Far Cry 2 comes out on the 24th October (for Europe, 21st for NA) on PC, 360 and PS3, it looks amazing and it's completely open-ended. The team making it was careful to ensure there was no loss of quality between the different platforms. Don't just assume it belongs to the parents. I have an Xbox360 and a new TV in my room. I earnt the money for the TV and I was given the 360 as a gift.

I don't wanna buy too many (all 6 will cost £270) but I'm thinking of: CoD5 Fable 2 James Bond: Quantum of Solace (am I the first to mention this? I think you can run it on consoles in preset games but yeah its something ive read about from the pc players of COD4.Its like the smacktalk weapon just knifing someone in the back while theyre on one of those mounted machineguns.In knife fights basically those games play on confined maps shipment or a modded map.I dont like the idea of this because it doesnt really determine skill but connection speed, framerate and a bit of luck on how teh game determines who killed who, then on those small maps which are basically a building they can have only one spawn point so they just camp them throughout :shame:. Edit:The duelist aspect of that is something which is better in pistol duels which is a matter of the quickest to turn around and aim at the head.I think they have default perks to make it more skill based like juggernaut and the pistol has to have a silencer to rule out that beast called the desert eagle.Seen a few videos of these on the COD4 section on infinity wards website and they look real cool. Lol I played a few knives only games with friends, it is not about connection speed at all, unless you're is the extreme bottom with 1 bar of connection. It is about skill, when to hit the knife button. If you do play one of these, do it on old school, jumping and knifing pretty cool. We did it on crossfire and on shipment (but only on the crates), I prefered the big maps... I play on a 360 fyi. [sorry for going back a few pages lol]

AK-47 is a really gun, I use it quite often. Put a silencer on it to prevent strong recoil. I hate the grenade launcher and anyone who uses it, such a stupid weapon which people with no skill use for easy kills. :evil: Damn, you people have a lot to learn from my clanmate. He uses the Nade Launcher, and is an absolute God with it. He doesn't use it for start of round spam or keep it up constantly, he uses it to clear out sniper's hidey-holes, get rid of enemy blockades and stuff, and he is so good at judging distance and trajectory and stuff it's creepy. Lol, it's not that I'm bad with it, far from that. When I used it, I got a kill with pretty much every shot, but now I realise how annoying it is after waves and waves of noobs using it. A grenade can do all the jobs you listed, you don't need a launcher for it.

I doubt the PS3 will sell the most consoles this year... I spoke to a friend who owns a PS3 and he says it's not even much better than standard TV, for UK owners, Microsoft is teaming up with BT Vision to get TV on the 360, I'm pretty sure there will be more from both sides so we'll have to wait and see.
