  1. One month until my graduation. What the hell? Where did this come from?

  2. About the whole make up thing, I can't stand it either. I mean, the goal of make up is to make it look like you aren't wearing any in the first place. So I don't like excessive amounts on a girl. About the piercings and tattoos section as well, I think it deals with my first category, how excessive/moderate we are talking about. My personal preference is to not be excessive with it, so just "normal" piercings on the earlobe and for tattoo, if it's in taste, so be it. I personally won't ever do either due to being in a broadcasting degree and really can't have them in a way. But that's besides the point. Here's something surprising for some people, I'm not a skin person. I'll walk into a girls room where one is wearing a tank top and ask them to put on a shirt. :P Yeah yeah, oh well. Long legs don't kick it for me either. No pun intended. And my rule about size and fat: The Hug Test. If I feel like I will break her with a hug. No. If I can't get my arms around her. No. End of story.

    Today...

Just got done being an actor in a student short film. I definitely like that side of things rather than crew side, because I wasn't allowed to touch any of the equipment. :D I just had to stand there and look pretty.
  4. It looks cool to me? I must have lost my taste in dress if everyone else dislikes it :P

    April Fools day!

I enjoy this day so much. This what I've done so far on my campus. 1. Put a keyboard bench in the ceiling so it looked like inception happened and they couldn't sit on it anymore. 2. Put a ladder that reached to the ceiling, and removed the ceiling tile so we had Jacob's Ladder/stairway to heaven. 3. Put a stack of cups in front of the RA's door and taped a little guy with a flag to the top of it so it looked like he was climbing the mountain of cups. 4. Duct taped a projector screen in front of someone's door so they can't get out. Funny part is, on the inside of the screen is a giant painted Jesus. 5. Took a fake tree, wrapped it in a towel, taped a picture of a face to it, and stuck it in the shower, and pulled the shower curtain closed. 6. Flipped all of the chairs over and put obnoxious magnets in any metal area we could find. 7. Stuck phone books wherever we could find. Best place I liked was the toaster like it popping up. And this was all before 2am. :D The last one I want to do is to tape a sign on the door saying "Door Broken, use other door." And then on the other door, place the same sign. Golden. I'm just trying to figure out what I want/can do to my girlfriend. She's never been pranked before so I want to take this opportunity to change that. :D
  6. I'm glad Cabbage got put in there somewhere. :)
  7. I have a Bieber Fever, and the only prescription, is more cowbell.

    Today...

I know it's not "Today!" but I wanted to share the story with you anyways. Two days ago, I got a phone call that I didn't know who it was. So I let it go to voicemail. I decide to listen to it so I could delete it. Surprised me, it's actually ESPN on the line. They called me about my application I sent in like three weeks ago for a position and wanted to talk to me and ask a few questions. I gave him a call yesterday, and we just start having a conversation about my resume, my application, my job experiences, etc. Then we start talking about baseball and other random stuff. Talk talk talk, next thing I know, he wants to fly me out to ESPN Headquarters in Bristol Conneticut for an in person interview. How sweet is this? This is basically me getting an interview to work at my dream job right out of college. I am so excited, it still hasn't set in yet. I'd be flying out mid April, spend the night in a hotel, get my interview done, get a tour of ESPN, treat me to lunch, then fly me back so I can go back to classes. All expense paid trip to ESPN HQ, every sports fans dream? I think so! So yeah, here is to hoping it gets me something!

    Today...

March Madness, Super Moon, missing my girl, lots of chili, plenty of man dates, and missing out on pi(e) day and st. patrick's day. This sums up my week of spring break.
  10. I request that with my brief return to Forum Games, I can at least win one thread?
  11. I tried Drupal once, it had an interestin' look about it. SMF if basic and extremely bland and boring, but easy to use. Side note: I really don't like Expression Web, or anything like it for that matter. I prefer just hand-coding websites... It almost saddens me how a lot of site coders just rely on programs like that to do half of the work for them when they know little to nothing about HTML or CSS themselves... The sites usually turn out better from hand-coding, anyways, from my experiences. I do my own hand coding (what bits I do have to code) but I prefer using Expression/FrontPage just because of the split screen tool. I remember hearing Drupal at the convention, so I'll definitely check that one out as well as Wordpress.
  12. Hi there. I hope everyone is well. Here is the thing. The last time I made a topic in here, it was about buying templates for websites and utilizing them in a program like Expression Web. I succeed in making a website to my liking. You can find it at www.wqhu.net. This is the issue this time. I am graduating from my university in May, and my task is to shift all of my webpages into a Content Management System (CMS) for people who don't know web editing to edit the website freely after I am gone. I was wondering if you lovely folks could tell me which CMS you prefer and how easy it is to implement a current website into that CMS. The only one I know is Wordpress but the conference I went to was saying a bunch of other ones, so yeah, just help me out here. Basically, I'm wondering what CMS I should use and how easy it would be changing a current website into a template/website using a CMS for people with little to no knowledge of HTML. Thanks!
  13. I enjoyed facebook games until I realized that my schedule revolved around them. I deleted all of them (except my mafia wars which is my once a day ticker) and have really cut back on my internet consumption. When I don't have anything else to do, I just close my computer and go find something else to do. But that's just me, I do enjoy facebook games though. :)
  14. I bought Nic last time and still haven't used him.
  15. It just wasn't all that eventful for me this year. Oh well. I did enjoy Slash though.
  16. Going under the impression that tradeable =/= only one person, I would say it would be more valuable than the Santa Hat.
  17. In theaters, I saw The Fighter. Eh, not my favorite. I guess I don't have the attention span for it. But right now, I am writing a paper on Inception. So I'm watching it over and over and over again. I have to compare Inception to Filmmaking. Let's see how this goes....
  18. Thanks for the birthday wishes! You guys are neat. :)

  19. Nothing to see here folks. :P Already been answered.
  20. Ok, I think I've finally come up with a question to ask. Her family are real heavy drinkers. My family doesn't drink at all. I just don't know if I should be looking at this as a dealbreaker or not. So my question is, should I?
  21. Happy Birthday!!! I knew it had to be sometime around here...
