Well after working with Promise on the Death Match Rankings (DMR), the problem was not being able to go forward with so many if's, and's, or's, and but's, that stopped it from progressing. People wanted to rake in points by fighting the same people, etc. I've wanted to get a group wide TET event to have a DMR week or so. Not bring back the DMR, but rather live what it was supposed to be. I really like that idea because it just gives a taste of what is here that is offered, plus it would only require enough man power for a week. :) And yes, some sort of prize would be resolved for this. :rolleyes: I also like the idea of a general loot sticky here, but I don't want to kill any traffic that could be for creating new topics. But, I'd be willing to give it a try for this sake. I personally think an activity to get people here is the best opportunity if we want to see activity here.

Last weekend, I did not participate because I didn't enjoy the thought of it, getting twice the experience for what you normally would do. The idea behind though was great, in prep for Dungeoneering to come out so people had a better chance at making the higher tier'd items. This second time around? Bogus. What's the reasoning behind it? Oh, you want it? Ok, we will get it for you! If so, then where are all the other suggestions people have been making? Oh well, I find ridiculous. The point that just burns me in more, Labor Day weekend. Ok, so a small minority of people actually plan stuff for Labor Day weekend, aka, I'm one of them, so instead, I shall be out enjoying myself on road trips and BBQ's. :thumbsup: You guys go ahead and enjoy it, I ain't touching it at all.

Labor Day weekend? Pssh, even more reason for me not to attend. I don't like the concept of it either as I've stated previously on the last weekend, so I won't be logging in that weekend. You guys enjoy, I'm going to go enjoy BBQ's instead.

I'd rather just wait for everything to be finished and then I go and do it all on one day.

1427 And I am now back from camp for the summer. :) Nice to see the numbers dropping.

I've been on a no-spud diet for three months now. I'll tell ya, I never thought of how many potatoes I ate. I'm about to break it with one splurge to Wendy's for a Baconator and Fries. :) I'll probably do it again come university to see how many potatoes I eat there. (Which is a crap load. I eat cheeseburgers and fries mostly.) One item I did pick up eating to combat the less crunchy lifestyle was celery. :) Oh and some other things from camp about the food there. Make your own pizza nights are fantastic. We used both pizza crusts and garlic bread loaves. The latter was fantastic! Try it when you get the chance. I also made a stuffed crust pizza using pizza crusts. Pretty good too. Also brownies are the awesomeness that is chocolate. Ooey Gooey with chocolate chips in them, fantastic. How do you guys enjoy your brownies?

FCP = Final Cut Pro, a great movie editor but is not free.

I'm basically starting from scratch with both sites. Here are my two sites currently: Radio: http://www.wqhu.net/fuse/FuseMain.htm TV: http://www.htvnews.net/home.htm We are going to be adding new features as we develop them as well. So any templates I'm looking at purchasing need to be able to adept if you catch my drift. I've never purchased a template before, so I don't know how user friendly they are.

I've been a basic html coder (more of a monkey see, monkey do) so I hardly consider myself one. Well I've been given the task of being a webmaster for two campus websites, and they want a face lift. Now I know I ain't no designer, but a reference told me to check out Template Monster. Does anyone know anything about this place? Like how implementable would it be if I bought a template so it would fit my needs? Like how much coding of my own work will I have to put into it? I use Expressions for my program to edit pages, and the html pages are stored on a server in my school's database to which I have access to. Oh, and if you are curious, the types of websites would be an online radio station and a news tv station website. There are talks about combining the two as well, so that may be a good or a bad thing for me. ;) Thanks in advance! P.S. If you know of a better site to find web design templates, feel free to share some. I'm open to any solution that helps me out so I don't have to create a website from scratch (because I don't have the time to learn and implement it. :P)

I do know Avid Pinnacle was free the last time I tried to use it. It didn't support the file type I wanted, so I decided to just use FCP for all my movie needs.

I understand both sides of the slaying argument. It is a cut throat world, but I personally would be fine with switching worlds until I get a spot I like. I don't have a problem with that. Then again, efficiency isn't what I am looking for, others on the other hand do, so they are allowed to fight for a spot because they can. I still believe though that a little politeness goes a long way.

My father left me when I was 4 years old. He left my mom with three sons, one being a new born. I've grown up through 17 years now without someone there to teach me as a father should. A ton of it is psychological damage that he has put me through. Sure, I wouldn't be the man I am today if that didn't happen to me, but I'll tell ya, it hurts from my perspective. I got to talk to him recently and I did not fulfill the thoughts he would have liked upon me. That stabs deeper than any wound can be given. Yeah, I had to find influences from other sources (Other guys, movies *this was a major influence to me*, etc.) to fulfill the void. Yeah I learned here and there, but there are damages to not having a father (or mother) for one reason or another. I'll tell ya, I can be reaffirmed but the words of someone saying I did a good job, but the words coming from flesh and blood that you wish to seek affirmation from, does wonders that no one else can give. So I would have to disagree with you Paw Claw, not having a parental figure for whatever reason DOES have its consequences, good and bad.

Hey Umega, I remember you. :) Nowadays, there are a lot more maxed players than just one or two. So I don't know if there is much more of a "god" but yeah, I hope you understand what I meant by that. To level up in Dungeoneering, you have to complete the dungeons to get experience and tokens. You can read up on the guide we have on the website. Tehsengir answered your other questions. Look at this Guide and look at Monster #4. It's already been discussed and is a guide in the Archive of Wisdom. Cave Slime is what it is, a misunderstood monster that is not perfect for all, but could be beneficial to those who would like to kill them. I know I've done it before back in the day.
