If you use the blast furnace, you might as well make both iron and steel knives. Iron knives in the blast furnace are THE BEST thing to make when the furnace is crowded - people rarely use up the iron, and it gets refilled much faster than the coal. You don't have to worry about mining your own iron that way.

I started the agility arena at level 32. I would recommend doing that straight until level 52, when you can use wildy course. Once you get the layout of the arena down, and you know which obstacles you can't cross yet, you can make it surprisingly far around the arena. Gnome and Barbarian courses are so boring that the arena will provide you a MUCH more fun alternative. Although you will constantly fall off of the pillars and hand-holds.

Normal logs are worth 75-100 gp each regardless of construction, for making arrow shafts. -
What's the point? If you're paying people for the cost of the nats while running, why not just buy them? This seems like a waste of time to me.

The Fued gives you over 10k thieving exp.

Empty worlds late at night, no mage bank pkers.

Hmm, I would say that this is your problem right here. Look at your per-bar profits - is it really necessary to be making rune 2-handers, baxes, scimmys, AND wc axes? Is it really necessary to make anything other than addy plates? Actually, is it necessary to make addy at all? Consider if it's worth your time mucking about selling addy stuff, or anything rune besides wc axes, scimmys, and armor. You may be getting more return per ore/bar with baxes and 2-handers, but do you sell them often enough to warrant keeping 2 bank spaces for them, as opposed to just making wc axes or armor?

For intense agility training, don't be afraid to switch things up. Do wilderness for a while, then maybe switch to Brimhaven and get 100 tickets, then go to Ape Atoll, etc. Don't try to do it all at 1 place, you'll get burnt out really fast.

No. It is advisable to always pay the nearby farmer to watch your tree for you, in which case compost is irrelevant. The tree will always grow; use Tip.it's farming guide for info on what you have to pay the farmer. I'm not really sure how the game clocks the growth of trees - I'm guessing it's on the same cycle as flowers/allotment/herb patches, but only grows every few cycles. Regardless of how, though, all trees will take several hours to grow, the higher the tree, the longer it takes. Again, reference Tip.it's guide for growing times. Nope. The option to check-health only comes up once the tree is fully grown. If you've paid the farmer to watch it, you need not come back to it until enough time has passed that the tree is fully grown. If you don't pay the farmer, you would have to check it and prune it if diseased, but since you WILL be paying the farmer, just set it and forget it

Tip.it home world also seems to be pretty good. Can anyone verify if the tweaked monster difficulty is noticeable? It seems unnecessary to me, the game difficulty seemed pretty much perfect because the exp rewards are so good.

Inventory: Small-large pouches Pure Ess Ectophial (going to use crystals from now on) Equipped: Full red dhide Glory Dueling Ring Rune axe Sara Cape Elemental Shield I usually go hatless and bring an axe instead of a pick because it's much easier to replace. Dueling ring and glory is because I've been known to bring an uncharged glory by accident and I really don't like being stranded at the nature altar and having to walk so far to get back

Actually, there is a teleport spell that requires level 96. Can't remember where it takes you, maybe ice plateau.

If you haven't done it yet, do Knight's Sword quest. 12.5k smithing experience. -
I got this several times a couple of months ago on a new character I had made that was mining and crafting all his own runes. This was before the ess switch, si it has definitely been around.

without high alc what would runescape do?
kdb148 replied to Italian5kamikaze's topic in General Discussion
The price the stores buy at goes down as stocks go up. So you wouldn't be getting anywhere near the high alch price, because stores would still all be full of stuff like plates and bows. -
Yeah, I'm interested to hear how fast this is.

Someplace that never gets used, like the body altar, would be pretty cool 8-)

I think he's probably below the level to do either of those :? There are many advantages to levelling herblore. The number 1 advantage I can think of is being able to make your own prayer potions once you get to level 38. Over time, being able to just go kill some druids for ranarrs when you need prayer potions will save you a LOT of money. If you can get your farming level up, adding ranarr growing to whatever training or money making you do will increase your overall profits by a lot. Other advantages - making your own super attack/strength potions for training to improve your efficiency while gaining levels. Selling these potions will also make you some money. In addition, important quests like hero's and legend's have herblore requirements; 45 is the absolute lowest herblore level you should have so that you can do legends. As for levelling quickly, that's hard to do. You can usually get lots of low level herbs fairly quickly by going into Taverly dungeon and picking up the guams, marrentills, and tarromins that people are dropping. The fastest way to get vials is to buy plant cures in Catherby and empty them out on your way back to the bank. Second ingredients can be a real pain to get - sticking with guams might be a good idea since you can always just go to Port Sarim and buy some. Limps can be gotten by killing hobgoblins.

Yeah, just because they said they weren't macroing doesn't make it true. Chances are they got banned for macroing but didn't want to admit that they were doing it
-
I don't understand how people can possibly think it's ever safe to either believe what someone tells them in the wildy, or even open up a trade screen.
-
Probably because he scammed someone, duh. I'm willing to bet that 9 out of the 10 people who complain about being unfairly banned were actually banned for a perfectly good reason. And I can pretty much guarantee that when someone tells a story about what happened to their "friend," it's not true.

Highest - smithing 89. Lowest - prayer 51. Playing since Sept. 2005.
