You know what....? I..... fully endorse this thread. This is by far the most interesting thread on the General board for the last few days. Many of the people replying seem to be 15 year olds trying to act mature.. I seriously laughed out loud when I read this part; " I was strolling along {actually making a canoe } When this happened... That is cute. Do you see f2per having riots? We are happy when we get an update of any sort. Members moan 100% more than f2p about updates...so shush The main reason f2p don't "riot" is because no one would care if they did :lol: Thats not getting away from the point that the only people who riot in members are selfish and greedy. Also jagex never take anything away from f2pers :lol: Ah, of course, because people really care when P2p riot? And there's a hell of a lot of 'selfish and greedy' members then if all of the worlds surronding 99 stayed full for 3 whole days. Another thing, Jagex didn't 'take' Pest Control away, they did something called 'balancing' to not make it a primary method for a quick and easy level 90+ combat. And that avatar better not represent Tottenham lol.. :wink:

The quest cape isn't itended for pures, and I don't think Jagex ever intended that. It is clearly a cape of balance, showing that you've got a cape by doing hundreds of strange tasks killing random beasts and scrawling Runescape to find even the most obscure treasure. Unlike a Cooking/Fletching cape, which shows you can stand in a bank and clicking occasoinally. Bring on the higher requirements I say! :P And I really find it unlikely that the Quest Cape is more common than, say the Fletching Cape..

Good writing style, nice that it wasn't about Runescape, although after reading that I'd like to see just what you can do when it's based on fantasy. I did think that there could have been a little more scene setting in this one, I for one always like to imagine the settings as much as I can, and a good description is always nice. : Like I said to you before, loved the ending. :P

Quests offer variation from repetitive skill tasks, and on some rare occasions a decent reward (yes I would know, I have a Quest Cape, there are few good rewards). Then again they wont make you any money.. Both are vital in the gameplay for me, and my one desire in a new quest (or any update for that matter) is a Runecrafting update!!

The temple rebuilding world moved from World 2 to World 131 about 2 months ago. Make sure you use it, and promote it to other people who need a team to rebuild the temple. :

May I assume that by your avatar you're a mod? Ahem.. The last mod I spoke to about this (when I was f2p) said that flooding the chat with trade could also be reported under unnecessary text.

Want to show off your money but are too scared of losing it eh? Then I reckon you should just sell the rare, and buy 99 Construction and show off with that rare cape (which so far I've only seen 2 people with). Not only will you only loose 99k if you ever die with the cape, but you've got a very sought after level 99. :wink:

Macroing - Any programme which gives you an advantage over other players. Therefore autotypers are macroers, I report them when I can, but it seems Jagex are just too busy to deal with them, I've never had a message back from Jagex after I've reported an autotyper. They sure as hell deserve to be reported, how is it fair that they can spam the chat screen with their item that they're selling 5 times faster than I can do it by typing honestly? I wish someone would just pour petrol over all of these macroers, just before I casually throw a match over my shoulder.. -.- Sad, cheating on an online game..

lvl 50 isnt high in f2p, try like 85+. 50 in f2p is like 85 in p2p, a little better than average. Also if you have a total of above 300 you might be a legend in f2p. No offense to f2pers for life that are actually good. Uhh.. I got to like 100 combat in F2p with like a 1100 total, and that is a hell of a lot harder than getting to probably 106-110 combat in P2p. To be honest level 50 in F2p is like level 20 P2p. :|

Wow this thread grew fast! I think it's too early to deciede, the roits have only justy finished, so let's just hang on a bit and see if this population spurt in World 99 will die off. I do love W99 too much to just leave it after 3 days of it being full.. Oh, and I also think that if we really do need to move worlds then it should be World 77, but I think we should have a seperate poll on that another time.

So, just because you pay it means you want something like an automatic level 99 button? The reward of getting Ancients is such an achievement because of all the requirements it takes to get (although to be honest the requirements for it aren't exactly hard..). You can't expect great rewards for doing nothing.. :|

London is really, really expensive. Travel alone will cost a ton, so make sure you buy something called an 'Oyster Card' (it's a top-up card for travel) if you plan on using the busses/tubes a lot. I think it was a good decision, Jagex knows the new method slows down Fletching, I believe it was their intention to do so. Before the change you could get crazy Xp with Fletching = too many people with 99 Fletching. Once again, I blame it soley on the 'damn skill cape chasers'.[/hate of people who get easy 99s just to show off]

Well, I wouldn't mind any Runecrafting update to be honest.. All we've had recently was that terrible Varrock quest. And as to where the Blood altar will be? I'd say the Sanguienesti region too, namely... *lights dim* ... In Castle Drakan... :-w
