  1. Attacking the monsters in front of the portal is NOT selfish. It allows you to hit spinners as soon as they spawn out of the portal, and sometimes even reach spinners that other players can't get to, particularly if there are brawlers in the way. And you're not going to find a spot 1/10th as good as it for chinchompas. Just direct people - when 3 or 4 monsters pile up, tell everyone you've got spinners and they should hit the portal. Far and away the best thing to do is run right to the rightmost portal, and stand 2 squares back from the middle square in front of the portal. Wait for 3 monsters to spawn - every single monster that comes out of that portal heads toward the void knight in a straight line, so you'll block them all right in front of the portal in one big stack. Once there are 3 monsters there, start hucking your chompas. You'll distract any spinners and they won't heal the portal, and you'll get massive amounts of XP - not 1k per toss, that's an exaggeration, but you'll easily get 300-400 per toss. And even on the best worlds, enough monsters will come out of the portal to be worth it.
  2. In the 5 hours you've been waiting on this thread you could have gotten 2 more slayer levels
  3. There's only 3 rocks in the wild. The 2 in the back and the 1 in the lava maze dungeon. Lava maze is not better. Especially the time you spend walking to the bank/the chance of dying on the way back or there. No, it involves teleing to the ice plateau, mining, world hopping, mining some more, then suiciding in or teleing from KBD lair.
  4. Yes, you get the same smithing exp as you would get from smelting in a furnace.
  5. It really is very crowded, almost all the time. Definitely the worst spot in all of Runescape to try to mine lots of rune. If you get lucky and can properly time the respawns, you're looking at 30-40 ores per hour max at Heros guild, and that's if you get lucky and it's not that crowded. But I'd say you'll find, on average, 5-6 people world-hopping at Heros mining rune. Which doesn't sound like much spread across 60 or so worlds, but since the rune is taking 20+ minutes to respawn in a lot of those worlds, it is. Add to that the alchers that often camp in worlds 2-18, and there just isn't enough to go around.
  6. There is a faster (admittedly not much) method for getting rune ores than this involving the wilderness rune rocks, and it can be done 100% safely to net around 60 ores per hour :D
  7. If you're so great at fair fights, why not go to the duel arena? Then you can make sure you get a nice reward for winning.
  8. Go back to Lunar Island and pray at the astral altar.
  9. Which would actually be relevant if he was a member.
  10. I don't know what your max hit will be, but I would estimate you'll need around 1500-2k red chinchompas at PC, without cashing in any points. You will use them very quickly, and I would save your points for something else.
  11. World 16 airs will be WAY faster, though you will lose some money. World 66 laws will be even faster than airs, but also a lot more expensive. The best way to train runecrafting and make money is fire runes with dueling rings, although you can break even at world 16 once you reach level 66 runecrafting.
  12. Make mith stuff and alch it. You will lose a lot less money that way than with gold, and it's faster smithing exp. Don't know what mining helmet you mean, but mining and dropping iron is one of the fastest ways to level. Don't make 4 dose pots, it's a complete waste when trying to sell them. 3 dose super strength/super attack sets will sell for 7k. Nothing else is worth making, unless you feel like making super defense pots once you get to 67 and selling super sets. Super restores are good to make, but snapdragons can be hard to come by. Plant a bunch of herbs along the way while working on the other skills. Then you can easily recoup the cost of the tree seeds, and help boost your herblore. Since accomplishing all of these goals will take you a couple months, just keep growing herbs along the way and you'll make a significant profit. In fact, if you continually grow herbs, you may not need to grow trees at all. Salamanders are slightly faster, but much more annoying to catch. I would recommend chinchompas.
  13. Full proselyte, white boots, white gloves, blessed holy symbol, any of the god books, and a d mace gives you a pretty hefty prayer bonus.
  14. Neither will ean you much? Mining rune certainly will, I can mine 40-50 ores an hour if I want. Even if I only sell them for 10k each, that's over 400k profit per hour.

    Gems

Nope, the Rogue's Den safes are much faster for ordinary gems. Another alternative is to try a combination of the safes in King Lathas' castle and the gem stall in Ardy, but that's still probably not as fast and you'll get almost all sapphs.
  16. Ice burst at pest control. Use all of your points on magic.
  17. It's not nearly that long. In a regular furnace, you can do just about 1k an hour, making it 50-60 hours probably to smelt them all, then another 50-60 hours to smith them all. The blast furnace will be much faster if you can find people to run it with you, but slower if you have to solo.
  18. Just walk down to Taverly dungeon and do the task, it won't take very long.
  19. Chinchompas at PC are way faster than anything else.
  20. You have to be 63 hunter to be able to catch the red chinchompas. I would definitely recommend them over a cannon.
  21. I'll make it for you. Meet me at world 60 varrock with 2 addy bars.
  22. The best macro-free yew place ever is the one tree on the road that connects Draynor with Port Sarim and Fally. The downside is that there is only 1 tree there, but the upside is that nobody ever cuts it. The ones between Varrock and the earth altar are also good.
  23. Stats are unimportant, just kill whatever the slayer master tells you to kill.
  24. Dropping a full inv of fish takes a lot more time than banking or selling them. If the Lumby spot is right there across from the general store, it's gotta be faster, although you can often times find people willing to take cooked fish off your hands at Barbarian Village. Just bring an ax and tinderbox.
  25. Prayer at 57. Everything else is 61 or above.
