  1. You can't calculate it yourself? 52 exp for the cast. You can hit a maximum of 9 targets for a maximum 30 damage. You get 2 exp per hp of damage you do with a magic spell. 9*30 = 270 270+52 = 332 So the maximum magic XP you can get from one ice barrage is 332.
  2. When you sell to this store, they buy at the high alch price, right? But does the price start going down once you've sold a couple, or can you sell all of your stuff there at the high alch price? Also, would a level 3 be able to survive there with an inventory (mostly) full of food?
  3. First of all, I have a feeling you macroed for a lot more than just "walking around a few seconds." Second, if you wrote your appeal like this, I don't think they'll listen.
  4. It could be cool to get the head for your skill hall.
  5. If you're going to kill monsters, forget chaos druids - they're often crowded, and don't drop anything else good. The best monster to kill for herb drops are Banshees You will score a ton of pure ess, level 1 clues, and a few pairs of black/red mystic gloves. If you have ancients or a Kharyrll portal in your house, banking and getting back to the tower is fairly quick.
  6. 36k per hour if you drop the ores.
  7. You will need around 300 laws. Each telekinetic point costs you 1.6 laws. Also, you can do the alchemist's playgound without using any natures if you do it properly. And the graveyard should only be 200-300 natures.
  8. You won't get killed unless you get teamed, and if that happens, you'll likely die no matter what you wear. So the best thing to do is not wear any armor, and just take 20 or so lobs, a tele is optional but might be a good idea.
  9. I usually cook them before giving them away to get the cooking exp, and people still take them right away, so it's good to try cooking oo if you wat to level that skill as well.
  10. I usually estimate the average hit at half the max hit, so I would say that calculation is accurate.
  11. You won't be able to sell them. Just gather the ingredients yourself and use them to help your training.
  12. Do you have a link to that thread? Because it seems to me you could merchant 50 mil in a week or 2. Where, even at 10k exp per hour crafting nats through the abyss, it will take you over 500 hours of runecrafting from 44 to 91. Even at 5 hours a day of nothing but runecrafting, that's over 3 months. And that takes more dedication than most players have.
  13. Bone scavenging is the best. On a crowded world, the chickens or cows in Lumby, or the wizards south of Varrock will be your best bet, there are always tone of bones on the ground and you don't have to venture into the wildy.
  14. Actually, if you go up there with like 8 keys and drop the daggers, it's really not a bad reward and probably worth the trip for an f2p player, for the anchovy pizzas alone if nothing else. And I've sold them to f2ps for 20k before. Not sure why people are willing to pay that much, but I'm guessing it's because few players actually know what it's for and what you get.
  15. Alching rune meds won't work, there isn't a big enough supply of them. Depending on your level, superheating might be a good option. Just buy nats and a fire staff. You can superheat steel bars and still sell them for a good profit if you mine iron and coal in the dwarven mines. Or you could try superheating steel in the iron and coal mine in level 6 wildy north of Edgeville.
  16. FFL is WAY faster than crafting on your own! But if money is your concern, why not get the best of both worlds and craft airs with runners on world 16? You won't lose too much, and beginning at level 55, you will break even or maybe even make a small profit. If money is REALLY a concern, then the fastest way to level rc and still make money would be to do fires with dueling rings until you get to level 66, then airs the rest of the way. But as with all questions of "What is the best method for X skill," it's impossible to give a good answer without knowing whether you care about making money or not. But I can tell you that solo crafting any runes through the abyss is not one of the faster methods.
  17. You should really consider growing your own herbs, especially ones with easy to get seconds, like toadflax and ranarrs.
  18. I like to buy a bunch of nats, then head over to the Gnome Stronghold with an axe and a knife. There are yew trees, magic trees, flax, and spinning wheels all in one area. You can make your own bows from scratch there and alch them. You could craft nats and do this as well.
  19. It isn't a small difference in demand, it's huge. Airs are easy to sell even in very large numbers. Nobody buys earth runes. And because of the relatively low level needed to craft 6 or 7 airs per essence, players can pay runners and still break even or make a small profit while training their runecrafting very quickly.
  20. This guide is no good. There are many ways to rain your magic from 70-99. Many are faster and/or more fun than alching. Recommending that someone get basically all the way to 99 magic by teleporting and alching is not wise. Some people might like to actually get HP experience. A good guide should provide lots of alternatives to help players of all styles.
  21. Use fairy rings, I think the coordinates are AKQ.
  22. What about Rimmington? It's not too far if you cut there and then use tele runes to get back to Fally. Even with some autoers, 4 trees could be enough to go around if it's not too crowded.
  23. You can also try the lair in the deep wildy, near mage bank, if you don't mind the risk.
  24. Wow, there is a lot of bad advice in this thread! Mining and dropping in al-Kharid at the 3 rocks is the fastest experience. Mining and banking iron in southeast or southwest Varrock is the second-fastest method. Mining coal is the third fastest IF you buy a bunch of mith or addy ores so that you can superheat. This lets you stay in the guild and mine 100+ coal without needing to bank. Although, you may want to try the wildy skeleton mine instead - the usual crowds in the mining guild can hurt your exp. The skelly mine will almost always be empty, and you can always bring runes to tele in case you get attacked. There is a ton of coal there. Any mining that involves any ore besides iron or coal is not good experience at all. In fact, nothing beats mining and banking iron for money, either, unless you are using the hobgoblin mine or mining rune.
