    Mining

Actually, don't powermine at your level, that is bad advice. Go to Varrock east mine, and mine and bank iron. Once you have 300 iron, sell it and go buy a rune pick. If you can't get the iron there because of other players, simply hop worlds. Only mine coal if you plan on smithing with it, iron is faster money and faster exp. You can start powermining around level 60.
  2. It's faster to either bring a knife and get water from cactuses in the area, or use the carpet to and from Shantay.
  3. Thieve gems from the safes in rogue's den. You can get a couple hundred emeralds in a few hours, plus tons of sapphires and rubies, plus good thieving exp. It's way faster for getting normal gems than the gem rocks in Shilo. If you aren't going to buy them, this is easily the best way.
  4. The distance from bank to furnace in al-Kharid is half the distance in Fally. use al-Kharid.
  5. The white berries by the red dragons are in a place where the dragons can't get you. Trust me, you'll be able to get them there just fine, just bring an anti-dragon shield just in case. You might as well pick up a full inventory while up there.
  6. MINING Powermine iron in al-Kharid, Ardougne, or near Piscatoris, mining and dropping. You can get about 36k exp per hour this way. All you need is 60+ mining and a rune pick. SMITHING Smithing the highest plates you can. You can smith around 2k bars per hour. Using steel, you will get around 75k per hour. Mith will get you 100k exp per hour. Addy will get you 125k per hour, though addy bars in large quantities can be difficult to find. Requirements are 48, 68, or 88 smithing and a hammer. And a TON of money. Alternate method - gold ore. You can smelt probably 800 ores per hour, getting 45k exp per hour. This is cheaper than smithing plates, but slower as well. And while plates can be alched, it's not so easy to figure out what to do with lots of gold bars. They are pretty hard to sell. Requirements are 40 smithing, and goldsmithing gauntlets obtained from the Family Crest quest.
  7. Not even close to 1k. I'd say 300-400.
  8. Crafting guild is the best.
  9. It happens a LOT more frequently than every 10 minutes. I'd say you can spend 2/3 of your time in there alching for free. With depositing the money you get, it's probably about the same amount of exp as alching normally. The only downside is you can't make any money from doing it, but unless you're making things from scratch, alching loses money anyway. So you can use the mage training arena instead of spending all that time making bows.
  10. After you fill the trucks, mine another load and then tele to Camelot. There is a house a short distance NW of the Seers bank that has a truck in it. Just click on the truck, and you will withdraw the coal. Bank and repeat.
  11. Knives don't hit as hard as arrows, but they are significantly faster. I wouldn't recommend using knives until you're around level 65 or so.
  12. Mining guild is definitely better than the coal trucks. Coal trucks can be crowded, while the guild will always be empty. Plus the guild has mith you can mine, if you're into that sort of thing.
  13. Why not just bring some knives or darts or air strikes? With a bank so close, you don't have to worry about keeping inventory spaces open. Seems like a dumb reason not to use that area to me. A pretty easy negative to overcome.
  14. I think people should actually test it out. If you are 74+ RCing (and not yet 91) and this shortcut is about the same as the abyss, it could be a useful alternative to crafting nats.. It could also be extremely useful for skill pures who want to train rcing without paying runners, or to anyone who wants to craft quickly without using the abyss. Because if you are level 70-90, the abyss can be a harrowing experience at times. Not to mention, if you happen to be stingy with your cash, it could provide a nice alternative for people who craft their own runes to train mage. All of this, of course, depends on how fast it is. If it is comparable to a run through the abyss, then it sounds pretty good to me. If not, then I agree it's pretty useless.
  15. At Yanille you never have to right click the anvil because of people in the way like you often do at Varrock. Makes it worth using.
  16. Buy an equal number of irits and kwuarm. Buy your eyes of newt and limps. Buy some water-filled vials. Make sure that your price for 1 irit, 1 kwuarm, 1 eye of newt, 1 limp, and 2 WFV is less than or equal to 7k. Make all of your pots, and go to Edge and sell super atlk/str sets 7kea. If you truly hate buying and selling, then manage your kingdom to get you 100% herbs, and constantly farm kwuarms, irits, and limps. After a couple of weeks, you'll have tons of herbs.
  17. Gnome stronghold also has flax and spinning wheels right next to some yews and a magic tree. You can cut, fletch, and alch all in one litte area. You can cut trees for hours without banking, which is nice.
  18. You're going to need more that 8m to buy full guthans.
  19. Unless you are a low level, your opinion sucks. Cave slimes are WAY faster than swamp respawns.
  20. I think you should work on more skills first.
  21. You don't need to worry about dying, or have friends attack the ice warriors. Just bring some low level food with you, sardines or even shrimp will do. Run through the pirates and hobgoblins to get to the opening of the ice portion. Heal up to 10 hp, and then run for the eastern wall. It's the closest rock to the entrance, and chances are very slim you will get attacked while mining.
  22. It's the only good gold mining spot in f2p. One thing I did to add in a little profit is to stop by the air altar and craft air runes on my walk to the crafting guild. It only adds a few seconds to each trip, and since you need to have airs with you anyway, there's no reason not to. You can craft 250 essences in 10 runs this way. It will add another 10-20k per hour in profit, depending on your runecrafting level.
  23. Try 1k each at least. Buying them from other players is really the only way to get a lot of them quickly. A good alternate method from those suggested above would be killing the giant mole.
