What to Post This thread is for all discussions and suggestions related to the Editorial Panel. This includes the structure of the panel, the layout of the Times, the guest article submission process, or anything else related to the team and its inner workings. You may also post any questions about the application process. What NOT to Post This thread is NOT for commenting on specific articles. If you want to talk about and discuss Tip.It Times articles you should use the relevant Tip.It Times thread in the General Discussion forum. If you have any complaints about a specific member of the Editorial Panel (particularly his/her behaviour), do NOT post about it here. Instead, contact an Administrator via private message to make your case. Please provide as much detail as possible (such as background information, a link to the offending post(s) if applicable, and any other relevant information). Your complaint will be considered and the appropriate action will be taken. Finally, do not use this thread to post your application or guest articles. I'm reading Inheritance now. I'm honestly not a huge fan of the author since the series is basically copied from every other fantasy novel.. but since I like the novels they're copied from I can't help but also like this series. Anyway I read the other three books so just finishing things up.

Aw that's too bad :( You are correct though. The Tip.It Times only publishes material related to RuneScape. While the occasional nostalgia article is okay, people mostly like to read about current events and recent updates. Thanks anyway :)

I don't think this is a particularly unreasonable or demanding request. It shouldn't be much effort to do so I don't see why there's such an argument over it :P It's not a necessary change but there's clearly some interest for it. In any case, the final decision will probably be left up to Peter :P

With Peter Jackson directing, how could it go wrong?? :mrgreen: I was really worried/skeptical when Peter Jackson was only down to produce it. But now that he's directing I'm confident that he'll do it justice.

IMO she has abandoned you. She abandoned you a long time ago. From what I can tell, she doesn't care if she screws up her life and she may even be enjoying partying all the time and hanging out with her new boyfriend. You don't need to worry about whether or not you're abandoning her because it's not feasible for you to be there for her when you're separated by distance and she's not letting you in her life. It's time to let her go.

Please post some of your videos directly in this thread :) We like to have some content directly on the page for people to look at rather than just directing them to another source! It will also help us better determine if RuneScape Media is the right forum. For example, if you have video guides then General Guides would be a better place to post this. If you just have video commentary, RuneScape Media is great! Thanks :)

Recently the moderating team has noticed an influx of video based guides which are becoming increasingly more popular. However, people often have a strong preference and really like or dislike video guides. In order to distinguish these guides from text based ones a [Video] tag system will be implemented into the titles of guides. By marking video guides with a [Video] tag in the title, this will allow users to locate the type of medium they want to use faster and more efficiently. We hope this will allow guide creators to better reach their target audience and make the Archive of Wisdom and it's subforums easier for everyone to use. Example of the new tag system: [Video] How to defeat Nomad in 5 easy steps ** This is what the title would look like for a video guideHow to defeat Nomad in 5 easy steps ** Normal text guides don't need a tag The moderating team will try and go through many of the most recent guides and add the tag where needed to make this transition easier for everyone. If by chance a guide is missing a tag, just use the report feature to let us know. We would greatly appreciate if it any future video guide authors would add their own tags to the beginning of their topic title. Thanks for your cooperation :).

Well all of our articles do have to be RuneScape or Jagex-related so being a current RuneScape player really helps because that's the best way to be up-to-date with game updates, etc. But if you feel you are able to write about RuneScape and provide interesting articles without playing the game, we will certainly give you a fair chance and look at what you have to offer :)

My guess is that Skyrim had already been released and claimed to be the best game of the year. People have played it and know it's absolutely epic, whereas people here probably hadn't played SWTOR yet (maybe not that many people here in beta and it hasn't been officially released yet). I think a lot of people see SWTOR as "just another WoW," whereas Skyrim is supposedly a bit more revolutionary (I say "supposedly" because I haven't actually played Skyrim). SWTOR is honestly quite similar to WoW in UI and game mechanics, but if you like that kind of thing then you'll probably really love the game. My opinion will be fairly one-sided since I haven't played Skyrim, but I see SWTOR as a game that will hold my attention for longer than Skyrim. I feel like I might be able to play Skyrim for about a month and then I'd feel done with it and that would be the end. But I know I'll be playing SWTOR for many months (or even years) to come.

I finally played God of War recently. I had been wanting to for eooooooons but I didn't have a PS3. I bought one literally so I could play these games :P I have now finished all of them except Ghost of Sparta.
