. That said it also might be fun to try.

Mine is a zig zag mess, didnt realize how to position the rooms until I had like 7 rooms so its a royal mess. But im am bored with construction and the ton of money it requires. I am only lvl 28 and ive spent over 250k. Maybe once there are quest or tears of guthix gives exp.

How cow they must have millions to spend on supplies!! I have been working at it for over 16 hours and I am only lvl 28. Of course I am poor and the only thing I keep paying for is the sawmill to turn my oak logs into planks, bagged plants and some limestone for a pond. I do have a sexy french maid though. :) Run to the bank baby.

Does anyone that actually runs Linux have any clue whats going on? It runs on my desktop, it runs in vmplayer in winxp, it runs from LiveCD on the laptop which uses more ram than actually running it from the harddrive. So ram isnt the issue. If it was it wouldn't run from a LiveCD. Desktop, vmplayer and LiveCD are all the same version that is on the laptop. So it makes no sense why it won't run. I guess as a worst resort I can run from a LiveCd but it runs so freaking slow that way. Oh well my wife is the one that uses the laptop I run it from the desktop.

USing a browser in Linux the client doesn't work in Linux. At least not that I have able to figure out. Yeah it just stops at "Loading Updates 0%". Its weird because I am using the same version of Linux on my desktop and it loads. If I use a LiveCD on my laptop it will load but runs rather slow, which is expected of a LiveCD.

Ok heres the thing I have Kanotix Easter RC4 installed on my laptop and on my desktop. The biggest differences between the two are: desktop has 512ram a 1.8athlon and Nvidia video card Runescape loads in Firefox no problem laptop has 256ram 750 PIII and ATI Rage Runescape starts to load then freezes at "Loading Updates" Tried using Firefox, Konqueror and Opera same thing in all 3. I am using the latest Sun Java on both. With most if not all of the same packages on both, other than the few laptop packages on the laptop. java version "1.5.0_06" Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05) Java HotSpot Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing) Am I running into a memory issue? Running top doesn't show an abnormal of ram being used and even in KDE I still have around 60k free not counting cached. CPU on either laptop or desktop dont run very high when trying to load or run RS. Java console doesn't show any errors nor does Firefox if I run it from a terminal. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java and using an older version, even tried using the Blackdown Java no luck. Have also tried running various browsers as root same thing occurs. Tried running unsigned applet, default applet and Sun Java applets all fail to load completely. Testing Java on any other site load just fine.

You can get a second one quite easy. Just have the same materials you needed to make the first. Drop the first then talk to the dwarf again, he will make you a second one. Now pick up the first one. Make sure you only have 1 in your inventory when you talk to the squire, otherwise he will take both. You now have another useless weapon. Enjoy. (The Tip.It quest guide explains this also.)

Pk would be fun if you had a choice on whether you wanted to be attacked by players in wild. As it is it just makes going into the wild and places like the abyss a big pain. I've only been in the wild twice, once for a quest and once to do mage arena so I could get a god cape and god staff. Other than that I would never go in wild. Too many 100+ idiots that attack anything that moves. Personally I think there should be an option to turn off pking like in Diablo where you have to go hostile in a town. Show something like a red skull when you are hostile and able to pk. I've never pked and I think RS is still fun. That's what quests and skill training are for. You want to kill things work on your Slayer skill. Not other player.

Add me. I am kinda in the same boat. Although I've only played since last September. I have a couple people on my friends list but they seem to never be on. I am not in a clan simply because I don't pk, and the one clan I was in that's pretty much all they did as a group. I play the game for fun and to relax not to kill other people. I try to help people whenever I can. And if you have any suggestions about the harder quests like Legends, MM, and Desert Treasure feel free to share them. I plan on doing Legends friday. Nice guide I am a big chicken and have never tried the barrows. Might just have to give it a try. I am big chicken because I haven't died since the first day of playing. Of course I still have all of the harder quests to do also. (185qp) Sound the Monty Python battle cry "Run away!!"

If you want to give Linux a try I would suggest PCLinuxOS. Much easier to install than SUSE, plus things like Multimedia, Java, Flash all work without needing to tweak or install things. It is also a LiveCD like Knoppix. PCLinuxOS http://www.pclinuxos.com/ Personally I love Linux and wouldn't go back to running windows again if someone paid me.

I use Firefox pretty much as my only browser. Haven't used Adblock for over 2 yrs, blocks too many things I want to actually see. Adblock has also been implicated in a lot of the crashes people are having with 1.5 and 1.5.0.1. Just jump over to the Mozillazine forums. I use the NoScript extension(blocks Java, Javascript and Flash) and the HOSTS file from: Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm Blocks most malware sites and quite a few of the big adware companies like Tribalfusion and Caselmedia. Of course I also run my Linux machine 9 out of 10 days so the malware sites aren't a problem.

Sweet I now have a use for the 1k potatoe seeds and the 500 sweetcorn siting in my bank. Potatoes wont replace sharks , lobbies or swordies because they are so time consuming to make. And everyone thinks farming is a stupid skill. lol

Uh a cd would suck. I use Linux and Firefox. Members already pay to play why would we want to pay for a cd? In my case I pay $5.50 a month because of the currency difference. Personally I don't really see what the big deal is about autoers. Most of them cut yews or magics, fish sharks, run flax or mine ess. We all need those items and we all buy them. I've never ran a macro , wouldn't even know where to start. As for rare items like p hats and santas ; they are a stupid waste of bank space. If an item doesnt serve a purpose its not taking up my bank space. Who cares if it is worth millions? I play to have fun because I enjoy the game not to be a millionaire in RS. Heck I don't even have a whip. Merching is so freaking boring. Maybe now I can sell my sharks for 1k instead f having ppl tell me they are only worth 800 ea.

So on the rare chance I can get into world 2 just head over to the temple? Cool. Only problem with that is is 4 months of playing I have only been able to login to world 2 like 6 times all late at night. But I will give it a try. Thanks.
